  • Graffito on the NEW YORK trains...

  • "WHEN THEY GO TO SLEEP TONITE - IM GOING TO ESCAPE" hahahhaha

    RIP BODE

  • Bode's "Schizophrenia" comic book (the skinny side) probably saved my life at some point in the 1970s...and I liked "Benny's Swamp Tours" as well. Thank you for putting this up for old fans and new.

  • He was and forever will be a true original and a Master ahead of his time!!

  • Bless ya Molly! His voicing ability i thought was amazingly entertaining and brilliantly whimsical, his tones and yelps were perfectly humorous and suited for his cast of motley characters which still kept itz adultness much like a dark comedy .His style reminds me of Daws Butler and the similarity to Jim henson is just so much that it drives me to the question of "did they ever meet?" They both inhabited New york around the same time, wonder if they caught any of each others experimental shows?

  • @bebe3175 From what I've seen I'm confident that Vaughn was atleast inspired by Jim.

  • @bebe3175

That's a good question. I do not know if Vaughn ever met Jim Henson.

  • Wonderful, Molly. Thanks for posting this.

  • a very big think you for posting ,,i had shivers all down my spine =]

  • lets get a 3D full length feature

  • @oladitan 3D Bode Broads. the thought alone makes me drool.

  • @oladitan hell nah! this here is mind blowing enough

  • So great to see this.

  • Holy crap. I've been a fan of Vaughn Bode's comics for nearly 30 years and this is the first time I've got to witness one of his cartoon concerts. Gotta say...I'm somewhat disappointed in his character voices. I never once imagined them being this fucking goofy! To me, his characters were always (in my head anyway) much darker and quite gritty, with a slight New York accent. Bit of a let down, but I'm still kinda diggin it.

  • @uriahh33p your affected by Ralph Bakshi's casting in "Wizards". Its actually more along the lines of Mel Blanc and Tex Avery.

  • thank you so much for posting this. i've only imagined for years and years what Vaughn Bode's concerts were like. This surpasses what I had imagined. Thank you again.

  • Incredible!

  • Beautiful work, Molly, I still appreciate to this day when Mark showed me this video back in 1988.

Hope everything works well with the upcoming Cobalt 60 film!

  • Brilliant Bode! Thanks Molly.

  • THANK YOU so much for sharing, Ms.Bode! Truly,no one did it quite like VB. Those strips meant ,and still mean so much to me. It was the attitude...

  • wow i can't believe what i'm seeing!!!!!!!!

  • Molly, Mark, Absolutely the best!!! For some strange reason Vaughn's voices seem to be almost exactly how I imagined them to be while reading the stories. LOL Thanks again for posting them. Its really history for everyone. Mike from Iowa City
