They use it for video editing and capture of those high speed videos, macbooks uses intel processors which lets them do those things faster. I'm a pc fanboy but macbooks are the only good thing that mac makes

In one of the episodes they use Adams MBP and a powerbook side by side. i also remember seeing the white macbook one time

Actually it is because Apple is advertising with product placement. Apple pays to have their products displayed just like coke or any other company.

I wasn't talking about that. I was responding to SomeOne247's comment that in most commercials, shows and movies, the primary computer used is a Mac. And yes I have a PC because I work in an IT environment and a mac can't do what I need in a computer. Macs are only good for photo and video editing. And I am getting one for editing soon.

@jellevarkensgek the myth is that there are products that say they can save you of paying fines for speeding by hidding your plate number using an spray you apply on the plate, the photo will be unreadable, it doesn't seem to work
