  • Stupid death over a car? The thief will suffer for his crimes in this world. You cannot escape the dead when they rage with hunger for your soul.

  • Yeah this is Detroit !! This time the bad guy got it!

  • You have the right to defend youself from the thugs....................use them and be prepared to shoot first

  • Good Job another asshole off the streets.

  • 6 people are failed car jackers

  • Attack a man and his family: expect a lethal response.

  • So the problem is you're not allowed to just go up and shoot a nigga. You can only blow them away under certain circumstances. Ain't it nice of them dumb niggas to keep creating those circumstances.

99 niggers acting bad on the street

    99 niggers act bad

you pull your gun, you blow one away.....

98 niggers acting bad on the street.....

    (repeat with declining numbers)

  • @Puck2442 u be a raciss dog..........they be good boys........raised in church

  • @zadiex2

I'm confused!? You say racist like it's a bad thing ???

  • There would be no guns in the first place if handguns were illegal

  • @HunkMine You are sadly mistaken. Criminals will always find a way to obtain firearms. Not only that but even if you did take guns away, what about the criminals who carry knives, bats, etc. ? What if there is more than one criminal threatining to harm you and your family, what are you going to do ?

  • @TakeCareofOurOwn Call the police..run..fight back

  • @HunkMine Come on now, you are not being sensible about this. This family was getting carjacked, the guy had children with him...... how is he going to outrun a gun, do you seriously think the police are going to get there in time ? Fight back...... Ummm, he did fight back and that's why he probably lived and saved his family !

  • @TakeCareofOurOwn About 50 people die a year to guns in England. About 29,000 people die to guns every year in America. Put that in population perspective 1:97 ratio. That means that 97 times more people die in America to guns than England. Self defense only counts for about 1% of these deaths, so it is mostly futile. Therefore, owning guns in (epically urban areas) cause far more harm than good.

  • @HunkMine You are also comparing a country (England) that has a population of roughly 52 million versus a country (America) that has approximately 312 million people.

If you divide the amount of deaths due to guns by the country's population, England has a higher death rate due to guns than America.

  • @TakeCareofOurOwn i included that....

  • @HunkMine and in 10 years your country will be following sharia law, freedom of speech will be abolished, freedom of expression will be abolished.. women who aren't covered up head to toe will be attacked/raped on sight, there will be public floggings and executions to non believers for not paying "jizya" (poll tax) to the muslim majority.. shall i keep going on?

  • @XDm45carrier wow man, use logic and common scene

  • @HunkMine dont criticize my government policies and you better not defile the constitution of this outstanding country

  • @XDm45carrier Public will is translated into public policy, that was how the constitution was made and how all laws are passed. Therefore, it is inherent that you question government policies to receive the best outcome of society. Disagreement is not a synonym to defilement.

  • @HunkMine I like how you omitted 2 key facts. Why don't you list the number of both stabbing deaths in the UK as well as the overall violent crime rate which is far higher in the UK than in the US? You also failed to point out that roughly 60% of those 29,000 gun deaths were the result of suicides. Let's not muddy the waters to cover for an erroneous charge, present ALL the facts.

  • @the308capital I don't have any more time to argue over this, but the death rate of homicides (using anything) using common science is higher percentage wise to the UK. Look it up your self, I got to finish my work.

  • Anyone not feeling joy about the death of the carjacker pure evil.

  • Dead criminal with a gun.. Sounds fine to me.

  • Die you son of a bitch!!!!

  • reminiscent of the scene in reservoir dogs where mr orange gets shot

  • This is what the second amendment is all about. The right for law abiding citizens to bear arms for their protection is for all Americans.

  • I'm not a Christian (or anything) but for some reason I want to sing 'Glory, Glory Hallelujah'.

  • crazy stuff that goes on when you allow yourself to witness such oddity

  • just remember you dont need a permit to "open" carry a gun.2nd amendment !!

  • @akaknocksville Come to Massachustts and try to open carry without a LTC-A. You'll be face down in the dirt with cops sticking their guns at you. Our AG is a cunty, liberal, communist, whore and I'm moving to NH to actually ENJOY our Second Amendment.

  • You know you're in a bad neighborhood when there's a Church's chicken nearby.

  • Nice, that's why crime dipped 2% the next year.

  • @GreensongOakheart Google 'Omar Mixon'.

