@vanillainfusion Wow, way to reply to a comment I made a year ago. How is "you need to study the Japanese language" telling someone off? People get so sensitive to the smallest things these days. And my case still stands. The characters do not translate to that spelling, and the Japanese do not have a natural V sound. That may be the anglicized way Tsunku chose to make it, but I nonetheless did not make any incorrect statements.

C-ute never had kanji characters, now did they? Biyuuden, however, did. Another thing is that C-ute is an English word (hence the katakana), and Biyuuden is not. Therefore, you'd spell them appropriately based on the language they came from.

yeah its sad too, but hidden reason is because they're not promoted well enough plus they're nothing more than a fanservice group... but they're not given enough credit for what they're actually good at.
I love this performance but it looks almost lazy compared to the one they did at their 2007 bunny and angel tour. I guess they just get better with time.

You need to study the Japanese language. The three characters translate into romanji as bi yuu den. There's no v or vi sound anywhere in hiragana.
