@pomekin well it keeps going wrong about every half hour, but now i just crashed my pc so it may be fixed.

a new patch for the game will come soon to try and sort it out ^^ good luck!!

@pomekin well i have yet to check if its fixed, but many say the problem is the 'origin' downloader, so if you find a way to remove it it may be better. when i re-install the sims (only crashed a few days ago so no time yet ^_^") i'll tell you if not installing origin works ^^

Is it a cheat that stops the sim to grow, but the pets gets older? Please tell me :3

@SuperVictoriaG well here's some ways:

- make the sims a vampire (they age to a young adult and then stop - in night life) ; - get a playable ghost (sim) ; if you have generations go into the age-slider, set adult (or any life state) to the longest so they age over a long period of time which is different from the pets (NOT the 'short, medium, epic (etc) slider).

I have a question no one has answered..how many pets can you have per house hold and can you breed large dogs with small dogs. I know it sounds like a stupid question but I am wanting to buy the game and am curious but can't buy it until next month.

@Joserbmartinez Okay, well I'm more of a horse person on The Sims 3, so I don't know about that. Applying my previous knowledge from The Sims 2, I don't think you can, sorry.

And for the amount of pets, the family size still does apply here. So you can mix-and-match sims and pets until the limit of 7 (i think, maybe 8) per family.

@Joserbmartinez i know that you can have at least 5 pets in your household, or at least that's how many i have so far ( 5 cats )

@soccerpinks i looked it up, and i think you can get up to 9 pets, assuming your having one sim. if you have pets and sims, the whole family limit is 10. =3 mix and match!

OH....also....I have noticed people talking about expansion packs....what is that and do you have to have them with the new Sims Pets 3 plus?

@brilliant7777 Okay, by the way sorry for a late reply, and here's my answers:

Expansion pack: If you wish to play any Sims game (1, 2 or 3) like the Sims 3 Pets, you'll need the original base Sims 3 game to play it, or otherwise is no information to expand on (hence the name expansion pack).

Houses in-game: Houses are made through the sim currency of 'Simoleons'. The worth of a Simoleon is about the same as of a dollar.

@brilliant7777 Depending on the people on your selected family and how many people there is, the amount of start-up money you get counts on this. There are also some money cheats like motherlode which gives you 50,000 Simoleons each time you do it (as much as you like).

Pets: If you decide to make a pet in your family originally (you can't make baby animals or sims) then it's completely free. If you decide you want a pet after (you can get baby animals and sims here) then you call services

I have never done a Sims before, but love horse related PC games so have been looking at these reviews to get an idea if I would be interested in buying one. Do you have to earn money or credits to get house, pets and other things?

@BeatleGirl1303 Yup. Are you new to The Sims world (if your not then no offense =D)? Well if you are knew, basically (and this is the PC version so other version's may vary on gameplay) you are like God and you make a family with different looks and personalities, then build/move them into a home and basically play their dream life!

Pets are like having a cute and cuddly sim that can rip up the newspaper. =P Reply if you have any more questions! <3