  • Oh, please Mr. Bad Guy...take my $40,000 car with my wife and kids and drive off to God-knows where with them. I don't even mind if you make them strip at gun point and let you violate every orifice on their bodies, especially the pre-pubescent girls. Then leave them naked somewhere while you make your delivery to the local chop shop and walk off with about $2,000 dollars. That should provide you with enough dope where you can cool it for a while.....NOT!!!!!

  • The dirt bag criminal died, the father and his family though injured are alive. Thanks to the 2nd Amendment.

  • @XJT1972X

I've been thinking about this , and the guy did the right thing !

    Everyone happy now ?

  • Good shootin' Tex! Keep up the good work.I hope you heal up.

  • CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT = THE 2ND AMMENDMENT

  • Feel bad the dad got hit twice, but good riddance to the carjacking thug.

  • It works!

  • @toolkien

U or I know the exact situation in this case.

The facts state that u are more likely to not get shot if u give up what the bad guy wants.

And of corse if a carjacker is trying to take my family , fuck yea I'm going to shoot. But most people that carry a gun want to shoot it at a bad guy to b a hero , I hope this was not one of those kind. He would have put his family in danger.

  • @Lvduggo69 the carjacker PUT HIS FAMILY ENDANGER and he saw fit to protect them in the means HE deemed appropriate

  • The chicago tribune link goes nowhere. I am interested to know what happened to the father/legal gun owner.

  • I made a comment a month ago and you felt the need to pull me back in? WHATEVER! Plain and Simple, if you fuck with my children I will feel overwhelmingly compelled to end your life, by whatever means. If that is some kind of hard pill for you to swallow then make a point of steering far clear of my children. As I am a convicted felon I am not allowed to carry firearms but I CAN beat you to death!

  • there is still no guarantee that the guy would have not been killed if he just "gave it up"....diffusing the situation is not always possible.....to assume that armed carjackers are thinking rationally and "just want the vehicle" is only a guess....fighting back has it's element of risk, but so does surrender.....

  • Shot in the face????

  • God bless America

  • True hero, criminal filth needs to be liquidated without giving it a second thought.

  • Daddy u got a third eye ! Cool , can I call u dipshit for putting us in danger ?

With kids arround , give it up ! Unless it's TP for your bunghole.

  • @Lvduggo69 Did you ever stop and think that his wife and kid were in the car and he was fighting for them?

  • @Lvduggo69 Real life isn't a Hollywood movie. Just as real life doesn't have Dirty Harry, it also doesn't have "criminals with a heart of gold". Do you think Mr. Car Jacker was going to take off and maybe go through a Dairy Queen before letting everybody off on the next block? Who knows what might take place afterward once he's got your whole family in the car. It comes down to fight or let the meth zombie drive off with your family.

  • Do you think he was going to give you time to get your family out. I don't. We just had another case where they took the car with a two year old in the back seat. Found the car but no little girl. If you want to leave your life in the hands of people like that then don't pull your gun. I would like the option.

  • I'd rather let them take the car and get it back in a couple hours than give me and my family faces full of bullet wounds.

  • @phantomshtter so you'd rather let him kidnap your family and god knows what he would do than try to defend your family? what a coward

  • @CraZyLiLBoy00 Sir or mam I have deemed your comment to stupid to actually bother replying to due to idiotic and senseless babbling.

  • @phantomshtter dont assume that your perspective and lack of experience applies to everyone else

  • @CraZyLiLBoy00 I wonder just how fucking stupid you are outside of the internet. No really, how fucking stupid are you asshole? I said "take the car" you fucking twat! My family is not a car now is it shit for brains? Screw your fucking head on straight then learn to read shit heel. You're the only ASSumption maker I see around here. Ya twat!

  • @phantomshtter are you this stupid or are you just making a special effort today? his fucking family was in the car what do you think he pull out his gun for? dude save your breath you will need to blow up your date..go back to jerking off on a continual basis

  • @CraZyLiLBoy00 Pathetic troll is pathetic

  • I really hope he was in a lot of pain before he died.

  • i am a single adult with no children. my life is just as important as any parents or any child's life.

  • @Valyn66 Is this all you do? You've been commenting on this video for multiple days saying the same thing over and over again, calling people 'silly fools' and saying the word intellectual every paragraph. An 'intellectual' person like yourself wouldn't be wasting your life trolling on YouTube videos, but you're probably just some 40 year old single guy anyway. Get a life

  • 1911 beats 911 everytime

  • When I was at Maxwell AFB, a Marine on TDY orders was carjacked just outside the base. He didn't put up a fight; just gave the thug the keys like everyone says to do. Got shot anyway. Bullet struck just above his upper left lip and lodged under his lower left nasal cavity. Stunned him for a moment. Got back up, punched the guy out, pulled the .45 he had under his seat and drilled the scumbag 4 times in the chest. Marine's alive. Thug's dead. Sometimes, it pays to shoot back. OO-RAH!!!

