  • Today I started playing Final Fantasy VII again out of boredom, and just let it run in the train graveyard to listen to this song. I hadn't really given it much notice until today, I realized. I stumbled across your version by pure accident, having found my way here from your rendition of Lost Painting. Serendipity at its finest, as you are a phenomenal musician.

  • 1:08 - mind blown, noglastia hit... amazing harmonics :0

  • very nice

  • Awesome

  • Wow, that harmonic technique is really good.

  • you are a master....

  • still can't believe how fucking good this cover is. incredible guitar player.

  • love this tune...love how you used harmonics and chords to try and cover all the sounds....nice job

  • =)

  • thankyou for keeping FF7 alive

  • I probably commented this video a long time ago, but it is really great. Nice work.

  • one word... AMAZING!!!

  • I love how the middle section of this tune is a variation on the ff prelude song :)

  • @mbarnett358 I'm glad someone else had noticed it. Nobuo does things like this a lot throughout all the music he wrote for FF1-X

  • you are soooo great! I've been watching your videos and I am sooo amazed! perfect! I wish I could play guitar....

  • I have watched pretty much all of your videos; and have learned many of them on guitar. This is, by far, my favorite arrangement of yours. It is truly amazing the amount of work you must put in to create these. Thank you very much for you inspiration.

  • Amazing arrangement. I like this song very much, because it's warm and serene, but anxious at the same time.

  • if i could click the Thumbs Up button 102,395,839,292 times, i would.

  • can someone tab this?

  • @XxMurasamexX most of lonlonjp's stuff if already tabbed just type lonlonjp anxious heart into google

  • @SwanA7X

    nope can't find it

  • mr lolonjo,

    you played this song incredibly.

ff7 is my fav game in the whole world and one of my goals in life is too play this song

please if you can do a visual guitar lesson for this song that would be of most great use and help and i'll love you forever n ever =D

  • Amazing.

  • your amazing at harmonics

  • Wow, really awesome work. Right on with everything

  • I find the best way to hit high pitched harmonics is by instantly pulling the finger directly upwards off the string just before I'm going to pick the string. Low pitch harmonics are easy and can be done lazily.

  • How do you learn to play all of these songs so well...It's phenomenal.

  • amazing as usual.

  • Ahhh I love this song reminds me of snowy moutain tops

  • fuckin awesome

  • わー!メロディもコードも同時にはっきり弾くのは難しいはずなんですね。

    Bravo!

  • amazin

  • the greatest collection of music ever played by one man. thank you

  • This is the best FF song ever. So harmonically dense and yet so rich. Uematsu at his prime.

  • @AlienatedStud agreed. the best song he's ever written. so melancholy brooding and a touch scary

  • great arrangement!

  • great spider technique

  • @nurelkamash haha^^

i would like to be a Spiderman holding a guitar within my arm xD

  • @lonlonjp lmao spiderman! hahaha

  • Wow!! amazing, just amazing!!

  • Nice job;)

  • hey i like the harmonics :D

  • you do an amazing job provoking what is already a masterful soundtrack

  • Your videos are magnificent!

I'm almost getting caught him, what is the secret of the part where you play with the notes too sharp?

    thank you very much ^^

  • oh ok! Thank you very much ^^

  • what is the tuning that you use in this music?

more precisely on the sixth string guitar

congratulations, you play very well! ^^

  • lonlonjp¡¡¡ estás hablando español???

oye ahora toco el piano (el teclado) y quiero aprender esta canción.

  • Obviously the best and the saddest song in FF7. My personal favorite. Well played : )

  • Beautiful stuff brother

  • The question you have to ask, with regards to the whole 'what is harder, classicali guitar or shred guitar' argument is this:

Who would find the following easist: Joe Satriani playing 'Recuerdos de la Alhambra' or Pepe Romero playing 'Satch Boogie'. It seems reasonably clear to me it would be the latter. It's all a bit arbitrary, of course, since music has never been and will never be an exercise in who can play the hardest piece; but as a simply academic debate, it surely has to be classical.

  • lemme guess Niebelhiem theme

  • I have to agree! Playing ff music (and zelda!) is really fun! I love shifting through all your videos, seeing how you added your own touches to the classics, and yet kept them the same.

  • lonlonjp is awesome!

  • I notice all these comments about learning to play metal guitar to start with. I can totally relate, when you start you want to try to be the best you can at guitar and a lot of people see metal and shredding as the best a guitarist can wish to play. Of course metal is a great technical genre of music but after playing guitar for years you realise where the 'real' music is- back in the roots of the acoustic guitar. This music is amazing to listen to- but playing it is even better!

