Everywhere on youtube, people are arguing petty topics (Justin Beiber sucks seems to be a popular one) and throwing insults back and forth. But on a Beethoven video, people discuss, not argue; politics and other mature topics.
The Ode to Joy (4th movement of Beethoven's 9th) is chopped up here. Very frustrating. Need to listen from beginning to end, because the theme slowly builds throughout. You can't rush it.
I also love how Beethoven could write a masterpiece that smoothly transitions to powerful and overbearing notes to soft and subtle ones, making them all fit together in perfect harmony.