  • Yes he's ok but without the option to defend himself or his family there could have been 2or 3 missing or killed. Your not allowed to have drugs. But there everywhere. ban guns and they will still be everywhere. The difference is that bad guys will have them.

  • @attilio26 That's why "bad guys everywhere" have them in Australia and Europe, right? That's why gun violence deaths are less than 1/5th that of the United States in nearly every corner of the developed world, right?

I don't want guns banned. As you said, CERTAIN, criminals will always have the networks and resources to get armed. But we make it a cakewalk for your average drugged up loser looking to rob a pharmacy to get a pistol.

    There's a middle ground here.

  • And, for the record, I still have YET to hear a single decent argument against registration and limits on private sales from anyone in this thread. "Most Americans are suspicious of the Govt. having a registry."

Well tough deal, crybabies. You need a license to drive a car, you ought to need to submit your serial numbers to your state police so if your gun ends up used in a crime, you'll face questions about it.

I don't want to ban guns and I'm quite fond of my own. I want common sense rules

  • @Valyn66 "I still have YET to hear a single decent argument against registration and limits on private sales from anyone in this thread."

    Probably because they're unconstitutional.

    Here's why.

What business is it of the government's to know what guns you have?

And, it's not a matter of confiscation. It's about the expectation of PRIVACY.

Unless the government has good probable cause or proof that a crime is being committed, there's no justification for them to know.

  • @Valyn66

As for "limits on private sales," on what grounds would it be legally justifiable to restrict or prohibit the exchange of property of people on an individual basis?

Unless you have good probable cause or proof that the exchange is criminal, it's illegal to limit or prohibit the exchange of money, property and/or services. The fact that it's firearms that we're talking about is irrelevant.

  • @Valyn66 "You need a license to drive a car, you ought to need to submit your serial numbers to your state police so if your gun ends up used in a crime, you'll face questions about it."

You only need a license to operate a motor vehicle on roadways owned and operated by the state under the condition that you will abide by the relevant laws.

How does that correlate to gun ownership and the right to keep and bear arms?

  • @Valyn66 "I want common sense rules"

    It's easy to say that.

But it's a whole other thing entirely to DEFINE what constitutes "common sense rules."

Then there's seeing if any "common sense" proposals passes scrutiny, specifically on whether or not the "rules" are contradictory to the Constitution, current law and current legal precedents.

  • @Valyn66

Rather than try to make rules whose efficacy is limited to its ability to be properly interpreted, properly enforced and obeyed, people need to develop better attitudes towards themselves and others.

  • Did the driver survive? I'd like to hear an update on this.

I hope that he's alright, and good for him for defending his family!

People are done with punks who steal from the hard working and honest people.

  • even if america banned guns today, there are so many out there that it would be impossible to round them all up......what is needed is a concerted effort by police/prosecutors/judges/parole boards to ensure that the people who use guns to commit felonies are locked up until social security kicks in....registration is a tough sell in america,as it is viewed, with justification,as a first step toward confiscation.....

  • @buckandotis Well it needn't be a "tough sell." It's no different than electronic medical records, which have been incredibly successful, life-saving programs in several states. I agree that harsh penalties for gun crimes would also aid the problem.

But you have to understand that the current system of sales is carte blanche for criminals looking to get armed. The hardened guys will always be able to get them. But what about your average druggie who wants to rob a pharmacy?

  • @Valyn66 ....here we have strict gun control but gang pukes still buy them illegally.....while felons are able to buy guns is it still illegal for felons to possess them...i must have missed a meeting....i still believe that the way to go is enforce existing gun laws to the max for felons who own them and criminals who use them to commit crimes....registration,even without factoring in america's reluctance ,would be cumbersome, and too many resources would be wasted on honest americans

  • @buckandotis I know what you're saying when it comes to the registration issue. But it's really a common misconception that state-by-state registries would be overly expensive in terms of resources. It's a simple matter of requiring retailers and licensed dealers to take down the information associated with the serial number of type of firearm being used. Electronic medical records are much, much more complicated and have actually saved on health care costs in the long run.

