If that gab is that big, you should change something about the width of the pipe. I dont know the English word for the gab, but it should be 1/3 of the width of the labium. The sound is to much "blowing".

Your comments are valid and I understand them completely but that pipe was only built to show the position of the upper lip in relevance to the note being played. Thank you for commenting.
Thank you for posting. This is very informative. The church organ I play is in desperate need of tuning --to the point where I stopped using the pedals. (and the "technicians" who "service" the organ don't do it) ...so this helps me immensely.
Hi, no apologies needed, we like every part of the videos, i hope you will continue to put up video or even a cd someday! you have so much to offer us, brian foley
that´s amazing, thanks a million for this unvaluable information to create this instruments, i´m fom Mexico and i´m making my organ with the helps of this tutorials, thanks..... :-)
I must commend you for the work that you do. I do not have the paitence for it. Getting the pipes in tune (by the thousands at that). Perfect pitch will drive me up the wall I'll have grey hair at a early age. The gift of perfect pitch won't allow me to do that. lol
That was interesting. Could have done with another tune at the end :-)

Thank you for the videos. I'm gathering information before I commit to building and organ. Your videos are very encouraging.
