What is interesting is I was sitting listening to a random radio station one night and all of a sudden this song came on...only it was NOT this song, it was Jun Miyake's "Giraffe in Green"...and the style, phrases and everything are completely alike!!! 97% of the song is the same!! I almost fell over. It was beautiful and of course I immediately thought of Katamari. You can hear a snippet on iTunes. The only difference is probably the BPM of the songs. The Katamari version is much much faster!

Sorry for the misleading tags. It may have been omitted from the "We Love Katamari" soundtrack. However, this track can be heard in the actual game. If memory serves me right, you can listen to it in the item collection screen. There's another album "Katamari Original Soundtrack Damacy" that does contain this track, if you're interested.

@Willy256 it's probably from the original katamari Damacy instead of We <3 Katamari. I never saw it on that album, but I'm pretty sure it's on the first one. and it is the menu song for not only We <3 Katamari, but Beautiful Katamari and the iPod touch versions too. :)

If you search by title, you can find what you are looking for much faster. With Katamari in particular, the song titles are listed in the music section. Granted, name changes can occur with localization.

In the North American release of the game, the in-game title of the track is "Meadowtronic". It's not uncommon for a localized version of a game to modify names and other content due to awkward translation or social taboos (real or percieved).
