@CaptainSparklez Dude, putting spawners there is way easier than you're making it. Use TooManyItems to place the spawner, and use Risugami's Spawner GUI to change it to skeleton.

PLEASE! read this comment as it WILL help YOU! if you put the monster spawners less than 9 blocks to the point were you kill them there WILL be a spawn limit (because if the skeletons are too close to the spawner (less than 9 blocks) there WILL be a spawn limit) so if you put the spawners and the 'killing point' 9 blocks or further up to 16 max away you will have unlimited spawns

To make a natural zombie/skeleton spawner just make a grinder like your original and turn the spawning pads into 1x2 hall ways using slabs on the floor :P Spiders wont spawn and you actually get more mobs spawning then with an actual spawner :D

also, if you do this i STRONGLY recommend getting a mod called mobaura, which automatically attacks any and every mob within 6 ft. so you can just be idle and it wont get crowded

Rotton flesh for a zombie, spider eye for spider, fermented spider eye for cave spider, bone for skeleton, tnt for creeper, ender pearl for enderman, blaze rod for blaze, cooked pork for zombie pig, raw pork for pig, beef for cow, mushroom for mooshroom, flint and steel for magma cube, slime ball for slime, raw chicken for chicken cooked chicken for wolf...

No, in all honesty you can't craft them.

you can have the water go right to the edge of the drop off and not leave the 1 block with no water. also you don't need a staggered water ladder set, you can use a singe ladder and it works fine.