  • I can agree quite a bit there. Playing in a classical style is alot more fun to play, but I think that's because it's easier to learn. I don't know if that's just me but, and remember I 'am' agreeing, hehe, but shredding is alot harder to master and I think that's why it's alot more impressive. I can play both styles but my classical side has come along faster than my shredding. Eventually though you do prefer classical guitar-work, even though shredding still retains a place in your heart.

  • @Glazenburg

I actually disagree, the hardest classical songs are much much harder than shreding. Thats just my opinion though. :)

  • i agree shredding is very hard, i can not do it... but in some aspects classical is harder than electric... most amateur guitarists just have the skill to power chords of millions of songs... still impressive but i have to agree shredding is hard. depending on where u go with classical it canbe awfully hard to, some of lonlonjp's stuff is just crazy and requires such amazing co-ordination of the fingers...

  • I play classical and metal and each genre has it's own difficulties.

  • WOW i can't stop watching your video's you have a great talent.. I'll keep on practicing !! Thankyou

  • It makes me feel sad , but, happy at the same time.

    5 star!

  • Would you please tab out the part with the harmonics? I would be greatful.

  • I just recently discovered you, and I am completely amazed, it truly has made me want to learn more classical music, where I am normally a stubborn metal guitarist

    thank you

  • I feel the same way as you, as a metal guitar player over the years i limited my self.....and to think i stared out with classical guitar classes then quit because it wasnt " Da Br00t4lz"....damn it i regret it

but still this guy kick ass!

  • same here man...

I use to play ACDC, Metallica; but listening to lonlonjp makes me feel there's something rich in classical guitar

  • I dig that dude!

  • Fantastic!

  • You're the man + a half! Awesome playing skills!

  • Oh god he even does harmonics on an acoustic guitar perfectly.

  • @SirSmokeal0t u need to learn the difference between a classical and acoustic guitar =] but u like final fantasy so we're cool lol

  • @marshallrules Semantics. Its an acoustic instrument =P

  • @SirSmokeal0t hahaa fair nuff XD

  • @SirSmokeal0t That, and shape/size, and strings.

  • This is almost unreal. It's so amazing how Lonlon can play so many orchestra parts solo on his guitar.

  • this is amazing! do you have a written tab for this song? this is my favorite track nobuo has ever written!

  • you know... im going through a pretty hard time and when you play this song I feel so much better. its truly beautiful. you have help me with my broken heart... Thank you From Jake

  • that's mean! i gotta learn that...

  • haha... you should^^ i you would like to =)

it's very enjoyable to play this song on solo guitar^^

  • do you have a power tab or a guitar pro tab of it that I could learn from? i can send you my e-mail if you want. I saw your arrangement for Tifa's theme aswell. i managed to figure out how to do the lead parrts but i cant fit the bass parts in aswell...i can only do that for aeris' theme

  • hmm u got a good ear could u reply me by showing me tips how u arrange.. i luv the harmonics part ;D i can play it xD using armonics is fun...

  • Firstly i love this song so much^^

Then play this song very slowly on the gutiar and make it a bit faster... step by step... then you can play it... i hope so... :)

  • awesome!

  • very A-W-E-S-O-M-E i love this song.....

  • Thanks watching this video ^-^

  • amazing, I'm going to try and arrange an orchestral piece for it.

  • OH PLEASE MAKE ONe!

  • Lon, could you arrange "Gold Saucer" theme? Its really a great song, but hard to do with single instruments, but i think you can do it. I really like the song

  • Yeah, you really should! It'd sound great! I'm learning a version right now... it's not great though... Great job as usual Lonlon!

  • Excellent. Just excellent.

  • nice job on the harmonics.

    keeps getting better every video.

    Proper good job mate

  • Thanks my friend^^

  • Then could ya make some tabs of these songs??...Great warrior, anxious heart, tifa's theme, cid's theme, aerith's theme and Yuffie's theme..I know that im asking a bit much, but PLEASE, could you find the time to make em?..All the tabs i find aren't nearly as good as your versions. : )

  • Lonlonjp repeat many times that he wont do any tabs because of copyrights (Square/Nobuo Uematsu).

That's the reason, why I started to learn reading notes - I wonder if I'll be able to do some guitar arrangement of FF7 OST for my own, inspired by Lonlonjp :)

  • Thanks for your kind reply^^

i really appreciate your kindness :)

  • Almost makes me wanna drop Flute and drums, to take up guitar.

    Awesome job. :3

  • thanks lon =]

  • nice, do u figure these songs out without any tab?

  • yes^^ i did not use any guitar tabs at all.

i do not believe there is any guitar tabs of this song... at least i could not find one :)

i think this song is not suitable when you would likt to learn guitar more, because i made use of unusual tuning in the above video.
