  • Love that guy. He would had my vote if I was an american.

    - Jesper, Denmark

  • Your channel rocks, check out mine.. :)

  • Join The Resistance!

  • Ron Paul lied here. The Constitution does NOT require a gold standard. Article I, Section 10 says, "No STATE [emphasis added] shall...make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts..." There is no such restriction on the federal government anywhere in the Constitution. Sadly, Maria Barteromo did not call him on this, perhaps not knowing the facts herself.

  • If Dr Paul was the President he would be Assassinated, So the Elite Shadow of the Talmud Religion has only made time on there side, As always the Belief system in the US has not changed until this BELIEF over LOGIC is an issue you don't have Hope

  • We are at a crisis stage in America and the world, the final clash of two opposing schools of thought: Keynesian and Austrian Economics. The Federal Reserve is a child of Keynesianism, a printing press responsible for weakening free markets, inflating govt and money and the boom/bust cycle. Austrian economists believe in money backed by commodity which RESTRICTS the scope of govt and empowers free market operation. Read 'What Has Government Done to Our Money?' for a clear picture of the Fed.

  • Ron Paul for President 2012!

  • End the Fed, End the IRS, Stop Property Tax and elect Ron Paul!

  • Dr Paul is not our President because of the zombies. Zombies are those people who shuffle to the poles chanting "Republican, Democrat" and push the button next to the name the party leader told them to push. Paul was cheated by the Republican party during the primaries because his was not the name the Zombie overlords told them to pick.

    RON PAUL 2012!!!!

  • @ZOTMAN5 Soinds weird ...but very true!!!

  • His 1st Statement !Whats going on!

  • Remember this!!!!! Yes, End the Fed!! BUT through competitive currencies! It'll take awhile to unravel all the corruption. Also, Most important! Do Not ever, ever, let the U.N. take over with One World Currency!!!! Nor the I.M.F.!! The chatter from the Power Elite's is for the U.N. to take over the Fed's scam!!

  • For every person who rates up a Ron Paul video, there's another vote more for this incredible guy in 2012!

  • I think Ron Paul scares the shit out of the Fed.

  • RON NEEDS TO WRITE A BOOK CALLED "ECONOMICS FOR DUMMIES".

EVEN A BRAIN IMPAIRED DEMOCRAT SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT EXPLANATION.

  • @13AJJONES

Peter Schiff(his economic advisor) wrote that book. It's called How the Economy Grows and Why it Crashes

  • @Voy2378 NOT QUITE THE SAME THING....AND RON HAS BEEN SAYING THE SAME THINGS FOR OVER 30 YEARS...I THINK SCHIFF IS A COLLEGE, NOT AN ADVISOR....I BET HE'S EVEN AN INFLUENCE OF HIS.

  • @Voy2378 BUT I WILL READ THE BOOK...THANX.

    }8 ? )

  • END THE FED and you end the undeclared wars, big government, bailouts and the welfare state. People are tired of being lied to and talked to like peasants.

  • Support the debate between Krugman and Murphy @ the point.com

  • Good Job for Ron Paul for throwing the gauntlet before Paul Krugman!

  • @Nothingizm I believe this is.

  • The reporter actually let him talk!!!

  • =]

    God Bless Ron Paul!!!!

  • there is no congress person that can answer hardball questions like this besides Ron Paul. an honest and smart leader.

  • @stshell lol i know. i like the fact that ron paul can think/speak on his own with no teleprompter. ron paul should switch over as an independent, as people are brainwashed with the republicans vs democrat BS, if he goes independent, it'll keep him out of that BS and gain more popularity.

  • Ron basically says, "Ha, people want to debate me on my views on the Fed? Finally."

  • i would love to see the Austrians debate the Keynesians on a national stage. maybe people will finally wake up and realize that you cant produce economic growth by printing money, if that were the case then Zimbabwe would be the manufacturing mecca of the world

  • @anryth /watch?v=7w2xXOQY-NY

The debate challenge has been issued, Krugman is ignoring it.

  • we need to elect Ron Paul president

    and END THE FED

  • Good job Ron Paul and good job Maria Barteroma for asking good and fair questions.

