How did you expand the memory of your router? Is this an ugly hack or is the WRT54 meant to be expanded with SD cards? Does the WRT54G have an SD card slot? I have a WRT54GL ver 1.1 and would like to expand its memory too.
I didn't have time to go all the way with configuring kamikaze, so i went with dd-wrt, but wrt54gl is truly a remarkable piece of equipment. 5/5 for the debian (I'm a debian fan)
Interesting stuff I have 2 WRT54GL's both running DD-WRT one for a backup and they work great, They say there a hard to brick router and I so far believe it !
very nice! thank you for sharing :)

I've tried dd-wrt, i've tried tomato, next I have to try debian on my WRT54GL, well i'll try it only when I get a newer N router.

can you still use it as a router like this?

Sure thing! Just like you do it with OpenWRT.
