Yea there was another dancing elephant commercial dancing to a famous song but ugh I've heard the song so many times but I can remember the name of the song, can someone please tell me???
I could have sworn that there was another elephant dancing commercial but it was dancing to a very famous swing tune with drums and trumpets (i guess they are trumps)
Can anyone tell me the name of that song in the video?
Glad to see that the irony of this commercial is also noted by others as well. Can GE really be that ignorant of the history, do they not realize the automatic association that is inherently there? The victor writes the history books again. It may be cute but the world would be so different if Nicola could have had the backing of those that opposed his superior technology. Nicola Tesla was the one with the imagination to bring truly good things to life for the betterment of humanity.

Auerwack, Edison electrocuted MANY animals to try to foward his backward theory promoting DC current. Edison was a tyrant and one of the biggest blowhard frauds this country has ever seen.

@jcmusix1 Edison suggested electricity to execute and animal that was already condemned to death for killing three people. The humane society didn't want "Topsy" hung, so Edison thought that using alternating current was more humane mehtod and euthanized the animal in seconds as opposed to a hanging (which they were not sure would even work). It was the only procudure that was sure to work and kill the animal in the shortest time possible with no pain. A gun to the head was no sure thing.

I saw a real elephant do this dance at the zoo. It was bored, then I took out my iPod and put it on really high max. I showed it some moves, then it tried them! I tried the rest of the dance, sucess!
Even after all these years after that commercial has gone off the air, it's still one that I remember. Love the elephant and the song. It's a perfect ad!
