I figured out you cant have an ACTIVE mission to make special animals appear (spotted hyenas) i checked during a mission and i thought maybe... so i went back after i finished the mission without accepting another one and they were there!
does the black leopard, pygmy hippo, king cheetah, and the okapi respawn in free mode when you complete the game? Okapis are my number one favorite animals in the whole world
at 2:53 your on a night safari.....but please when does it unlock them?....she always says its too dangerous to be out at night......rest til tomorrow.....i have just done the car in front of waterfall photo and hippos fighting at heroe pool foto......when will be the nights?....

Hey for those that are still checking this video out, there is a guide in the description with a list of the harder to find animals and there location, and down below theres a couple video responses on my new channel, i also have a completed field guide video and another vid showing my complete photo album if you need help with either of those.
Maybe it's because I haven't completed the game yet (just finished big game 13 a few minutes ago) but how do you do those sweeping shots at the start of the vid?
@mollyrulz9999 Its been ages since i played the game, but there was some special camera mode that you can switch spots on the map and just look at it, and one of the cameras would sweep through the area. Sorry i cant be more descriptive, i cant remember the name of that mode, but i think it was at the title screen that you choose it.
@1000LED just by playing the game really, doing the missions and photo'ing all animals in the game. I hate to keep directing people to the ps3 trophy org listed in the description, but that site is extremely useful and shows all trophies for the game and how to get them.
@1000LED im sorry, i guess i dont understand. If your referring to the actual ps3 trophy list that is suppose to generate when you first put the game in, i have no idea how to fix that... you could try deleting the game off your hard drive (not your game saves, just the game itself) and re-installing it. If that doesnt work you could post in that ps3 trophy site and ask them for help. Ive never had that problem.
@Maakasukage its the same for ALL animals on the game, if you go and the animal isnt there and it should be, then most likely you have missed another animal. It doesnt have to be a missed mission, if you dont photo certain animals (even outside of a mission) other animals wont "unlock" and appear yet. I would try to do any missions you havent done 1st, look for any animals you may have missed to photo and then go back to baby warthog. If that still doesnt work you can go on the ps3 trophy forum
@rezzah those are some of the last animals to "unlock", missions dont unlock some of the animals, but taking a photo of something else your missing does. best bet is to figure out what animal(s) your missing besides these and go for that first, the ardvark only appears at night by the way. If you need help figuring out which ones your missing i suggest going to the ps3 trophy site in the description, im sure there forum for this game has a list of the animals and pages they are on. Thx for the help, however 1 hour posting the comment I got platnium. For me the last animal was the Scarab. I always looked for it on the right side of the tree. I found it crawling on the ground by accident at the side of the lense right after I went back to 3rd person view. I should of focused on the darker areas on the left side of the tree in the first place.
@silvercoolkid10 its been a really long time since i played now, but i think theres a lizard on the rock to the right of the little stream leading up to the waterfall that has the elephants and secret bottle shown in the vid. If thats not what you needed i suggest you go to the ps3 trophy site thats noted in the description and ask those guys.

@gillpillandcan if you go to where the eland are..I can't really remember but I think that they were in kiwanja plains.. there u go near simba rock(rock near pond) and there is a tree there that you can climb and wait for the elands..hope this helps
Um dont know if your still playing the game but what I did was use the jeep and made them run into the water of giant rock, then quickly got out of the vehicle and ran up the tree. Sometimes it took some time for them to move into a spot where the tree branches werent in my veiw but it worked out well.
@Sasukekun65 i think i actually remember that one, i believe it was in the little dip in one of the corners of the map, he didnt appear for me until really really late in the game, you may need to do some other missions first before it will appear, everything in that strat guide is correct i believe.
@Zer0tobackdown I finally found him/her.... I had to finish the Oryx at sunset mission before he showed himself now I can't find the adolescent male lions

If they arent there then you may need to find some other animals first before they will appear. Sorry i cant be of more help on that.
Ok if you go to the location and the animal is not there that means you need to do some other missions first. If you dont have any other missions to do that means you have to track down some other animals that you havent photo'ed yet. The game loves to give you a mission when the animal hasnt even spawned on the game yet >.<

@Maakasukage its the same for ALL animals on the game, if you go and the animal isnt there and it should be, then most likely you have missed another animal. It doesnt have to be a missed mission, if you dont photo certain animals (even outside of a mission) other animals wont "unlock" and appear yet. @rezzah those are some of the last animals to "unlock", missions dont unlock some of the animals, but taking a photo of something else your missing does. best bet is to figure out what animal(s) your missing besides these and go for that first, the ardvark only appears at night by the way. If you need help figuring out which ones your missing i suggest going to the ps3 trophy site in the description, im sure there forum for this game has a list of the animals and pages they are on.