  • @Valyn66 ....even so,the work required to get all 50 states on board would be monumental......like new yorkers running in tax free cigarettes from the carolinas......i think the solution is to make those so called tough on crime pols to get tough on the right crimes......to many dopers in jail and not enough thieves, robbers, gang assholes,parolees.....even thats a tough sell given the mood the country seems to be in these days...

  • @Valyn66 not the same thing.....while having your medical records in the hands of the state may or may not be problematic, the knowledge of who owns firearms makes folks nervous ......currently it is difficult to aspire to elected office in most states on an anti gun ticket, but that could change.....here handgun ownership gives the cops the right to enter your home without warrant, even after you dispose of it....and that is troubling

  • @buckandotis You really, honestly, believe "State" access to your gun ownership record is MORE dangerous than access to your entire medical records? I'm sorry, but as a medical practitioner, I cannot and will not agree with that message. The fact that you own a gun is nothing more than an unremarkable facet of your character in the U.S. Remember - 90 guns for every 100 citizens. Most armed country on Earth.

Your health records are the most precious thing entrusted to govt.

  • @Valyn66 ....yes actually....like i said there can be problems with the state vis-a-vis,medical records, but they seldom draw a swat team...here the cops can find out if there are firearms in your home before they show up at your door....america already has like you say more guns than anywhere, and that's not gonna change......even if it were possible.....given the mood in america these days i think it would be better to focus the bulk of resources on jailing those who use guns for crime

  • Banning guns? What a fucking dumb idea. Criminals will always have a method of obtaining ILLEGAL firearms. There is a reason why it is called ILLEGAL.

Being able to legally purchase a weapon from a gunstore is the only way that the good citizens of USA can protect themselves from these scums.

You think dialing 911 will save you from a scum bag that is breaking in to your house? Do a search on average response time..

I know for a fact a gun will.

    <3 my sw1911.

  • @HowToDoCalculus Who said ANYTHING about banning guns? Read the conversation before jumping in out.

  • good job ...hope you are ok carry on my brother there is no more noble deed than protecting ones family ...even the gangbangers/hoods/criminals/and losers will agree

  • Valyn66 is also Tplur4426 night for now Honey...

  • Re-Peat offenders...How can we possibly have re-peat offenders.....

  • So what happened to Chicago's Murder and Violent Crime rates after the Supreme Court decision in June 2010 striking down Chicago's gun laws?

  • @Kikkins They stayed static. Whoa, big surprise, right my troll friend? Christ you're a loser. I'm starting to genuinely feel sorry for you now. You're incapable of basic rational thought.

  • The U.S. is one of the last developed nations still giving out death sentences and we have repeat offenders? Scroll through the messages there is really only 1 troll here. Your trolling every 3 minutes here

  • @Kikkins Oh, gee, good argument there buddy. If, you know, you have the intellectual capacity of a three-year-old. You tell me, buddy. Why is it that the U.S. has one of the strictest punishment policies for criminals in the entire developed world and crime rates similar to everywhere else? Kind of refutes your retarded notion that crime rates are due to lax punishments, now, doesn't it?

Not fooling anyone. I kicked your ass on the logic front and now you troll to make up for it.

  • @Valyn66 while the usa has long periods incarcerations for criminals it is only one of many variables that affect crime...the problem is how many get caught, and of that number, how many are convicted without plea bargains that reduce serious felonies to probationary territory....over crowded prisons due to a disastrous drug policy is a culprit too.....better to bust dopers for the crimes they commit to finance the habit than to devote so much in police resources to drug interdiction.

  • In the United States, 53% of arrested males and 39% of arrested females are re-incarcerated.Released prisoners with the highest rearrest rates were robbers (70.2%), burglars (74.0%), larcenists (74.6%), motor vehicle thieves (78.8%), those in prison for possessing or selling stolen property (77.4%), and those in prison for possessing, using, or selling illegal weapons (70.2%).Within 3 years, 2.5% of released rapists were arrested for another rape,

  • @Kikkins Oh, nice. Statistics about criminal repeat offenders. How fucking stupid are you? This has NOTHING to do with anything we've been discussing? Do you just get some sick intellectual thrill out of copy-pasting random statistics from Wikipedia? Really?

  • Valyn66 Is in the military ..and will come take your guns when martial law is declared. Good Luck son

  • @Kikkins In the military? Where in the coldest, darkest Hell did you get that stupid idea?

