He had to leave Harken cause it takes a whole turn for someone to escape after moving onto the house. If Harken stayed, Nergal would have caught up to the group and drop a major deuce.
There's got to be a way to get it to have the character leave after hitting the tile. The triggers in Ch. 6 operate in a manner similar to it, so I would assume that those could be adapted so that you would just have to unload the unit once they hit the tile (or something like that since I'm not overly familiar with what commands there are...).
@TheLordGlenn I used the same method as is used for the triggers. However, the character won't leave the map while they're moving (they count as still selected when waiting on a tile triggers an event).
By "a turn back," I mean he could either be set back a few spaces so it would take an extra turn for him to reach your units, or he could arrive on the chapter map a turn or two later than usual.
I'm talking about bigger chapters as well. This one is too small to test any suggestion I made.
Lol. Perhaps you can offer multiple escape points so more units can travel through at the same time, or you can put Nergal "a turn back," so to speak, so everyone has enough time to escape.
I don't hack, so that's pretty much the best I got.
WHY SACRAFICE HARKEN?!
