  • That is WONDERFUL; plea post some more on YouTube!

  • good smooth job, i played mine too fast and get distinct notes on all,

    dan

  • great job mate-I'm pretty much doing the same stuff a this myself these days--a real nice authentic feel to your playing--and as Patrick himself is quick to point out in his videos and in forum posts --cripple creek is all about improvising --there is so many things you can do within the basic framework of the tune--keep on frailing man

  • Nice, but if you watch Patrick's video, you will see that the technique doesn't involve opening your hand... It takes speed out of you...

Another great thing to do is to slap the head while doing the strum. That's how Patrick does it...

    Cheers

  • Thanks, I've been playing for a year, frailing for about six months - thanks to Patrick. That's a great book, as well as, "A Book of Five Strings."

  • Very Nice! Can you show me how? LOL

  • Nice job.....I have a heck of a time singing and playing claw. Keep it up. Larry
