REVIEW | Salon Pro 30 sec Weave Wonder Wrap

Is this like a liquid or lotion? I just need something dry to put on my weave at night when I wrap it without having to use rollers or blow dry.

@Shon9tilR It's more of a gel....a really thick gel, but I wouldn't use as a dry wrap. You would need a wrap lotion or mousse or you could pin curl your hair at night so you don't have to roll it in the morning. HTH.

Ya I was told not to even put anything on weave cuz it will make it greasy. And yes the pin curl helps. Thanx.

I have used both products and the morning glory is the best. When using the salon 30 seconds you have to use the molding gel in order for it to rinse out like the morning glory does. Hope this helps

@sfowlkes215 I totally agree about Morning Glory being the best. I stopped using Wonder Wrap a year ago. The quality of the product was horrible to me, so now I either use Robert's Diamond Bond or Morning Glory. Thanks for watching!!!

What Shampoo were you using? pantene relaxed and natural gets it out really quick for me.

@NaturalDoll4b I use a Sulfate Free Shampoo from Oyin Handmade. Its the type of shampoo that doesnt lather very much. I prefer using that type of shampoo since it doesn't strip my hair of its natural oils.

Hi....the lasttime i used the 30sec my tracks wouldnt stick to it they just peeled right off as i was doing my quickweave....does this usually happen?

@MrsAmj83 It doesn't happen to me. I usually run a blow dryer over the track for about 20-30 secs so that he glue will become tacky. imo that helps the track stayed glued to the wig cap.

I havent had a problem washing it out. I remove it while in a hot shower. Once hair is removed i continue to rinse until my fingers comb through with ease. Then shampoo and condition as usual. Only thing is i dont use that 30sec molding stuff. I just use regular gel to mold it, let it dry and then put the 30 wrap on it.

Hmm.. It maybe the gel that you use. I know some products don't mix well with gel I'm not sure. I'mma try it though.

Yeh i have the same problem with this product. It really is a pain n the @ss. I wonder if its because I leave my weave in longer than usual.usually about 1mo or more. But mines holds up pretty good. Any suggestions on how to remove the sticky film besides washing your hair 20 times?

I found the Robert's Diamond bond in charcoal. It's online only on ebay. Also, the 30 second bond stick to your hair much more because of the amount/concentration of each ingredient. So all of the oils and protective ingredients are a little more concentrated and therefore thicker which makes them a little more difficult to just rinse out. Hope this helps.

I HAD THE SAME RESULT, I LIKE THE GRO-PROTECT MUCH BETTER...

I HAD TO WASH MY HAIR 2-3 TIMES, BUT WHEN I USED GRO PROTECT MY HAIR WASHED OUT VERY EASILY AND IT EVEN WAS SOFTER TOO.

I'M GONNA USE THE 30 SEC UP UNTIL ITS GONE BECAUSE I HAVE THE LARGE BOTTLE BUT AFTER ITS GONE~ IM GOING BACK TO MORNING GLORY OR THE DIAMOND BOND IF I CAN FIND IT IN MY LOCAL BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE...

I love it... I tend to set my hair with gel and spritz first then apply the salon pro next and I havent had any problems rinsing it out but I will be on the look out for the problems that u are having... I bought Salon Pro b/c the Morning Glory was alot more expensive. Thank you for video..... Your Hair is beautiful