  • @Kikkins I like how quickly you turned into a certifiable child troll at the first sign of an intelligent argument. You have been making your side of the debate look bad, and yourself look like a moron, for two days now.

You KNOW it, too. You haven't made a single reasoned argument and have instead resorted to silly little attempts to troll me and make hyperbolic "sky is falling" assertions.

    Loser. With a capital L.

  • @Kikkins you know hes absolutely kicking your ass right? i dont agree with him personally because i dont like the idea of the government having me and my guns in a system somewhere. but hes not talking crazy and you look like a fool

  • @tplur4426 make sure you kiss him tonight at bedtime

  • @Kikkins your out of your damn mind if you think your challeging valyn. he has, agin and again, kicked your ass on everything from logic to playground insults. you just look stupid, dude, have you ever thought about that? he's making a fool of you;

  • @tplur4426 Kiss him before you go to bed tonight...

  • @tplur4426 ....agreed .....he should at least keep it respectful.....i know it's the internet, but does every question have to descend into name calling.....kikkins,you should pack in in for today,as your comments are just not up to the level of discussion here....

  • @johnnyboy922 Is parroting what Stalin Hitler and Mau say Gun Control Works. His Key Words "I am Based in Australia at the present time."

  • @Kikkins You're a demonstrable moron. Why even bother to continue commenting when you threw your last shred of credibility out the window by trying to say U.S. criminal penalties are weaker than Europe and THAT explains why the single most armed country on the planet has crime rates the same or higher than the rest of the developed (gun controlled) world.

Keep on munching on that foot in your mouth, loser.

  • @Kikkins What does being based in Australia matter? I work for MSF; currently in Melbourne, previously in lovely countries like Somalia and Afghanistan. I was born, raised, and educated in the United States. I've been treating gunshot wounds for well over a decade and, having seen the world, am equipped to comment on BOTH sides of gun control legislation.

I explicitly stated that I do NOT support a ban like the one in effect in Australia. But the laws clearly, demonstrably, work.

  • Valyn66 said the key word guys He is BASED in Australia at the present time. His head is washed with the bullshit Hillary wants him to believe. He thinks Al Qaeda is a real threat to us. You have a better chance dieing to a cork from a champaign bottle than to Al Qaeda.. If we are against the Al Qaeda , then why did we arm them to invade Libya?

  • @Kikkins You're incapable of basic reading comprehension, apparently. You're trying to stereotype me as some liberal anti-gun nut when even a cursory glance at what I've actually been saying doesn't support that at all.

Then again, I have to remember I'm addressing the absolute MORON who tried to say U.S. crime and murder rates are due to our "joke" sentencing of criminals. How does that foot taste in your mouth, shit-for-brains?

  • Gun control in the US will just leave the honest people unarmed. There is a ban on drugs, and you can see how well that works. The criminals can get guns. I will keep mine, thank you.

  • @Arcticfox36 How do you say things like that? It's like you're parroting an NRA talking point: "Laws only affect the honest people."

Please, please, please THINK about it beforehand. The statistics coming out of the gun control countries reveal two things: 1, gun control does NOT reduce crimes. Nor does it encourage them. And 2, blanket gun freedom increases the rate of lethal crimes.

We CAN make it harder for your average petty criminal to get armed without disarming law abiding citizens.

  • @Arcticfox36 As for the "protection from tyranny" argument, I'm sorry mate, but it just doesn't hold any water. What protects Americans from tyranny is the REST of the Constitution. Not just the 2nd Amendment. All those fancy checks and balances have prevented a fascist or totalitarian takeover for CENTURIES. Never once have private citizens in the United States been required to prevent a tyrant taking over.

THINK about it. Why worship 2A and ignore the rest of Constitution?

  • @Valyn66 I admire your passion, and thoughtfulness on this topic. Keep this in mind; without the 2nd amendment, there would be no first amendment, or any other amendment for that matter. A govt should fear its people. Always. I know it seems distant, and unlikely, but tyranny is always lurking out there, waiting for an opportunty.

  • @Valyn66 well there were those little affairs in 1776/1812,where the tyrants wore red, tho' i see the point you make....armed insurrection by citizens has not been realistic for nearly 200 years.....however,far too many americans fear registration of firearms as a road to confiscation, and many would rather risk the disaster of a presidency ala bush,to a more capable leader who might lead to a reduction of gun rights ......

  • @buckandotis While I agree the Bush Administration was an unmitigated disaster, I would chalk that up more to his foreign and economic policies than anything else. Certainly nothing to take up arms over and remember the Constitution is what protects us from such a tyrant. The Second Amendment does not and has never been what's prevented tyranny in the United States.

