@Sylevett3 The series revolves around Card Captor Sakura, but it also associates XxxHolic, Chobits, and a few other anime that have been developed by CLAMP. But I do believe that it was Clow Master Reid at that moment, if I remember correctly.
@ArouraSilvereyes Shunraiki is translated into Spring Thunder. I do not know the full meaning behind it, but I do believe the Japanese Cherry Blossom (Sakura) bloom in the Spring and the fate changing battle between the clone and the original is symbolic for the storm that is yet to come.
But to be honest, I think "Shunraiki" sounds a lot better than "Spring Thunder!" ^_^
in the end Fai got back his right eye and magic powers, Syaoran (the real one) paid the price to keep on travelling and Kurogane follows him, Sakura (the real one) stays at Clow Country to not trouble the others, that's as far as i know
I remember the night when I saw the last episode of Shunraiki. I cried and I hoped that it would be a nice ending. And then it ended like it did and I became like cruched and I didn't wanted to realize that is was over. So now, I'm gonna read the manga. But it doesn't work very well '-' all because the ending of Shunraiki. Does anybody know if there's gonna be a continuing like real ending of this anime?
@Kurarayanson I have not heard anything about any additional series to Tsubasa Chronicles since Shunraiki. Just keep looking up periodically to see if there are going to be any more..
But I agree with the ending of Shunraiki... The ending leaves the series in an open stalemate without any real closure to those who do not read the manga. I would REALLY like to see the last epic battle against Fei Wong Reed, but that's not possible if the anime isn't complete... :(
How can the clone be the father of the original does it have a happy ending at least and explaining the weirdness because.......... any way I've watched the ovas and I am dieing for a happy ending but don't want to skip to the last chapters having watched the aninime and the ovas 3 years ago which chapters should I omit?
@giorgosntoulos2 If I remember correctly, the original is the father of the original because there is a major loophole that would repeat events over again. But you have to read all of the chapters because they are completely awesome and necessary to lead up till the end! But if you are a fan of Dexter and following up to season 6, the ending is a bit disappointing and makes you want to know what happens next. But it does have a happy ending unlike the second set of OVAs
@hikeemcdiver To my knowledge... There are only two (26 Episode) series, two OVA series (Shunraiki [2] and Tokyo Revelations [3]), and the movie (Princess from the Land of the Bird Cage).
Your best bet to know the ending of the series is to read the manga. I have read it and it's very mind blowing!
@dart20918 Whats the name of the song? Great video too, but im confused myself. The original is the father of the original? I know there is a loop (read the manga) but still a bit unsure.
@SexynojutsuKiba That's about as clear as it gets... The clone was created to go to different worlds to gather feathers for Sakura and ultimately give Fei Wong Reed the ability to travel dimensions and worlds with the imprints on the clones' bodies. But Shaoran gave one of his eyes as a part of his heart to delay the clone from turning into the puppet he becomes in the OVAs in the chance that he develops a heart of his own.
And the song name is "The Last Song Ever" by Secondhand Serenade.
Why don't they continue the anime after that I mean I know they have xxx Holic but I wanted to watch Tsubasa to the very end and I couldn't find the last episodes I had to read it
ich hab mal ne frage die 2te staffel endet ja mit diesem kampf mit dem vogel aus sakuras federn soll es noch ne 3te staffel geben weil sonst kommt der anime zu keinem ende
@Ranger906 That's the thing though, the OVA Shunraiki ends as an open ended close to the series as it shows Shaoran, Kurogane, and Fai all continuing their journey after they learn that the real Sakura is still alive and is waiting to be saved. If they were to just make one more OVA series to show the final epic battle of the Shaorans, then they could close the series with a closure rather than the 2nd series or Shunraiki.
Wow. That was perfect. It summed up almost the entire series...I'm crying again. I cry every single time I see Syaoran's face when Sakura becomes the petals, and he catches one. I bet he thought "...I did this. She's gone. She's gone and it's my fault." Thank you very much for this.
you made me cry hardcore! seriously! i mean, i love the violence and then the sword fight just ties it all up that, that, that...I just majorly cried!!! So sad. Awzum job!
wow....this video made me reflect on how great this series was....The whole thing was pretty much one big tragedy. With the screwed up worlds and such, but also what the individual characters had to go through. This is truly and amazing series, and it's barely popular at all because the animators fucked up the first 52 episodes an made it look like some kid's show! >:O It had so much potential, maybe it could have been as popular as the Big Three. But funding is always the problem.
@shadowXZ500 they should have started the violence from the very beginning because they bring out Tokyo Revelations and Shunraiki and you know it surpasses it all. it's awzum, great, and sweet, but the violence and everything else would have boosted the shounen part. :) just sayin.
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT EPISODE THIS IS I JUST REALLY WANNA KNOW THE EPISODE WHEN SAKURA GETS STABBED wow i think this is the first time ive seen sakura bleed!
@lightxkairi It was in Tsubasa Shunraiki. The second OVA series that ties up some lost time between Tokyo Revelations and when Sakura's clone is killed. I don't know if they're going to make the final chapters to tie up the end, but if they do, I'll be one of the first to make a movie with it because it would have a lot of epic scenes!
But if you haven't read the manga, then I won't spoil the ending ;) But I will admit that it was a rather sad ending...
It was the last episode from Tsubasa Shunraiki. And Sakura wasn't stabbed by both Syaorans. If you look more carefully you'll see that Hien, meaning clone Syaorans' sword, was the one that actually stabbed her...
Agreed --- beautiful. Thanks for recommending it, Cherry!
I especially love how you show a memory for every time there is a blow during the fight between the Clone and "Real" Syaoran...It was amazing how you portrayed the lyrics with the clips. Amazing, really. Definitely goes on my favourites!
