  • so sick

  • Real smooth stuff, dude! Keep it up!

  • I really appreciate this one.

  • What is the "ballsynt-thing" to the left in the ipad? Sounds awsome!

  • Fantastic Job really fanstastic thats the best video i´ve seen today and one of the best mix i ever heard go on please:-D:-D

  • dayum . . .

  • Release this song?

  • Really well done. Nice work!

  • Can you connect the ipad without using the wifi? For using it on stage it'd be problematic otherwise.. Thanks!

  • @0Jebus0 It's not problematic at all. I never had a problem with this. You have to create an ad-hoc secure wifi network on your computer and connect the iPad into it. That's it.

  • @evenfloyd That sounds great, thanks. I just might get an iPad now after all. :)

  • @evenfloyd Yeah, @0Jebus0 has the same problem i have. When performing live how would you connect the ipad to the laptop. Considering you probably won't have wifi!?

  • @SoundGauge you create an adhoc network on your laptop and you connect your ipad to the laptop through that

  • @0Jebus0 ya man your wireless card can make its own network...any os can do it

  • @evenfloyd care to share you mapping :D?!?!? for both

  • @elixer6x6x6 You don't have this touchOSC template, it will be useless for you.

And mapping for the drums in Ableton (if you have your own Launchpad) are quite easy:

Create a drumrack: go to user 1 and play. If you want the Led feedback: create a midi channel / in the midi channel - midi from: your drummrack - midi to: Launchpad.

    That's it.

  • .......!! fucking good man!!

  • =O...omg...

  • that. is just amazing.

  • Hey very nice vid.

Can U make a Tutorial how you can combine the launchpad with the ipad app, and record everything? Or can you give me a link where i can learn this? Or anybody else?

    Thanks for your response.

    Cheers

  • @TheSeriusly There are plenty of tutorials here on youtube. Make sure to look for things like: TouchOSC, OSCulator, Ableton drums mapping launchpad, launchpad led feedback, and so on.

  • this is absolutly increadble

  • where is the audio from the ipad running to? just built in speakers?

  • @7poppasmurf7 the audio comes from the laptop not from the iPad.

  • @UnbelievableBaZz yep! hexler.net/software/touchosc-android

  • that was awesome :D

  • This is great. Do you use auto quantize while recording or are you robotically perfect with your fingerdrumming?

  • @ronnysoeberg haha! I'm not a drummer or robotically perfect. I'm using the Record Quantization feature. however, I have to admit that I'm playing pretty well :D

  • looks like it is actualy posable to do something with ipads :D

  • @AldaryLV :D

  • also wondering what exactly you used to get that nice repeat effect where it stutters out... for some reason i can't picture the beat repeat being capable of such a awesome sound

  • @kryptonitejesus Ableton Beat repeaters and Effectrix by Sugar Bytes

  • @evenfloyd Awesome man, you work those very well. I just started getting into my Launchpad and Ableton for that matter not even a month ago or so it seems...

  • @kryptonitejesus nice! You're going to really enjoy it.

  • This video is absolutely amazing, I keep replaying it over and over and over and over!

  • Watt app is that!?!?!? =@

  • @castrobro1 TouchOSC

  • star trek looking sheeeit

  • useless vid. i already knew every idiot could play techno music.

  • SICK!! GOOD JOB DUDE!

  • hmm so ipads and macs are better than droids and windows D:

  • Now why am I trying to make a Mackie Control emulator for Reaper in TouchOSC?

    Feeling like :duh:

  • Great Jam session man!

PS how did you get those leds to work ?

  • what is the blinky thing on the left of the iPad in touchOSC and what purpose does it serve?

  • cool

  • i could listen to the first 8 seconds all day.

  • for some reason I find this video kinda sexy :D

  • great job!!

  • I have one word for this video......Pro!!!!

  • Very nice man. So glad I never bought a Lemur. TouchOSC is too good for words

  • @kidkerouac +1

  • DUDE YOU ARE SICK

  • thrills & chills ;)

  • @Sirk0mplex beat repeater ;)

  • @evenfloyd could you further explain this, it would be greatly appreciated. im new to the software :/

  • @evenfloyd i mean about the beat repeater

  • @coldiemoldi There are several Beat Repeaters running in the track. What you would like to know?

  • @evenfloyd are you using the beat repeater to somehow layer the different instruments? or is that not what Sirk0mplex was asking? and if not, then could you explain how to layer the instruments?

  • @coldiemoldi In this video I'm using a mapped effect rack that I made with a bunch of beatrepeaters and other FXs within it.

I put this rack on the following tracks:

    - Drum Track: controlled by one of the horizontal faders.

    - Vocal & GameBoy sounds track: controlled by the three top green buttons and the toggle button (below the faders)

    - Master track: controlled by the three buttons above the red ones.

Is it a bit more clear now? I hope I solved your question.

  • @evenfloyd yea thanks :]

  • Thoroughly enjoyed that !

  • fucking sick !

  • Where did you get this layout? I love it!

  • @MrrSandmann I made it.

  • @emoboi86 yes I did. Thanks!

  • It is just incroyablement amazing !!! Have you got a "myspace" or something to listen to your music ?

  • very nicely done

  • Wow!

Was the mixer at the end a separate app? Is the 'pad talking to your computer over wifi? Bluetooth? Can you please explain the setup in more detail?

    Thanks

  • @steveking5891 the first one is TouchOSC and the second app AC-7 pro. Both are connected via internal wifi network.

TouchOSC with Osculator and AC-7 pro as a Mackie Control.

  • Sick

  • What are the dots set to in TouchOSC? Do you have it set up as a trigger matrix like on the AC-7 or is it just LEDs?

  • @limbikfreq Both, in this case it's only a visual guide of the loop, but you can add push buttons back of leds to trlgger, like launchpad or apc also.

  • Yes.

  • @lopsided75 indeed
