  • this sets dog training back 20 years!!! these collars are outlawed in some countries, and for good reason. only a trainer who does not understand the science of dog training, who is uneducated in MODERN training techniques would result in such outdated and abusive UNNECESSARY training devices. they are merely SUPRESSING the 'undesired' behavior, NOT changing it. not a SINGLE certified behaviorist in this country endorses ANY form of e-collar training. what a shtick!!

  • I am willing to bet everyone complaining about the e-collars have never even used or tried one. They do not hurt, they are not painful. I have used every setting on myself before ever trying the one I bought on my dog. Most e-collars also have a feature that will just vibrate and not shock, which is very beneficial with training. People should really research and be more knowledgeable about a subject before jumping to conclusions.

  • So is it a shock or a vibration?

  • Is there a big difference in temperament between Male and Female Doberman's?

  • The dog is not "stressed", it's an incredibly high strung dog. Even without the collar, malinois dogs act like that!

  • Every dog has an e collar on. It is amazing how great a trainer you can become when you shock your dogs into compliance. Lets see what they do when the collars are off.

  • @k9trainer30 We have quite a few videos on my youtube channel of our dogs working without equipment on including 2 perfect scores at the highest level of AKC Rally obedience, Our dogs placing at the World Championships in dock dogs, videos of retriever trials, our police K9 officers placing at the Nationals with 2 different handlers and 2 different dogs in the top 5 etc, etc, etc. Also of course just a lot of everyday stuff.

  • I've held one of the collars in my hand- it tickles. It's like a tap on the shoulder. My puppy loves to works and is eager to please. Sit means Sit is NOT fear-based training. Wonderful!

  • Has anyone noticed that the dog in the sit means SIT logo is LYING DOWN?

  • elektric collaqr on you man so many stupid comments out touch and remote in your hand take of the collar and see what hapen control freak

  • This dog is stressed. That is not attention, that is hypervigilance. That is not work ethic, the dog works to avoid the pain from the ecollar. This is not genius.

I don't know how this type "training" is justifiable, there are better ways that produce the same results with a happy dog.

  • one of the best

  • Dogs, similar to most people, like to have jobs. My dog is MUCH happier when her mind is stimulated! The people who think trained dogs are robots are the same people who have misbehaved kids who are out of control. Having a happy, free-spirited dog, doesn't mean they have to be out of control.

  • What a nice stressed dog. People who train like this should reborn as a dog. And be trained the same way.

  • You remind me of Panzertoo she told me in 08 that her food trained dogs are the best and Freds dogs are all stressed. Now she is using an e-collar in every single video.

  • please teach me it would be my dream to work for sit means sit

  • This guys a genius

  • what a nice robotic dog! What is the point of having a dog! >:(

  • The point would be - the dog wouldnt get killed by running out in front of a car or something eles. Just because he is trained doesnt mean he is unhappy.
