Excellent footage! Perito is a famous glacier in Argentina(Patagonia). It's an incredible place to visit. The boardwalk begins at the top of the face of this mountain and continues down. At the bottom of the screen is the lowest point. If everyone is quiet, you can hear the cracking of the glacier up the mountain till it pushes the front part of the ice into the water. Magical and breathtaking at the same time. Visit Patagonia. Spanish and English are spoken here.
"Evidence is accumulating that ice velocities and calving rates tend to increase when more water is supplied to a glaciers drainage system. More surface melting leads to increased sliding and calving which leads to surface lowering which leads to more surface calving." - Working Group On Arctic Glaciology (International Arctic Science Committee IASC)
genial caida!!!!!!niceee crak!!!! it was a big piece of ice! fue una enorme pieza de hielo!!!!
me encanto! amaizing!!!! Moreno if you want to know more it was the first explorer of the patagonian zone! thanks to him argentina is argentina with is actual limits, he mark the border line betwen argentina and chile!
its spanish from spain, the people talking have an accent from madrid..what they say is " lol!! oh my god!! amazing!! see..see how the ice is up from the end of water"
Aren't calving glaciers amazing? The sounds they make and everything. The best footage I've ever seen is in a DVD called "Alaska, The Tracy Arm Experience", which can be found on Film Baby. It's available for download. Check it out! It has VERY RARE calving events.
If you want to see calving glaciers, check out this. It has a lot!

You're absolutely right. I was wearing merino while filming Moreno, too, as it happens.
Title corrected; sorry about that!