Remember how Hitler achieved power. He confiscated guns, but was welcomed with open arms. Tyrants rule by consent.

  • @buckandotis And as for the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, the former facilitated the drafting of the Articles of Confederation and eventually the Constitution - it has protected us from tyranny ever since. Not once have civilian militia been required to protect the United States from its government. The War of 1812 was war with a foreign power. It's not like the country voted an English spy into the presidency and militia had to fight to prevent him taking over.

  • @buckandotis I've always regarded that as one of the great absurdities of the NRA. They tout the Second Amendment as Americans' protection from tyranny, regarding that single Amendment as the gold standard of American freedom. And yet they completely ignore the true genius of the Constitution (its system of federalism supplemented by checks and balances) and act as if 2A is our salvation.

Never once has it been required as they imagine it. And I would argue it never will.

  • @Valyn66 ....i think i agreed that armed insurrection has been off the table since well before the civil war in america, but the larger point is that americans do not trust their governments with enshrining gun rights....thus the constitution 2a became the lynch pin of the gun rights people, though much of what's in it is not really pertinent....what is is that americans feel that they have the right to protect themselves with guns, and will use any tool to maintain those rights....

  • @buckandotis ....and just to be clear......i support those rights....i know there is a lot of work to be done before america can get a handle on gun violence, but i think there are better avenues to get there

  • "There is roughly one firearm for every seven people worldwide. Without the United States, though, this drops to about one firearm per 10 people."

And yet our crime rates are the same and our murder rate is 5 times higher. Yeah, okay buddy. Keep on telling yourself that gun ownership reduces crimes. It just doesn't and the sooner you realize that, the sooner you'll understand why I'm advocating registration and limitations on private sales. I want the good guys armed and the bad guys unarmed.

  • OK guys I'm out...I'm running to Wal Mart to buy a Fire arm. Where they don't do back ground checks. They sold my 10 year old a pistol last week. Thank God I live in the U.S. where the criminals can buy guns at Wal Mart without back ground checks. PFFFFFFT Fucking Moron

  • @Kikkins You're such a child. You can't even hope you argue with me based in facts and logic, so you fall back on this drivel.

    Walk away, loser, walk away.

  • @Valyn66 Switzerland has more guns and less crime. .. Just walk on Home Son.

  • @Kikkins Wrong. The United States has the most guns per people in the entire world. Look it up.

Are you just trying to troll me, now? You know you're wrong so you're just going to make deliberately nonsensical arguments? You know you're just making your side look bad, now, right?

Stupid little fool. You just WANT to believe your side is true. Even when people prove it isn't, you'll keep on believing it. Just because you want it to be true.

  • @Valyn66 In Switzerland, the police registered a total of 553,421 criminal offenses in 2009, including 51 killings and 185 attempted murders. There were 666 cases of rape. In the same year, 94,574 adults (85% of them male, 47.4% of them Swiss citizens) were convicted under Swiss criminal law. 57.3% of convictions were for traffic offences.[1] In the same year, 15,064 minors (78.3% of them male, 68.2% of them of Swiss nationality, 76.3% aged between 15 and 18) were convicted.[2]

  • @Kikkins Yes, we get it crime rates in Switzerland are low. Crime rates in the United States (the most armed country on the planet with 90 guns per 100 citizens) are not.

This is almost cute. You think you're making points when you're deliberately ignoring the simple fact that the U.S. is more heavily armed than Switzerland and has crime rates 10-12 times higher.

Look at crime in India (the second most armed country in the world). Then #3 China.

  • @Kikkins You might want to try actually reading and understanding statistics before copy-pasting them from Wikipedia. If you looked dumb before, you just made it 100 times worse.

  • @Valyn66 In 2009 America's crime rate was roughly the same as in 1968, with the homicide rate being at its lowest level since 1964. Overall, the national crime rate was 3466 crimes per 100,000 residents, down from 3680 crimes per 100,000 residents forty years earlier in 1969 (-9.4%).[1]

  • @Kikkins What does that have to do with anything? Do you even listen to yourself talk? Gun control has never been meaningfully enacted in the U.S. so what on Earth do steady / falling crime rates prove?

Good God you weren't exactly a star pupil in school, were you?