  • "markets are pretty smart", LOL, does he know there used to be a housing market? Why cant anyone see that the reason the United States' free market economy is successful is because ultimately, its based on a sytem of oversights, and balanced by regulations to avoid bubbles and crashes?

  • @stupidjonny We don't have a free market. There already was "oversight" and "regulation" and it still crashed. The federal reserve is not part of the free market.

  • @3rdEchel0n you are right we dont have a totally free market, the closest we ever came to that was in the late 1920's and it didnt work out so well, there has to be balance so every one can compete and participate, without regulation, there isnt an level playing field, so the markets would be controlled by just a few very rich individuals, kinda like communist china, so I guess if thats what you want go for it!

  • @stupidjonny "the closest we ever came to that was in the late 1920's"

    Nope, wrong.

The Federal Reserve was established in 1913, so the "late 1920s" were no where near a free market. Hoover was actively "stimulating", and that is what caused the crash of 1929.

You should watch "Why haven't you heard of the great depression of 1921?"

    /watch?v=czcUmnsprQI

and "Martin van Buren: What Greatness Really Means"

    /watch?v=rcbAZCaG_Ck

The more you really look, the more you see govt causes the problems.

  • @CurtHowland the "fed" as we know it now has been around since Madison was in office, it was called the Second National Bank back then, then when he was elected, Andrew Jackson actually dismantled it, then a cople of years later there was wild speculation leading to the panic of 1837, im just saying that the american system has always kept a balance, thats why it works, when we shift the balance, things go wrong, at least thats what history shows us.

  • @stupidjonny You're not listening. 1837 was a deflation caused by the Bank of England calling in its loans.

    "im just saying"

Yes, I know you're "just saying", and you are utterly, terribly, and now deliberately, wrong.

The "American System" has caused boom-bust cycles since it was instituted by Hamilton, and the experience of recessions in 1795 and 1819 were, just like 1921 and 1929, caused by the "American System".

    Just like now.

  • @stupidjonny In fact, the "American System" has caused nothing but instability, malinvestment and destruction.

  • @3rdEchel0n A free market can have regulations especialy where exernalities exist. We need government to regulate bankruptcy laws and regulate the administration of government. We are drowning in regulations though.

  • @joepeeler34 Yes, I do agree with that, but enforcing bankruptcy laws is not really what I was referring to when I said regulations, seeing how that word has a more "popular usage" sort of definition now. The laws to enforce bankruptcy and enforce contracts are already on the books, they just need to actually be enforced.

  • @stupidjonny Wow... Fannie and Freddie had tons of oversight but Barny Frank and the others who had the job of oversight forced them to accept the liar loans and other frauds under thier AAA rating is one of the major components that crashed the system. heh... Who's watching the watchmen?

The US free market is successful because it's based on fraud theft and military plunder of oil fields.

  • @russkeller There is no free market in the U.S. We have had a mixed economy with much socialism and corporatism for many decades now. A free market doesn't have fiat money, a Federal Reserve, sbusidies, mandates, public-private parnterships, etc. Calling our economy free market is about as accurate as me identifying this keypad I am typing on as a beachball.

  • @joepeeler34 agreed!

  • @russkeller well try living in China and see if you are any better off.

  • @stupidjonny Choosing between US Fascism and Chinese Communisim? I choose FUCK BOTH!!

  • @stupidjonny Think of the terms "markets" and "free markets" as the nature/force of markets. You can never change their nature, but you can attempt to steer them by implementing regulations and economic interventions. Ultimately, these regulation always have "unintended negative consequences", and the nature of markets is to expel these negative aspects, which means going through a correction. That's when "markets are pretty smart": Markets will correct the frequent mistakes of their regulators.

  • @stupidjonny There is still a housing market. The housing market was a creation of excesssive credit creation by the Fed and govt. subsidies. They took interest rates well below theri natural rates. Free market interest rates would be driven by the supply of savigns and the demand for credit. American's net savings rate for the last 10 years has been close to zero. The real credit to finance all of that borrowing wouldn't have been there absent the Fed.

  • The Federal Reserve make Maria all wet in the nethers.

