@link6161 pat smear was also the original guitarist for one of the legendary punk rock/hardcore punk bands the germs! he is a badass guitar player!!!!!!!
I was there - hard to believe it was 16 years ago. Started off with The Breeders, then Cyprus Hill. Pearl Jam was suppose to play, but canceled at the last minute (which fueled more rumors about the so-called rivalry between the 2 bands).
It was the one & only time I saw Nirvana play. It was insane, absolutely amazing. The sound was great & the crowd was small & invite only. I felt lucky to be there. There were quite a few songs that didn't make the broadcast, all those with a woman on cello.
its obvious he killed himself he suffered from depression and wrote about it. And shot himself i hate when people say courtney did it she totally didnt. Even tho she is a slut but people just need to get over him.
i agree with you on that one, courtney love was a bitch, but that depends from which point of view, kurt at one point loved her madly because he could relate to her to a personal level which it was something he was looking for all along, but drugs ruins all as we all know,
I can't believe how hard Dave Grohl hits those drums on this song! Best damn drummer I've ever seen. Too bad he can't write songs as good as Kurt. Every Foo Fighters song sounds the same to me. More Pop than Rock.
you said Dave Grohl doesnt play drums, then i prove you wrong by saying he drums for Them Crooked Vultures and now you say they are shitty and am i serious??
Them Crooked Vultures arnt as good as nirvana but are still pretty good, now your next comment better make sence next time.
DId anyone attend this concert? If you did, can you describe what it was like there? Definitely sounds like one of Nirvana's best live performances ever!
they only put whats popular to our dumb culture in america which is gay so they dont put good music they put whats the most trendy thing so fuck it i come on youtube to find awesome live performances.
My goodness. I ran into a Cypress Hill video that was uploaded from this exact show, and it reminded me all about it. I have the whole thing on VHS, and I was curious to see if Nirvana and The Breeders were also on YouTube. And I find this video in my search! Awesome! Thank you! Don't have to wear my tape down anymore :)
His death was such a waste. But could you really imagine him at age 45 playing TEEN spirit.
