if you have trouble catching bass on any type of body of water. You got to try the banjo minnow. its the bait i go to if the fish dont bite. Its garrunteed to work. NO doubt
Will I be able to cast these with a baitcasting reel? I always have problems casting lighter gear with baitcasters and was wondering if these are heavy enough to cast.
I really appreciate that you guys actually get back to the people who have asked questions on your videos. Not many care and don't bother doing it. Thanks guys really appreciate it.
The other weekend I just put together a stupid purple berkly powerbait, stuck a big hook in it with no sinker... On the second cast, I yank out an 18 1/2" bass... I laughed so hard because I had like 30 more of the bait, and it only cost like 1 buck.. haha
I really suck at plastic worm fishing, and I absolutely verify that the shaky worming technique rocks. I followed the techniques in this videos and others and caught huge bass with shaky worming for the first time on plastics.
Find it funny that whacky worming and shakey worming is still the "new" way to fish bass. I started fishing both of these styles when I was just 12 and 14 years old. I am now 55! so 43 years. should I get a royalty check?
like when u shake the shaky worm all of a sudden it get stuck that when u yank it haha i been using the shaky worm for bass for over 5 month it really works
sometimes it's a tap, sometimes it just feels mushy like a wad of moss, sometimes you will see your line moving. Use flourocarbon line and set the hook when in doubt. flourocarbon will double your sensitivity.
It depends on the fish some just stay in one place and chomp on it and others will bite the bait and swim away tugging on the rod very hard. If a fish tugs lightly i usually give it about 5 seconds until i start reeling it in.
If I only had $15-30 to spend, what lures or soft baits would you guys suggest for purchase? I'm going for mostly bass and panfish. Anything that can catch multiple species actually. Any help?
yeah, kinami baits, these are made by yamamoto.they are less money, but they kick bass, get the cut tail worm 5" grn, pumpkin, and the 4" flash in watermelon red flake . a rapala cd3 or 5 in blk/gold or blue/silver or my fav brn trout. thse 3 lures should cost 18- 20$ total.
if you're really trying to go cheap for a senko-like bait, use either a yumdinger from yum, or the cabelas aquaglow senkos. Cabelas are cheapest, but i prefer yum due to more strikes and you can catch four or five fish on the same worm without changing.
go to like walmart get some 5'' gary yamamoto senko worms in motor oil color and wacky rig it through the middle with a 1/0 red octopus hook, its all i EVER use anymore, its my go to and keep usin all day lure, that catches bass nearly everytime im out
is that bait good cause i buy lots of baits that dont catch fish and is it good when your fishing on the bank with alot of weeds on the bottom and sumtimes it comes up to the top and i dont like to get hung up any tips
my favorite finnesse companies: yamamoto, roboworm and zoom. Top baits from these companys in order of other list:senko, any straight tail robobworm, the zoom 4" lizard. Weightlessly rig the senko wacky style, splitshot the robo, and texas the lizard fish slow use attractant you will get bit
I personally think all the tricks you guys post here are YouTube are Kick Bass(and Walleye,Panfish, etc.) because they provide the info you need to fish it and underwater video showing what the action is of the lures are underwater. Good videos.
Mr. Lindner, how do you feel about berkely power worms? Are they as productive with a light jig setup. I have fished texas and carolina with power worms with some success but my friend who uses a worm similar to the shaky worm outfishes me a lot.

well, to tell you the truth, I have only caught one bass in my life, was down in southern utah, one cast, the lure, something from a co. down there, call "bassmaster?" hit the water and "boom" there she was, I have always been a trout fisherman, mostly love to "throw metal" castmaster is one of the best, and blue fox are awesome
There you have it folks. A tip from a true legend in our sport. Ron Lindner is one of the most influential fishermen to ever step into a boat. Thanks for all your help for fishermen all over the globe Ron.
@hoffsmedia I would like to know, whats the best worm or frog you have ever used? I am currently using YUM 5 inch dingers, they work great texas and carolina rigged. I dont like using the wacky rigs.

thanks!!!
hostage009 4 years ago 4
You'll feel it. It takes experience but you watch your line, it should bow a little as you lower your tip when you're on the bottom.
Thanks for the question and keep practicing, you'll get it.
