There are no 100% true figures. The georgian casulties are 168 - 300 dead and wounded soldiers. Seems very realistic to me, because that is more than a tragedy for the georgian armed forces. Russia claims to have lost only 65 soldiers, although, they were massivly bombarded by MLRS systems, aircrafts and heavy long range mobile artillery system like the 2s7-Pion. Fights between georgian and russian companies were very intense. So decide yourself !
