WHO CARES ABOUT THAT CLOWN?!? Vienna? Scheiss Kindergarten!

who caaaares about that fag? that name didnt came up in my mind the last 2 years, thx for remembering! jeeeez...

  • and i always thought 2pac is the most skilled MC... -,- (irony)

  • @imtheFreshest that is what they want you to think instead of thinking for yourself...remember you always have an opinion as well as a choice

  • @YungMalThaKid

    ...

That was the joke? You guys dont even see irony anymore if I sign it with a "irony"-sign? ^^

  • @imtheFreshest seems more like sarcasm but sarcasm and irony are two different things

  • @YungMalThaKid

imagine, thats why there are 2 expressions for it. Still they are preeetty close. Cynicism is the 3 of the familiy btw.

I get you tho. You thought, the irony is that we adore Rakim... Just make up a few thoughts next time, take a look at the commentators channel and you ll be fine.

    pz

  • One of the greatest mc's ever simply a God of the mic...thank you Rakim for helping to create hip hop!

  • God said: "let there be Hip-Hop", then there was Rakim!!!

  • real shit, the realest!!!!!

  • this song made just made me a fan of rakim!!!

  • Rakim looks scary!! sometimes!! :P

  • The Source messed up back in 97. 'The 18th Letter' is a 5 mic classic!

  • Here's a dictionary, now you can appreciate this track to its fullest.

  • Rakim is the reason why some artists rhyme so complicated nowadays! He moved Hip Hop from the dark ages into a renaissance. Not enough people know he is a pioneer in the game!! Listen to Eric B. Is President then listen to their album Paid in Full, he was way ahead of anythin' that had come from the time the Sugarhill Gang came out with Rapper's Delight in '79, until he hit the scene. Even then it took a good decade or so for people to start utilizin' his delivery, complexity & flow!!

  • @KindredKunoichi hes a lyrical son of kool g rap. he flipped it to some knowledge and kool g rap was on some hustling shit in the early 80's. he gave birth to that style of flippin your rhymes.he was also ahead of his time as far as talking about hustling.start at because im fly and check the resume

  • @KindredKunoichi co sign that real talk

  • im so fucking baked i typed in rakim instead of raekwon

that was the best mistake of my life

  • @racso408 lmao

  • pete rock!!!

  • 60.628 that sums up where up hip hop has gone, insulting.

  • Hip-Hop Heavyweights (NO ORDER)

Rakim, KRS-One, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane

  • @McLovinMcNugget You miss Bizarre, lol no i'm kiddin..

  • Who disliked?

  • @KrfNYC2 Had to have been Hellen Keller

  • @SixShottaJ Why Hellen Keller?

  • @TheShoobre she's def lol

  • @SixShottaJ or lil wayne lol

  • @SixShottaJ the other was soulja boy lol

  • @KrfNYC2 tupac's soul.

  • @NotoriousDrn HA!

  • Rakim is the best ever but sometimes i feel that it is very unfair to slag off all the rappers in today's game. there are some pretty nice rappers out there. they obviously cannot be as good as tupac , biggie and rakim and co. but they doing all right. stop calling for a return to the golden age cuz there probably will NEVER be a return to that age. they were just too good and will never be duplicated by anyone else IMO. there are good rappers out there you just need to find them.

  • 00:48_

If I get sloppy and sin, then my prophecy ends....that's tough(real)

  • This song makes me cry and shows me how bad of year I've been having. Sort of like how Rakim was having problems in this album. That's how meaningful this hip hop is.

  • Im droppin hip-hop in dis/ and when da topic is topic-less/ then Im written the apocalypse! I SHAKE MY HEAD IN LITERAL DISGUST TO KNOW THIS TRASH TODAY DO NOT SEEK TO SIT AT THIS MAN'S FEET...

  • good ! i'm from france and i like the old hip hop song like az, rakim, mobb deep, big pun, big l , wu tang , they mans have a god punchlines . i don' t speak very good english so answer me in french language or english ....

