  • Pretty ironic that this video has loads of background hiss. Just sayin'

  • Thanks for nothing.

  • best opening ever haha and thanks for the tutorial

  • Thank you! The over quality of the audio is compromised a wee bit. No hiss though! I crank the levels up little and it sounds decent. THANKS!

  • @Skatecareerheaven Relax a little while teaching though. We all know your pro. Your awesome though!

  • It just muffled my audio

  • I have no idea what just happened, you are obviously a pro, just beating away on icons and shit.

  • wow that just ruined my audio while barely dropping the hiss. thanks for wasting my 10 minutes

  • Like a charm.

  • Thank you. It's people like you who help the world go around my friend.

  • umm, im trying to pitch a very short clip, and it ont give me any audio. ive rendered, but the audio just wont work! plz help

  • This was quite helpful for getting rid of some hiss in a video we have. Thanks for the tip - you saved me a lot of time and headache. Good work

  • thanks for wasting 7:25 of my life... i then stopped and proceeded to throw up on the floor

  • @YouLookSwell you just copied the first comment you saw. thats not very creative.

  • thanks for wasting 7:25 of my life... i then stopped and proceeded to throw up on the floor

  • @YouLookSwell Nice!

  • Hi! I tried this with some footage (trying to remove office hum). When I exported to MPEG4, it sounded really tinny and the audio levels were too loud. Do you know why? Would exporting to quicktime make it better? I'd really appreciate your help!

  • thnaks that was good!

  • this is really helpful Parker. Thank you...

  • very nice, I enjoyed this tutorial!

  • Thank you!!!! this tutorial GO!

  • "I did not know who Fred was until somebody told me." No shit.

  • how do u get the videos in the sequence?...any buttons or you just manually do it, also does this matter if you do it? and do you have to render each clip? what happens if not?

  • Thanks, this helped me a lot. But can you turn down the audio of your mouse clicks? Like every time you clicked it was really loud. BUT THANKS FOR THE SETTINGS! Really apprec.

  • Thank you very much. I thought this tutorial was great. I had someone give me footage with hissy audio, and this knocked it down quite a bit, not totally but damn good. And I thought I was good with Final Cut. How do you get all those on-screen effect? Little red circle when you click, color coding your tool bar...neat stuff. Thanks.

  • @huckbone that's all done in my screen-recording app, ScreenFlow

  • your video is 9 minutes long... 3 minutes of unnecessary meddling around in the program, and 3 minutes of narcissistic commentary.

this video should only be 3 minutes.

  • @dafunkystar thanks alot. i like all your real cool videos that are super good

  • @pjnproductions I do have to saw that I actually kinda like the dinking around, haha. I am new at FCP and just some of the stuff you did that may not have been necessary showed me some good little tricks........

Thanks for the great vid! Making TV IDs for my college as a student worker and this really helped with some bad audio I was given!

  • @ThisIsEri yeah, a little muffled but better than nothing!

  • As for changing the pitch,i've never heard a convincing change as from a man's voice to a woman's voice, childs voice, young man's or girl's voice. Is this possible? if so what's the name of the program?

  • This is great, thanks! (Only one suggestion? You might want to present the settings as a graphic within your movie so it's easier for youtubers to input them? Just a suggestion, I like the 'on the fly' nature of this tutorial). Keep it up!

  • Hey, man your video is really useful.

    Thanks.

  • Hey, this was a fantastic tip! And a well made tutorial video. Thank you so much for doing this! - RJ

  • super helpful dude, thanks!

  • thank you, this came in handy... you're a keyboard master... do you have any clips regarding keyboard commands for macbook pros?

  • Cool trick. Thx!

  • Thanks, i copied the audio and it made a huge difference!

  • What's the song that plays in the very beginning?

  • Just a Friend by Biz Markie

  • i copied your video exactly and it made the fuzz worse! :(

  • Yeah its not 100% by any means. Like I said, if you want audio without fuzz, you pretty much have to take care of that during filming

  • @pjnproductions sorry if my comment seemed aggressive.

I wasn't actually in charge of the sound on this project so i'm having to clean it up in post. it's not as bad as it was but i doubt i'll be able to fix it completely :(

  • No no its all good. Just mess with it and you might be able to fix it. Also try Googleing it and you may find something useful.

  • @pjnproductions will do.

ps your tutorials are all very cool :)

  • thanks for all the tuts they help a lot.

  • thanks for this too!

  • great man , very useful.

    thanks.

  • Excellent! I wasn't even aware there were so many audio filters. No one seems to go over them in the books. Thanks!

  • This worked great for me! Thank you so much!

  • thanks

  • its hard to tell the fuzz difference when your video is fuzzy itself

  • Yeah, I thought of that as I was watching it. Just try it, trust me it works

  • really helpful, not too sure when you are explaining the fuzz bit but oh well :)

  • Thanks so much for this tutorial! All of your tutorials are very clear and really helpful! Keep it up! :]
