These were the days when television commercials were watchable and you didn't find yourself screaming at the television or switching channel. Plus not EVERY commercial had to have an annoying voice over!!!
I hear that, I pulled my money out of that place when they started catering to the lowest common denominator/dumbed down marketing and god-awful adverts.
This is the shorter version, there was a longer version with the shot of the bed all ruffled sheets etc like he had definitely got lucky. It was the xr3i/wham/next era and the advert was unbelievably stylish

Back in the day when the Halifax was a building society and not part of the f*cked up HBOS and their adverts didn't make you feel physically ill !

The song used in this Halifax advert is 'Easy' by the Commodores. It was also used in the recent 'More Than' commercial.