  • @Nothingizm Ron Paul has 2 official YT channels. The videos on this channel are posted by is congressional staff and is the YT ch. for his congressional office. the 2nd is the channel he used when he was running for president Ronpaul2008dotcom. after the election it wasn't being used but I guess someone in his camp figured out that with over 50,000 subscribers new videos should be continued to be uploaded, so even though it says RP2008 they continue to post new videos to spread truth.

  • Ron Paul a real american hero. i voted for him .and will vote for him again. he is and was the only the only one that addressed the issues that needed addressing."irs your gone , federal reserve your gone. next cia your outta here . and that is just the start. time to stop the corruption at all levels. criminals beware. Ron P:auls coming for you with all the support of the american people!! were taking our country back!! make no misstake about that you scammers and theives.your accountable.

  • @447c1292 I voted for Obama, big mistake. I will definitely vote for Ron Paul if he runs again. He will protect our liberties and our economy!

  • @447c1292

Hey I want him to be a president too, but he , like many others, may change if and when he becomes one.

  • @StopFear If he really cared about power, he wouldn't have stayed in the political wildrness for the last 35 years. He had to wait for the American people to catch up to him. He's not some politician that constantly shifts his positions. He held and still holds many positions that he knows are not popular with the Amercian people. He went up against the entire Republican party establishment in '08 knowing full well that it doomed any chance of him becoming president.

  • @StopFear no way. most politicians are liars who flip flop/change their stories or positions around to gain votes/popularity.

Ron Paul has been consistent in his positions and you can clearly see he cannot be bought out by the corporations/banks like the others. he also does not care what the other congressmen thinks of him.

he is a man who can speak and think on his own, and that's what we need right now. not a coward like Obama who caves in to everything and gets little done.

  • @447c1292 I had the pleasure of voting for Ron Paul twice, once in 1988 and once in 2008.

  • It brings a tear to my eye to see a host who treats RP with the dignity and respect he deserves. Thank you Maria!

  • @brucevdk

There is her and actually many more now. They know viewers like Ron Paul so they do not want to appear like a-holes.

  • It's so funny how these fake republicans and democrats were talking so much shit about this man just a couple years ago. Now they know he's right.

  • @Apocalypse487 No they don't. Most of them are still clueless.

  • @joepeeler34 Yeah, I guess you are right. After hearing many interviews, news casters are the ones with the least amount of knowledge.

  • @Nothingizm This an official YouTube channel, the videos are embedded on his house.gov website.

  • Let the market pick the currency -- words of wisdom.

  • @furyofbongos This really means that individuals get to choose their own favored currencies.

  • @joepeeler34 "individuals get to choose their own favored currencies"

All the Constitution does is allow Congress to define what a "dollar" is, in gold, silver, or both.

Both (bi-metalism) is a mistake, because it assumes static exchange rates. Same thing that brought down Long Term Capital Management.

If Congress defines a "dollar" as 1 oz silver, and leaves it at that, then market exchange will price all other "currencies" in that denomination, just like now.

    Fine by me.

  • @Nothingizm this is. also go look at RonPaul2008dotcom no spaces or changes just look up what i typed. those are the two main ones

  • I understand that the fed needs to end, however, what exactly might happen to the world economy after reform? Will we have a recession while the reform occurs? What should the average citizen expect as consequences? I should probably read Dr. Paul's book.

  • @williafx

Dr Paul Craig Roberts gets into your questions. Not a pretty picture but the longer this is allowed to continue the problems will be so much more worse.

  • @williafx "what exactly might happen to the world economy after reform?"

It's not like lots of other central banks haven't been abolished in history, just look what happened.

Sure it hurt, but if the correction is allowed to happen the liquidation of malinvestment is swift and recovery strong. Like 1819, 1836, 1921.

It is intervention which caused the long-term disasters of 1929-46, 1971-82, and 1999-now.

  • Ron said that chances that he will run in 2012 are 50-50...

I hope that he will run!

  • @Voy2378 absolutely, the world needs Ron Paul

  • @mrdoonbeg I think we are going to get Ron Paul exactly where we need him, with subpoena power over the Federal Reserve!

    ...if they let him live.

  • @Voy2378 He doesn't need to run.

