Yeah... well, nowadays, a lot of PCs come without their OS install CDs, and when they do, those have trial sh*t on them. So basically, if you format your drive, you either have to buy an OS or, God forbid, use Linux...
Actually, Macs are worth every penny.
I had TWO PCs in three years before, my First Mac has lasted me three years already :)
Same with my iPhone 3GS and 4 :)
