Winwood was awesome as a 15 year boy......His voice was the magic that made the Spencer davis Band .......in 64/65/66 I went to every gig I could around their hometown of Birmingham. he never surpassed this early versatility for me ....but is still a genius.

The fact is Winwood is a fecking legend, the big daddy of blue eyed soul, and if you ever went to one of his concerts you would be awe struck. Clapton says this bloke is his hero. That says it all. Now back away from the Winwood.