  • These songs should be remastered. He should get better beats. Too bad he fucked the combo with dre ...

  • @cocytusdrone man what the hell u talkin about? i love oldschool beats like this one..pete rock is a beast...

  • who had YOU trippin' on this album? they repretsent with lyrical negligense

  • who had YOU trippin' on this album?

  • If i had to pick my favoriter overall rap/hiphop artist Nas would have to be my favorite with rakim up there in the top 5 but as for mainstream (or atleast hes main stream now) lupe fiasco is my overall favorite artist.

  • this song is one of the reasons why i quote and mention Rakim so much-how many ppl do u know can rhyme telekinesis???

  • @CarsRapTrack Eminem-Infinite

My thesis'll smash a stereo to pieces/ My acapella releases,/ classic masterpieces through TELEKENISIS/ that eases you mentally, gently, sentimentally, instrumentally/ with entity, dementedly meant to be Infinite

  • @Hakarugan1 Great Observation lol

  • @CarsRapTrack Eminem has rhymed it in one of his earliest songs from his first album

  • @wolverine668 true true Em has my respect-but my comment mostly refers to those who believe they rap untouched and are unstoppable but never use words similiar to words Rakim or Em use.

  • @wolverine668 i had just stated that....=(

  • ahaha this shits crazy

  • Nothin beats original. Young cats need to remember that.

  • Incredible... speechless.

  • Tha God MC....................is NOT Jayhova

  • Holy shit he damn sure ain't no joke

  • rakim's new album seventh seal was hot but this shyt here was a dam classic!!

  • Bean head

  • Flawless, utterly flawless

  • Such a dope rapper and he's STILL doin it!

  • the god said " my never ending epic got the world spinnin hectic, I quickly spread it till the whole city's infected......suspense that I supply intensify, then commence as my daily events go by" that's a jewel dropped right there. to me that's one of the illest verses in hip hop history B..... but too rakemet that's just a drop in the bucket when it comes too the many he spit

  • never gets old

  • The GODMC...

  • "the legacy lives let em' see what the pedigree is

mega thesis, blessin these kids with extra features

the depth is deep as the deepest sea is

    telepathy increases melody get speakers-telekinesis"-DAMN

  • Rakim on a Pete Rock beat is just an eargasm...

Rakim was sooooooooo ill back in the dayz i'm disapointed by his new LP but I hope he'll come back!! Soon i'll see him live in Paris :)

  • you can tell he has a passion for his craft

  • Comment removed

  • Love this track but THE 18TH LETTER ALWAYS AND FOREVER is actually somehow better than this i think it might be the greatest lyrics ever written in that song go check it out if u havent already it needs some views.

  • I've been seeing alot of comments on Eminem and usually i wouldnt even get involved but i have to. Somebody said Rakim rapped like Eminem did on his album infinite first of all NO NO NO. Eminem rapped like Rakim because Rakim came befor Em and Eminem rapped more like Nas on that album anyways. Point is that Eminem wouldnt be who he is without Rakim. Nas wouldnt either... BTW i am a HUGE eminem fan and nas fan so im not hating im just stating facts.

  • SMOOTHEST LYRICIST EVER... His flow is crazy and he was the 1st to master Interhymes and flow all at the same time and his rhyme schemes are insane even in his hooks without him some of my favorite rappers wouldnt exsist.

  • Haunting production by pete rock

  • i cant belive someone raps that good

  • this is some dope shyt but rakim is'nt the first. how many of y'all remember T LA

ROCK but rakim did it better

  • so when you research, check it, hear go the evidence

they represent with lyrical negligence for presidents...

whooaa...correct me if i'm wrong but this joint is a lil over ten years old yet he still revealed 99.9% of these rappers today!!! the man is straight futuristic!!!

  • you get involved in this, paragraphologist, narratin novelist

market this, sound marvelous, i'm the star in this

which means the author's authentic, most definite

    every episode's an epidemic...

pay attention, new jacks! this is true wordsmanship at its finest!

