@cxabbo002 Well, when you're playing on national tv and you're a relatively unknown band (which they were at this point) you're bound to be nervous and that comes through in the tempo of the song.

@callmebetty89 I actually just saw them in Kansas City about a week ago and they played this sped up there too. There were a couples songs they played with a faster tempo and they sounded amazing :-)

@cxabbo002 A lot times they have to speed up because they are allotted a certain amount of time on these shows. Better to play the whole song a little bit faster than to have the show cut to commercial halfway through your performance.

These guys are one of the best modern bands out there in my opinion. The point at 1:30 in the song gives me chills every time I listen to it, both the live and studio version.