Someone who gets his endorsement needs to run!

  • DOWN WITH THE FED

  • ron paul calls out krugman? oh damn...

i sitll prefer Krugman debate Robert Murphy though.

  • ron paul's the man

  • Now get Peter Schiff on your show. He should have been elected to the US Senate. But this station certainly did not support him...

  • RON PAUL CHALLENGES PAUL KRUGMAN! THIS IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why is Ron Paul not President?

  • @ExhibitMan because the US fucked up

  • @ExhibitMan because people are drinking too much fluoride in their water and they have had way too many vaccines containing mercury. People have no more common sense in this country anymore.

  • @ExhibitMan You are american man, if you cant answer it, there's the problem.

  • @ExhibitMan they are selected not elected by the FED - America can make all the laws they want usually against individuals freedoms. They have all the money = media = resources = Federal Reserve.

  • @ExhibitMan thats the ? of our generation

  • @ExhibitMan cause most americans are dumb sheep

  • @ExhibitMan

    Three big reasons:

1.) He wants to abolish the FED.

    2.) He is anti war.

    3.) Zionists don't like him.

You will see pigs flying before he gets elected.

  • @ExhibitMan Because he is a statesman who believes in the power of ideas and not a dictator who tells people what to do.

  • @ExhibitMan

Why is Ron Paul not President?

Because the Fed did no WANT him to be President!

  • @yakyakyak69

Add Neocons, Paleocons, Social/Religious Conservatives, Liberals and other statists to that list.

  • @chevydriver1123

Yea, Basically ANYONE who HATES the Constitutional Limitations placed on the scope and power of the Federal Gov't LOVES the Fed because Inflation is the most sneaky tax and the best way to screw the taxpayers into paying for Congressional Cronyism to "Special Interests" including "Greens", Unions, Corporations and the Military-Industrial Complex.

Many Progressive traitors WANT to collapse American to redistribute money and jobs overseas for "social justice".

  • @ExhibitMan Because he would be good for us and not big money.

  • @ExhibitMan because he's a dumbass

  • @WKaliberr - "because he's adumbass"

    Let's play!

18 authoritative books on liberty, the Constitution, money, economics.

Delivered 4000 babies as an OBGYN,

Served in Vietnam as a flight surgeon

Served as a Congressman for over 20 years.

Ran track competitively, and was a fantastic Baseball player.

Married to the same woman for 50 years.

Ok, then? He's a dumbass and you couldn't hold his jockstrap.

  • @ExhibitMan Because the presidential election results were rigged!

  • @ExhibitMan he doesnt want to be

  • @ExhibitMan Because Americans are stupid. LOL

  • What a difference from only one year ago. Now when Ron Paul speaks, the media hosts (many of them) are listening and not acting like they know everything. I think they're starting to realize they've been losing their war against reality and now they're just hoping to get some straight answers.

  • @mjhonsun Yes, Ron's committee post in the House guarantees that he gets a lot more media attention. Even if they try to dismiss him, he still wins because his ideas get out there. I rather hope that the media and govt. goes after him hard because that will engender more support for him because no one in his right mind trusts the govt. or its apologists in the media.

  • @mjhonsun This is the kind of respect he got before he ran for President and the pundants were told to ridicule him to make sure he couldn't be elected.

  • @mjhonsun yep, they're tryna regain the public's trust.

  • Dr. Paul is right on.

100 Years is long enough for this private cartel to control us through our money.

  • @kenjams We have been as a country essentially accepted or volunteered into a high tech form of indentured servitude. Substance was taken out of commerce in the United States in 1933, Congress and the Senate mandated that the United States would become the constitutor of all public debt. Does the US constitute your debt, are you volunteering into bankruptcy and servitude ?

  • @xWren

I feel stiff in secret places when i hear him speak...

  • I would pay $40 Pay-Per View to see a Schiff vs Krugman debate...if, the winner got to determine the outcome of the Fed...

Either way...I win...got alot of money transfered to commodities, if the Fed wants to print...print away...

  • She is looking very 80's today. :)

  • 1st :P

We need change we need Ron Paul

  • Long Live King Paul!!!

  • end the fed!
