Bobbie's a bit nozy, she needs to mind her own business. And I hate how she jumps back and forth between liking and hating Laura. Bobbie was a bit hard to read back then.
I was watching some of you compilation videos, Suz and Gosh what a different outlook on them now. All the stuff they went through. Can't wait to get to all the jucier stuff. The scenery at the beach is really bad.
Also look how heavily Luke has been drinking in the recent episodes. This episode has him pouring straight booze at around 8 AM (right after exercise class)! I think as the son of an alchoholic, he turns to booze as the first solution, even back in the beginning. It was really his addiction to Laura that probably kept him from alchoholism until recently! They both have very addictive personalities...
Laura's whole life is all about running away from herself and from real truth. When she has nowhere to run externally, she runs away inside her head! Though in the 2008 story line we're left not knowing for sure whether she knows Scotty's with her on the plane to France, unfortunately I suspect she does, and if she does, then 30 years later she hadn't really changed at all.
Yes jennifer no one but LAURA owns luke. In '08 luke asked laura if she needed him to go to france with her. If she had said yes he would have left tracy behind in a heartbeat. It will ALWAYS be laura for luke & tracy knows it.

I love Scotty's concern for Laura here...I think it accounts for her loyalty to him. He cared about her. In a way, Scotty and Laura were a lot alike. They both wanted to do the right thing for their parents, each other, society. It took Luke's outlaw sensibilities to make Laura realize that treading the straight and narrow may be honorable, but it's not terribly exciting. Weirdly, Scotty went off the rails b/c of Luke, too. Shows what an impact one character can have on a story!
@StephaniePisces Laura was confused for a really long time. Things just do not move quick with her and Luke which is part of why I think they worked. That and there was always so much emotion between them. I think more than Luke's outlaw behavior Laura was attracted to him because he was the first person to treat her like an adult and demand that she face things. Everyone else tried to keep her a child or a china doll. Luke treated her like a real woman.
Really good stuff here! Just wish he could find that same resolve with Tracy, Ethan, and Holly! He was willingly "owned" by Laura - heart and soul, as she was "owned" by Luke!
Think he is supposed to be playing tired and so worn down from life without Laura.That's the way I am seeing it anyway, that he doesn't much care about anything. However this whole thing with Ethan is too weird for me. The concern and look in Luke's eye is only there through the history of the character when he is talking about Laura. So I am not ready to give up the idea that is what Luke is thinking about. Have no idea how it relates to Ethan, but I think TG is showing us a connection. faith

After the ice princess storyline I was working during the day and haven't followed GH since. After reading all the comments about present day GH I think I'll skip it and just enjoy the Luke and Laura storylines you've been posting. Thanks again.

Paige I agree with you Tracy and Luke are like the three stooges minus one there is absolutley no magic between them . Tony and Genie OMG i dont know what the conection is between these two but they have "IT" !!! its so believable
