  • Hey! I remember that day! Awesome haha

  • great another 10 year old who can kick my ass!

  • Damn the kid is so young and is already getting the concept of inverted guard. That's great

  • wow that was awsome

  • not to criticize ryan, i love his triangle and i look up to him, but i dont think its a good idea to teach kids so young, these advanced, inverted guard n stuff...cuz this is going to be their natural reaction when they get in a fight (im assuming they may) and i dont think its very effective, however it is very effective in sport jiujitsu

  • This is sport Jiujitsu. It's nothing to do with protecting yourself in a real fight.

It's a neat entrance to a triangle, though.

  • @MrPotatoesLatkie I'm sure he could handle himself against some joe in a street fight

  • very nice tech

  • when did he start bjj and how old is he now? are u gonna like get him boxing lessons?

  • @iliketopetdolphins He was 10 on this video (Ronan 57). See Ronan 78 or 79 for boxing and MMA training videos.

  • ronan is gaelic for "little seal".

  • Correct

  • wow ryans very good at teaching kids

  • sneaky meanuver into triangle

  • Brazilian Jujitsu

  • what is this sport?

    or what is BJJ?

  • @Furu4392 It's a grappling sport and the purpose is to make your opponent give up by bending one of his joints the wrong way, or choking him and these are called submissions. But you tap your hand when you know you can't escape one of those submissions and then the match is over. So it's very safe, fun (like chess), and you learn self defense.

  • MMA and Brazilian jiu jitsu

  • @Furu4392

    its called Brazilian Ju Jitsu

its the the art of sumbissioning

they train you to fight a person without having to through a single punch

you hold a person in a certain way to make them give up and if they don't o well it hurts them in the end

  • its throw... and in a real street fight, throwing punches is a good way to end a fight even when using BJJ

  • this is fantastic, great job

  • Where was this video taken? I notice the kid's shirt - but this isn't Mass BJJ. Thanks for the video!

  • In Sudbury Ma. at a seminar Ryan did for the AGC. Ronan asked a question and was rewarded with a short private lesson.

  • Great teaching skills

  • good~!!!!

  • Nice vid!

  • Good work
