Not counting super exotic cars, there are probably only three foriegn brands I really respect and Mercedes-Benz is one of them. The other two are Volvo and Subaru.

bmw is more of engineering perfection, performance at best and quality like no other.

merc is for rich people who is trying to prove a point.

bmw is for rich + driving enthusiasts that wants more out of a car than the bling.

the reason why old people drive mercedes is cause they saved up for years. You wouldnt see a young person driving one unless there parents bought them one, they sell drugs, or they won the lottery. Mercedes is truly a classic brand!

my dad was a civil engineer but he opened up his own furniture store so now he makes 350 plus a year. My dad worked his ass off and eventually made this huge multi-million dollar biz and now he is riding in a beauti 2007 mercedes ml 320 cdi. it just doesn't seem right when you hav a 16 year old driving a merc when they havent really deserved it (money wise) but if your dad is buying you one i guess your lucky. respect

folks, i totally agree with "hardocorefokka" on bmw and audi. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SUCCUMBED TO THOSE BRANDS THAT COST AS MUCH AS MERCEDES BUT SUCK WHEN IT COMES TO QUALITY AND DESIGN. now bmw 1 series is coming out, and guess what.....it's even more expensive than new C-class.
