@Annonymus121 I don't know where you got the notion that you can't slide harmonics on a fretted bass...I do it all the time. Check out any of Victor Wooten's "Amazing Grace" solos..he slides harmonics quite often. All you do is pluck the harmonic as you normally would and then press down quickly as if you're fretting a note and then slide up or down...it's simple.
@Iliketacos091 frets have nothing to do with harmonics. The harmonic doesn't care if the fret is under it or not since it doesn't interact with it anyway lol. To make harmonics pop out like this, he is using the bridge pickup and he is also plucking near the bridge. Boosting the mid frequencies also helps.
Is that an orginal '63 Jazz bass? I didn't know they did lefty versions back then! (Shows my ignorance!) Wonderfully played Yves, you truely are a wonderful musical!
Jaco would be proud ...brutha....

How do you get all those harmonics so perfectly clear? Especially on a fretted bass. Incredible.

My bass teacher Russ Hodges introduced me to your music
and I havent stopped listening since!
Also i was wondering, What kind of bass you used on Jeff Dodds album 'Falling Awake'? I know it said it inside of the album cover but i lost it. : /
Anyway keep up the great work!!!

God, so soulful and perfect... Great, as usual!
And btw, Holy Spirit and Vanishing (by Jean Bauding) are for me the best bass pieces ever written, just to let you know you're a great inspiration ;)
