@calliexw Interesting. I also stumbled upon one while trimming some vines out of an olive tree... now that was an unpleasant discovery. Thankfully it was still early and they hadn't become active yet and I was able to run for cover.
So what's the connection to spiders and wasps? I saw an article about some wasps controlling spiders, but I'm not sure if that happens in California.
@bowlingballout This was an insanely stupid idea. You don't want a wasps nest near your house? At dusk you spray it. You don't rip it off your home using a pole, then proceed to stomp on it like it's one big fucking game. I don't like being stung anymore than any other person, but common sense, it seems, is a rarity these days. It's the same idea as a little prick kid burning ants with a magnifying glass. I mean..
And yes, cancer and wasps, one in the same.(sarcasm..?)
Good points... thing is, I prefer not to spray needless poisons around my house. Plus, your way wouldn't have made a good video. By being stomped, they died instantly. No suffering until the poison actually were to have done them in.
Let me guess where you come out on capital punishment for humans.
Funny thing is, it is far more humane to put something out of its misery early, IMO, than to let in languish around in misery until it finally succumbs.
They were pretty lazy. It was about 8:30 am on a nice Summer's day. It was on the shady side of the house and they don't get up until it gets warm... that was part of the strategy to avoid being stung.
the wasp left behind on 0:23 was like wtf y u guys leave me bitch

Dude, save it.
Stop anthropomorphizing harmful pests, your life will not be so dour.
I can only imagine the pity you have for poor, defenseless cancer cells that are being irradiated.
