Futuristic Grunge Text Effect | Photoshop CS5 Tutorial

Barely half of the options show up for me when I create the layer effects on the text. Most of them are grayed out... Why? :(

@Iminembadboy Well, you do have them, you just need to get to them =P for the Ellipse Tool, click and hold on the Rectangle Tool until a side-menu pops up. Then move your mouse over and down to the Ellipse Tool and let go =)

@MuslimGamingAndGFX It's rather straightforward actually! Just import the video you want to use and drag it to the timeline. Then just above the timeline on the left there's a tab called "zoom-n-pan". Click it, and go from there =)

just a question but why do you all ways work with a internet resolution (72)? why not a higher resolution like print (200)?

@sn1pedyou Because most everything I work with is just for digital purposes. If I were designing something that was actually meant for print, ex. a poster or a banner, then I would work with a ppi of 200 or 300 =)

@MrZro666 It can, but you either have to deal with the fact that the bar doesn't match the curve of the letter, or transform the bar to flow with the curve.
