Let me say this to you Mike, That I think that both Eva Cassidy and Katie Melua have both tried to pay tribute to Loise Armstrong. The Man who original sang this song. I do not believe that he would be offended by their beauty or respect that they have tried to repay him. To me it's been the rebirth and tribulation that Katie and Eva have given to this song that keeps in in the spot light.

We should be thanking those who really appreciate these great songs!

Katie Melua is coming out with a collection of songs that includes this song but not "Over the Rainbow". There are also a couple of new hit songs including "Two bare feet", which is a upbeat tempo jazz song. If you haven't heard it yet it might be worth listening to. You can find it here on YouTube. I would have rather had a new album than a GH collection. We might have to wait another year for something really new. I love Katie though. I think she's great. I would like to see her in concert!

Nicefrog45 As a fan of both Katie Melua and the late,great Eva Cassidy it is great to hear them 'duetting' once again as I loved their rendition of 'Over The Rainbow' and their voices blend so well together and I know Katie is a great Eva fan. I agree with a letter writer in the January Maverick mag who defended Eva against some rather uncalled for criticism calling her 'tiresome'. Keep doing the duets Katie and I'm sure they will all make No.1.

Lovely song, lovely rendition. Bob Thiele's estate and George David Weiss (the writers of this song) will be pleased, as this song is still in copyright. What a marketing coup too for retail giant Tesco, who have monopolized the sale of this single in the UK, so you can only buy it from them this Christmas.

I know (I know) they are giving all the profits from this single to The British Red Cross but that will pale into insignificance from the money Tesco will reap from your Christmas shopping.
