  • wow!!! is great!!!!!!

  • Aleluiaaaa

  • Wow!

  • @cris001kay boo! Are you critiquing the arranger or the choir or are you not open to non-classical interpretations of works you consider sacrosanct? It would be interesting to hear what BonnVoice would do do with this arrangement: technically, beautiful but could you do the soul?

  • @cris001kay OMG you should he the original version of this one. they did okay but the other group did it better. type on the top, Messiah Halleujah Soulful Celebration

  • @cris001kay Fk off and don't listen to it then?

  • @colino72 lol

  • @cris001kay You mad bro?

  • I love this

  • I love this Quincy Jones, black gospel arrangement of the "Hallelujah" chorus!

For the question about drums....the Bible commands us to "praise Him with

tamborines and dancing" (Psalm 150:4) Tamborines are shallow drums with jingles attached. All families of instruments--woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion--are commanded to praise YAHWEH, as are all humans and the entire created order/cosmos! Just read the Psalms--and you'll be dancing, too! :-)

  • just great!!!

  • Aleluiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • The sound is great! Their voices sound absolutely fantastic together.. All i need now is a little spirit!

  • Such a glorious rendition of Hallelujah Chorus. Keep sharing the joy people!

  • this will be the songs they sing when they send the Italians home SILVIO BERLUSCONI

  • Before one can call it gospel alot more feeling needs to be in this, meaning the song should be studied by each and every student. Not necessarily the history of it, but just a natural want to listen to this music daily, because of how much it speaks to you. the movement is too rehearsed, it doesn't look like anyone is enjoying it at all.

  • @456704 if you can see if MSG is (not) enjoying this - you've got fantastic sight!

  • @456704 I have a question. Is their supposed to be drums in holy music? The drums seem to be leading the music

  • @jesussavior1364 I don't have a problem with drums, I feel that though sometimes people take certain instruments, particularly drums and play them out of control. With this however, I think the drums did well, as the word Gospel means "good news", why not try our best to show everyone how much "we" enjoy and truly understand the good news "we" are trying to show others. I mean if someone's really happy about something I'd be able to tell instantaneously.

  • @456704 i hear you. Your looking for the soul in the music

  • you could do better... there are some fancy points but overall.. change your conductor & repertoire--- (I am judging only this piece..).

  • Hi @emodrome, try some more then! Darren, our highly skilled director, arranged a great uptempo version of Go Tell it on the Mountain, that's just been put up.

  • We're always striving to sound better, look better and have a great time while we do that. If you want to join, please visit the choir website, term 1 starts 1 Feb 2011.

  • This is on of my favorite choral songs that I've sung and the audio quality is pretty good too! Also, FIRST!!!
