inline and ice are the same. in inline though your on skates and the clock doesnt stop. there is no icing or offsides.

Ice Hockey > Roller Hockey * 100. I started playing roller to get into the sport as a kid. I learned how to play ice. I came back to roller and got penalties for clean defensive plays. I gave away my roller blades and will never skate again on dry land! Roller hockey is the only sport that frustrates me that much.

Also the fact the many of the german players are as far as i know play (or have played) at an elite level Hardly any of those cannucks are playing elite hockey. Swedes always win this tourny cos they send a bunch of eliteserien ice hockey players mixed in with a few allsvenskan/Div1 players. Also inline hockey is non existant in Canada. Its considered a summer activity and all the kids wanna be outside playing other sports, so its hard to get people interested. Only ice hockey matters in Canada
