  • "Don't fix it if it ain't broken!" They should have left it as a trilogy rather than adding a fourth movie.

  • I wathed Pt3 before the others. So is my fave now (plus liked 'Sam Neill' back in early eighties lol), he did play a good 'Damien!'

  • I love the first two minutes of this track. So powerfully understated. Just gives me chills up my spine every time I hear it. So grateful Goldsmith's music is so wonderfully preserved.

  • what starts at 4:54 sounds a lot like "The meld" from Star Trek: the Motion Picture

  • I think all Of Jerry's music for this franchise is unique. One soundtrack is not better than the other, yet my personal favorites are the end titles of The Final Conflict and the opening titles of Omen 2. I am also just learning that Jerry did the original score for the movie Legend with Tom Cruise, but only EU versions of the film have his music. Check it out! RIP Jerry, thank for the music.

  • The only thing wrong with the Omen films was they never made Omen IV - Armageddon 2000 or Omen V - Abomination if they had done would have been complete. The 'fourth' film they made was a tv movie disaster

  • I know that movie sucked so bad I cried. Plus they used Julie from V and let's face it she isn't known for her stellar acting.

  • @PumpinTex

Didn't they also come out with the 'official Omen franchise' part four book?

    I hated it.

Hadn't heard of Abomination until right now.

  • @nemvak there is 9 books in the series

    i have them all

been a big fan since the omen (original) but hey is only fiction or is it ?

  • @SuperFallenAngel9 Wikipedia says there were only five books. What are six to nine?

  • @PumpinTex

I agree, I'm currently reading Omen IV and then V next. Already I'm seeing movie potential better than the cheap little girl plot in the TV movie.

  • @PumpinTex yes, it was pretty stupid...but still kinda fun, in a pretty stupid way. :) i enjoyed the demonic/zombie-ish christmas chorus, though. even dreamt of them. that was hott! :)

  • @PumpinTex Those two were interesting books, especially the fourth. I don't know if it would have been more well received, but it would have been a lot better than the TV movie. Where did you get this track, its not on the official soundtrack. This film holds a special place in my heart. Not just because of the soundtrack, but it is set in a lot of the places I grew up in London such as Warwick Avenue, Regents Park and Farringdon.

  • Only ever buy the Varese 'Deluxe' release of the score. The original Varese LP/CD release suffered from very poor recording/mixing of the choir with the orchaestra and is not worth buying no matter how cheap the price is. The 'Deluxe' edition sorted out the original release's problems and added several extra cues. It's available on iTunes.

  • 3:42 - 4:53 is a great moment leading up to the big bang

the opening music in There Will Be Blood strongly resembles the music in this part

  • this was truly the BEST score of the 3 Omen movies; I don't even count the 4th one.

  • i like the abomination part

  • @Tenor5274 well i enjoyed this movie the best. :) sam neill was fabulous...perfectly cast. :)

  • beautiful choir

  • you still have this soundtrack? i wan't download it but i don't can find them. i don't like torrent and can you hosted soundtrack omen 3 and send link to me. ok?

  • I have the original LP to THE FINAL CONFLICT on ebay at the moment going cheap. From seller top.vision.. Goldsmith's music is amazing..

  • Favorite part 4:54 - 6:30. I love this score.

    Jerry Goldsmith is awesome.
