I agree, CGI makes the entire scene less believable when compared to animatronics and prosthetics.

It's actually kinda weird that movies from the 80's have gore scenes that are so much more disturbing and graphic than today's.

I think 5, 7, 9, and X are just charming movies. Not necessarily in the same way as 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6. But they're fun. 8 just fucking sucks dick though.

@stuarachel i AGREE WITH YOU ON THE CLASSICS,BUT i DISAGREE WITH YOU ON THE REST LOL.I liked everyone one of them except Manhattan but even that had a great part.When he knocks that black dude head off on the building lol.Other than that it sucked.The acting in all of them is mediocre at best in part 8 it was exceptionally bad.For what it was worth I really liked Jason vs freddy.You could tell the director ronny yu tried to make a good film and not just throw shit together for a buck.

Got to meet Tom in Pittsburgh, a cool guy and Friday the 13th scared the daylights outta me. Near Penn State, there's a place called Stone Valley and it's a spitting image of Crystal Lake - cabins, lake, beach. We stopped there on a week long bike tour in high school. At 2am, all of the sudden their bathroom looked like one from the movie, I ran back to the tent!!

Thanks Tom for the scare. That and my girlfriend laughing at me cause I was cool thru the movie and at the end "I" was screaming!!