  • no stoppin this, i'm droppin this with hip hop in this

and when the topic is topicless then i'm writin the apocalypse-damn!!!

please tell me the last time one of these popular mainstream rappers wrote something that HOT?!? eminem? wayne? jay z? i'll wait....

  • @kaoss0515 That is one of the coldest verses ever..period. The other one is..."the names have changed but the game remains the same, how one came to reign on his claim to fame." That verse is the coldest verse I've ever heard. Most of the other rappers try to use catchy phrases but they don't have that lasting effect like Rakim's verses..He drops knowledge, battle lyrics and tells a story all in the same verse and they make you think about what he just said...Now thats real skill.

  • is it just me or does this albums cover look at u everywhere u go?=(

  • @RELAPSERR it does haha

  • @RELAPSERR rakim always had an eye out on you guys to see if you buy or download shit

  • the saga begins, my eyes are the photography lens-damn! from the opening words rakim sets the mic on fire! do the knowledge, this is true hip hop @ the fullest!

  • I'm surprised how versatile Pete Rock is, he's done some great horrorcore beats.

  • Rakim is my biggest inspiration on this music bizz

  • the creator of internal rhymin right here...first dude to get lyrically deep wit it for real thats why hes the God mc....

  • stop mentioning wayne on ever song, its an insult to rakim

  • Pete Rock is so dope...J Dilla had no choice but be influenced by this great producer.

  • so dope!!!!! lloyd banks hfm2 nov 22

  • what alot of people dont know about this album is that there is no parental advisory. Rakim didnt say one curse word or say the word Nigga once throughout this whole album. he doesnt really need to either. His vocab is so extensive. The only other Emcee ill put up with rakim is KRS. and thats on a totally different level between knowledge and straight ass whippin lyricism.

  • @briank1ne Kool G too

  • @sheemsheem ok kool g too :) i like me some kool g thats fo sho.

  • @briank1ne I been telling folks this for years to check for his lyrics and you will find, he barely if ever curses when spittin lyrics. Just shows you can be a man and you don't have to grand stand or shock to be respected.

    Peace is Already Out.

  • dayyyyymmmmm strait!!!

  • @briank1ne ayo wut about nas, he dosent compare but I would say he could hold his own

  • @get2thechawpa Nas is def up there. just look at it this way. Nas's fav rapper is rakim and he also did a biography about rakim on one of his albums.

  • @briank1ne ik ik and i admit rakim is the best rapper of all time but nas is my fav

  • @briank1ne Word Man,Respect

  • Comment removed

  • @briank1ne

I KNOW and I SWEAR TO ALLAH(swt) I didn't even notice it had no cursing until I actually realized like a week later.

  • @briank1ne Rakim only made one album, called the master, with a parental advisory. that always has been a part of his wise style, which is probaly the most unique between higher visions of pac or krs one

  • @briank1ne Don't forget about Kool G Rap

  • it's mobb depp says " saga beggins

  • Eminem sucks

he became an illuminati puppet and coverted all of his music to trash

  • "They represent with lyrical negligence for presidents"

  • that apocalypse bar will forever get me lol

  • dope son

  • The Best Rapper Ever. Hands Down. Period

  • @mrpower328 blee dat

  • @mrpower328 no doubt one of the greats and no doubt one of the strongest influences on the greats that came after him

  • The oldest known Rakim song u can find will outshine any song u get from the new school on lyrical coposition, word play and delivery!!! youngstas step your game up!!!

  • I used to write lyrics myself and imma tel you Rakim is a bad mutha fucka!

  • this one made me doubt if ra is human o rNot,the quistion gotta be no,god damn hes flow on this one is just too much, ,Telapathese increases melodies get speakers, telekenises, that isnt normal.shit like that got me sayin aint no dead or alive rapper touchin rakim

  • Pete Rock and Rakim nice collaberation!

  • dnt be crazy son!!!!!!never compare the master wiv one album sell out!!!!U GOT IT!!!!!!!!

  • The lyrics sound like some deep philosophical religious shit but all Rakim is doing is praising his microphone skills... thats double layered genius!