  • @Valyn66 Most armed India and China? How about U.S. 1, Serbia 2 ,Yemen 3 Switzerland 4 ,Cyprus 5th. Saudi Arabia 6th. India and China are the bottom of the barrel . What are the Penalties in those country's for crimes committed with guns. What are they in the U.S. The crime rate is higher in the U.S because the penalties are a JOKE.

  • @Kikkins That's per capita. I'm talking about total share of the World's guns.

Oh so that explains it all. The penalties in the U.S. are less strict than those in Europe (a completely absurd statement if you bothered to think about it. The U.S. is one of the last developed nations still giving out death sentences and in the EU "Life in prison" means 25 years).

    Sigh. Just sigh.

If only people would THINK about things. Challenge their own beliefs once in a while.

    You're absurd.

  • @Kikkins I can't even believe you just tried to say that punishments in the U.S. are less strict than those in Europe / Australia.

It's a classic example of something you didn't think about before saying.

  • @Kikkins Yeah, I notice you're pretty fucking quiet after you realize that your "statistics" are invented bullshit. It takes a SPECIAL kind of stupid to pretend that criminal penalties in pro-gun-control countries are MORE strict than those in the United States. The U.S. is as hardline as it comes in terms of criminal penalties. And, for the record, I agree with that. But to try and pretend that U.S. crime and murder rates are related to "lenient" sentences is pure stupidity. Pure.

  • @Valyn66 I'm pretty fucking quiet when I go to bed ass hat. I am done with you and your pathetic views. I tried to help you , but your one of the people who just can't be helped. You think your right, that's fine with me. Gun control works ask Hitler Mau Stalin. Like I said earlier You want to take my guns Come Get Them. You think I'm going to turn my guns in and not defend my family......lol good luck with that.

  • @Valyn66 fact.. when every state has passed their conceal carry laws violent crimes drop around 50% the next day and stay down.

  • @johnnyboy922 Did you really just say that? How do you argue with such deliberate ignorance? How?

You either pulled that from your ass or the back catalog of the NRA. It has no basis in reality, but you still said it. Nice.

  • @Valyn66 fbi crime reports that they publish. had to do a paper on gun control and did plenty of reasearch thanks

  • @johnnyboy922 No, you didn't do any research at all. You parroted what other people have said, independent of any actual attempt at critically thinking about the data you were looking at. I just looked at crime rate controls for 3 different states who passed CCW legislation within the past decade. You might want to try and do the same; the results would shock you if you ever bothered to seek them.

  • @Valyn66 ok will thanks for being full of shit and not actually looking them up. your a joke dude. I am not a member of the NRA nor do I ever plan to be. all I did was look up the stats and write a paper. which by the way it took more than 30 minutes to find when they passed the law and then going through the fbi crime report for the different years to find the relevant data. your quick google turned up bullshit to you

  • @johnnyboy922 What are you even talking about? For Christ's sake, is there some statistical association between gun advocates and a child's mastery of simple things like grammar and English?

You based your "paper" on a single study that has been ridiculed and refuted by reputable sources for over a decade. It's a moron's paradise, when you assert things without bothering to research them, right?

Look at the ACTUAL statistics from CCW states. Not what the NRA told you.

  • @johnnyboy922 It's just a moronic idea. I'm a CCW holder in the States because, frankly, you NEED to carry in the States. With our laws (which make it about as easy for criminals to buy guns as lollipops at carnivals) if you DON'T carry, you're asking to be outgunned. Hence why a Glock 36 is on my hip everywhere it's legal to carry in the U.S.

But if guns reduce crime, why is the U.S. (the single most armed country on the planet) also one of the top countries for crime and murder?

  • @Valyn66 ok your just changing your story man I know you dont do your research at all but you may want to look into what actually makes up the crimes. drug possession traffic violations anything other than violent crimes is completely unrelated to guns. when people in england became unable to have guns guess what people do instead? they fucking stab people. you need to find real facts and not just make things up your a joke

  • @johnnyboy922 I'm walking CIRCLES around you when it comes to basic facts. You just typed "gun control" into Google and thought you were done. You look like a damn fool to anyone with two brain cells to scrape together. LOOK at the actual statistics. You'll see who wrong / retarded you are.

  • @johnnyboy922 I haven't "changed" my story even once. You're a complete ignoramus. look up REAL statistics about gun crime. Why do you think every gun controlled nation on the planet has crimes rates similar or identical to the U.S. with murder rates, on average, 1/5 that of the U.S.?

  • @Valyn66 ok michael moore.

  • @johnnyboy922 Michael Moore sucks.

