Yeah, and Bill is more on point politically than those guys. Don't get me wrong, Carlin is hands down the greatest comedian of all time, but he and Hicks used broader strokes politically. Maher is extremely specific, which is refreshing.

If there's a topic he's not covering, it's because he's either overlooked it or he honestly doesn't consider it a real issue, like the 9/11 truth movement -- something I think Bill Hicks would have been more into. If there's one thing you count on Maher never to do, it's hold back his opinion.

I disagree that commissions are useless. In fact, about the only way Congress seems to get anything done is with a Bi-Partisan commission in order to take the petty partisan politics out of the issue.

The 911 Commission worked well and so did the BRAC Commission in the 90s when we effectively downsized the military by 1/3.
