  • why?????

  • Awesome ! Two of my favourite bands ever !! Pity they never covered Judas Priest ! Peace Ye`All !!

  • magnificent..... as good ... if not better than the sabbath original

  • Good to hear Simon Phillips drumming with Big Country.

  • YES AMAZING COVER

  • WOW! Awesome cover! Looking for like button!

  • Bloody hell! That was good.

  • Superb.Rip Stuart

  • wow...this is fantastic

  • Good version, but nothing touches Ozzy's depth of depression and resignation.

  • @keithfaecorstorphine Ozzy couldnt sing for shit. still cant.

  • @keithfaecorstorphine To be fair, Stuart Adamson could have taught Ozzy a lot about depression and resignation, and he wasn't wasn't faking it!!

  • Ulalá! Nice version!

  • Class!

  • Awesome cover. Big Country could do it all.

  • struck dumn

  • nice mix ?

  • Why didn't they do this stuff 25 hrs ago?!?!? Would've given them so much cred here in the states. These guys were so talented & massively under appreciated

  • another reason to luuuuuuv Big Country !!!

  • Not a laugh. I'm a massive Sabbath fan, but love this cover. Would love to see live video footage. This song is technically way better than the original, but in some ways that makes it less appealing though.

  • "Big Country did a cover of Paranoid? This should be good for a laugh."

    *Clicks video*

    "That's awesome!"

  • Hells bells!!!! What a fantastic cover. Rock on Stuart. x

  • OZZY should be proud of this cover

  • did'nt they did this one as well

  • Big Country are one of greatest bands of all time. Their music sounds as good today as it did 30 years ago. Superb cover !!

  • @theholyfather1 I agree but god that makes me feel old

  • These guys were like the Smithereens, doing awesome covers of well-known songs (besides writing their own hits)

  • holy fucking shit batman!!!...... awesome cover!

  • I......I'm speechless. I never knew this existed, even as a kid who had to deal with Big Country blaring from his sister's room as a kid.

  • This is incredible. Tony Butler - as good as Geezer Butler any day. Nice one lads.

  • WOW!! IS THERE ANY TYPE OF MUSIC THIS BAND CANT PLAY!!! AMAZING......

  • Big Country proves they could play anything!

  • I thought they play a country version

  • @wardadams Quick, change it to "Scottish lilt" before the hardcore fans get you! lol

  • @surfdigby Done. Shit, I thought they were irish!

  • @surfdigby

The biggest laugh is that none of the band - including Stuart - were born in Scotland.

  • @MrDaveW2010 Why is it a laugh? Because he was born in Manchester makes him a Manc? Both his parents are Scottish! My best pal was born in Singapore, his Father was there with the RAF....does that make him Singaporean? Stuart Adamson is as Scottish as they come...or at least he was!

  • @thegrumpyloyal

You are taking my comment waaaaaayyyyyyy toooo seriously. It was posted in jest. I know Stu did most of his growing up years in Scotland. Doesnt matter where he or the other guys in band were born, they were a fantastic band.

  • An absolutely magnificent cover of a classic track. I hope Ozzy and the lads like this too.

  • big country make rubbish songs great (=

  • Another class cover is their version of The Beatles' Eleanor Rigby.

  • Certainly one of the best covers I've ever heard.

  • Big Country? BEST BAND THERE'S EVER BEEN by a country mile - forgive the pun!!

  • mongul Ozzy neva sounded as good as Stuartie boy, gone yirself man, R.I.P

  • Doesnt work...Big Country were too good for this shite!

  • Simon Phillips plays drums on this track - quality.

  • I once stated that Big Country sounds a lot like Thin Lizzy, Genesis and Black Sabbath. At that time I wasn't aware of this cover. Listen to "Where the Rose is Sown" - reminds of "Paranoid".

  • great cover

  • Great version -ROCK ON !!!!!! .

  • i love the way stuart adamson used to change his voice for the covers, check out "dont fear the reaper" for another great example.

  • UNDER COVER by Big Country - the most underated album ever. The best covers album EVER! BUY IT if you can find a copy. I've worn out one cd, been playing this for years. F BRILLIANT.