  • @FlyBoyMike1000 I am well aware thats why i used it as an insult lol

  • @johnnyboy922 In place of an intelligent argument. Typical.

Your research "paper" was completely flawed, based on one study that has been ridiculed and refuted for over a decade. But you weren't looking to "research," were you? You had a per-conceived notion of the results and rather deliberately and selectively confirmed that notion.

Look up a little something called "confirmation bias" and stay in school.

  • @Valyn66 I will not continue to argue with a troll which is exactly what your doing. your on the wrong video for someone with your opinions

  • @johnnyboy922 You never even started to argue with me. You made a claim, I told you were wrong and then said why, and you've been nothing but ad-hominem attacks and no actual arguments since.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

  • @Valyn66 if the government has a list of where every gun is then it is easy for them to come take them when they decide they want to. FACT your a douche. how is that for logical fallacy

  • @johnnyboy922 It's, well, about what anyone can expect of you intellectually. Which is nothing.

There's a reason you can't debate with me, little man. This is why you resort to calling me a "douche" instead of making your arguments. You don't have any arguments and, moreover you don't have any reason to believe the why you do other than because you want to.

That makes you a fool, but don't worry. You'll grow up someday.

  • @Valyn66 They're invalid in YOUR opinion. We live a republic-democracy dumb ass. The people have spoken agains't you.

  • @TiconderogaX And WHAT, exactly is the defining foundation of a federal democracy? Informed political opinions. Your opinions are neither "informed" nor even vaguely considered in an intellectual light. THAT's why you can't sputter out a single argument in contradiction to the MOUNTAIN of anecdotal and concrete evidence I've insanely wasted on this thread of intellectual rejects.

Believing something because you WISH it were true is nothing more than intellectual slavery.

    Clown.

  • @Valyn66 Are you retarded? Can't you see EVERYONE on this page is disagreeing with you??? How fucking thick are you?

  • @TiconderogaX So because people on an obviously tagged pro-gun, American video disagree with me, that must mean I'm wrong?

The only "retarded" person here is the silly little clown who can't muster the intellectual capacity to intelligently defend his own beliefs. Its pathetic and people like YOU, the intellectual bums too lazy to challenge or confirm their own views, are what kill democracies.

  • @Valyn66 Lol the retarded person here is the one that doesn't notice the MAJORITY of Americans think you're a moron. Speaking of a lack of intellect.

  • @TiconderogaX Are you really moronic enough to think that's an argument? So because, in your opinion, a "majority" of Americans would disagree with me - yet can't actually come up with an intelligent reason for it - that must mean I'm wrong?

You are literally a poster child for how democracies go wrong. Fired up, entitled, little fools who stick to their beliefs without even understanding why. You have an agenda, you can't defend it, so you fall back on tripe like this.

    Nice.

  • @TiconderogaX If your beliefs were worth the brain cells you've wasted on them, you'd be able to defend them. But you can't. And you know it.

A few centuries ago, a "majority" of people was more than enough to get someone burned to death for being a witch. Does that mean it was logical / intelligent to go around burning witches?

See, this is entertaining and hilarious to me. You KNOW you can't go toe to toe with me in a debate so you keep posting this tripe out of inadequacy.

  • @Valyn66 Awww, don't be mad. Just because the proof is on my side, and the whacked out nut job hippies are on your side...

  • @TiconderogaX If the proof is on your side, cough it up or sulk away.

See, in the grownup world, you can't just say "the proof is on my side!" and then fail utterly to back that statement up. It's kind of like yelling "Abracadabra! See! Now you're a toad!"

Empty words from an empty head. Fitting, at any rate.

  • @Valyn66 I did provide the proof that the vast majority agrees with me. If you're simply to dumb to understand what that means, than I can't help you. Where is your proof?

  • @TiconderogaX I've been providing proof this entire time and you know it. You lack the intellectual capacity to argue the points, so you've fallen back on this absurd, "The majority of Americans agree with meeee!!" kick.

That isn't an argument. It doesn't even make sense. The majority of Americans may feel that way (although I think in fact a majority would be on my side, considering I'm not advocating a ban on guns) but how about the REST of the World, hmm?

    Poor wittle guy.

  • @Valyn66 Lol no you haven't! You've been giving opens and fiction based stories. I gave you facts on the FACT that the majority of Americans are pro-gun. You cannot deny that! Well you can, and probably will, but you're still wrong and dumb. You're stooopid, no wonder you voted for Obama.