  • The man is a genius!! Never, ever relied on bling, guns, tits, or cars to enhance his work. When my daughter grows up and asks her father why he listened to "Hip Hop" I shall play her this track along with all the other "true" lyricists. It is not "Rap" but "Hip Hop"

  • @Dulux2 word!!!!!

  • 25,000? Man what's the world comin to?

  • "when the topic is topicless then i'm writin thee apocolypse"

damn rakim you need to teach these youngsters a lesson bout hip hop

  • "So all hail the honorable, microphone phenomenal

Persona is unbombable?, trust me son

I continue like a saga do, bringin you the drama to

allow you that the chronicle has just begun"-DAMN

  • @CarsRapTrack you couldn´t have said it better. Damn!

  • @buduiza lol thank u

  • Soul Brother #1 Pete Rock & Rakim Allah. Amazing. I miss hip hop like this.

  • WOW... THE ANSWER!!!!!

  • this vocals at 1st seconds remind me of subway surfin by ra and talib

  • i think when this song plays all the world rapers should be somethin else not rappers for 4 minuts and 22 seconds.

  • Rakim and Pete Rock, two of the greatest at what they do. Can't fuck wit that... By the way, why do people always mention Eminem on hip-hop vids? He's great, but people need to realize that dude is NOT God, and hop off his dick quick...

  • pete rock is to f*cking ill

  • @minhasc Totally agree with your comments my friend never liked emminem he started out as a gimmick rakim never sold out he kept his faith the 5% NATION in front of him

  • Mr seriuous hip hop. GOD

  • Comment removed

  • ALL HAIL THE HONERABLE!!!

  • "Still say a rhyme after the next one" :DDD great !!!

  • The boy wonder on the beat

  • @minhasc That was my brother putting that shit yo. Biggie is the greatest Mc. Em is in the top 5 to me tho

  • Yo, the legacy lives, let em see what the pedigree is

Mega-thesis, blessin these kids with extra features

The depth's deep as, the deepest sea is

    Telepathy increases melody gets speakers,telekinesis

god damn,Rakim isnt human, its now official,,it aint no coincedent hes name is the god rakim

  • "No stoppin this I'm droppin this with hip-hop in this

And when the topic is topicless, then I'm writing the apocalypse"

    Classic!

  • UHHHH!!

  • rakim is fucking goat, this is my joint

  • Rakim was one of those dudes that could just hypnotize you with his flow. It"s incredible. But how did amazing artists like: Rakim, KRS One, Masta Ace,...and groups like Little Brother, and Gang Starr, set the bar so high....only to see it dissapear in the next decade (and a half) with the Lil Wayne's, and Soulja Boy's of the industry? Man, fuck the MAINSTREAM. What day did the "music die"?

  • @Spitfire781

Fantastic sentiments. I believe that true "Hip Hop" has passed away and that the world is a poorer place for it.

  • This is Rakim's greatest work..Too bad he didn't capitalize the way he should've in his earlier works. The 18th Letter personifies his true lyrical gift through production par excellence. We need another 18th Letter, Ra..at least a trilogy..tag team with Primo & Soul Brother #1(They really blessed you on this project)..Let the SAGA re-start!

  • theres a reason rakim is called the god mc...

  • One word for this track, sick.

  • stay tuned

  • PETE IS DOPE.

  • thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa g0d

  • comparin classic rakim shit like this with mainstream is like a insult to hiphop, the god rakim untoucable

  • what a hot fuckn track. easily one of the most-repeated jams you would hear booming in my car back when it came out. seriously: all hail the honorable.

"No stoppin this, I'm droppin this with hip hop in this

And when the topic is topic-less, then i'm writin the Apocalypse"

    lol sick

  • Rakim influenced me alot to become a rapper. any Hip Hop head that doesnt give Rakim his respect is a dumb idiot imo . Rakim was the first to flow over a beat. instead of just reciting basic rhyme bars

  • word up man,and them lil wayn soulja boi dickriders aint acknowledgin that, shit is pathetic

  • fuck yea
