lemme finish my previous comment, hwo has strings and some can be endless but punishable so its up to the players train of thought its better to just poke though or at least keep the opponent wondering what the heck to expect thats why execution has 2 b fast for bryan, average damage lotsa counter hit traps and stun guards dangerous if u dnt know what to expect in 6 he has powerful moves that hit opponents when down to make things worse he has the taunt thing(unblockable btw) mids and highs r gd

ok...hwoarang is fast, because that is useful when fight against novice players, but against good players is harder because has a lot of movements and combinations and u need to know them,because that is more difficult to dominate than bryan who is powerful and has less movements...bryan is overpowered in my opinion ^^ and i am hwo player so idk bryan combos or juggles but in youtube there are very tutorials ^^

@sapitz65 I agree with you.. I'm new-ish to tekken, and someone told me when in higher level fights, Hwo is harder to use, but when you learn all of his moves and counters he's not that hard to use. I don't think it's the same when you're fighting people that aren't too good.

He is probably easier as a noob cause he is mashable but to be exact with your moves like MDJ is, that's a whole other story. His movelist is one of the longest, if not the longest.

@kool4life77 Hwo is not as lame as Law (low kick to somersault all day long and almost no recovery whatsoever), Bob or Eddy. His attacks are quite linear and easy to sidestep, duck or punish. If you can't do anything against noob tactics, then you are a noob yourself. Don't worry though, I do get cought up in lameness as well, for I usually don't expect players to spam the same shit over and over again.

Tekken... Law is top of the top, zafina is low of the lows. Couldnt find the frame data however the damage data is EXTREMELY close but im sure law is slightly faster then zafina. In SF4, Dan isnt even listed on the guide lol hes so low. But i compared sagat + Ken. Nearly the same in speed, power wise-sagat is on top by around 40 damage in every attack. whaaat? thats a big difference. My point is that the lowest tier in tekken has a much higher percentage against high tier then sf4 or others.

Most tournaments I've seen were won by lee. He's not even top tier in tekken. Steve and law is. I bet if that SAME lee user loved using someone like... Raven or yosh, he'd still place high or even win tournaments. THATS how close the tekken teir list is. I got the guide right in front of me. Sagat being the sword, Ryu being the knife. That's all I'm saying. The sagat user (mago) has the skills necessary to beat diago tho, without the sword. But he would have to work harder with a knife.

As for the most balanced fighting game, I think it'd go between Soul Calibur, Samurai Shodown 4, Guilty Gear and Tekken.

Tekken does have its merits but it seems like you're not even taking the competition into consideration which is an injustice to the other games that could easily vie for that position.

Nxt to Mr.naps and Maddogjin. I lost to him in the semi finals of my last tournament. Personality tho, I could care less of the tier lists. I love all fighting games, all games in general. In SF4, with my ken, blanka, or gief... I rarely lost to Sagat. Most guys just pick him cuz of hes a powerhouse and 2 jump on da band wagon

You can maneuver around the opponent/stage. You cant just pick a high tier char like sagat and mass fireballs from a distance or be extremely powerful compared to most guys. Diago himself lost to a gay sagat. Diago cant win a tournament with a low tier char. Whereas in tekken, you can still be great with the lowest tier. Raven is a low tier but extremely good still. Case close. SF is still great tho.

Sagat has always had faster fireballs than Ryu. You obviously haven't been playing SF for very long. Faster fireballs is a tool not a sure victory.

I haven't heard anything about balancing ever being mentioned. I heard Sagat was remaining a powerhouse but that's speculative talk.

It's because you watch these vids looking for some trickshot combos, even if you tell yourself you're looking at how they're pitting their strategies against each other and how they adapt to clashing mismatched playstyles. Fact is, pros won't be taking huge risks often, so you won't see many jaw dropping moments.

I don't mean to belittle you. Everyone goes through that phase when they watch pro vids of any fighter. You just have to learn to look for subtle moments when the tide turns.

of course it does tho, you have powers and supers and such. But there is no game more balanced then tekken. SF is a legend, as well as Daigo. But it's not a better game in terms of skills and usage of your character. Example, I can crouch block low in SF. You (being lets say ken) can ONLY get me with about 2 moves. A jumping/cross up hit or HK to hit me over top. Both can be seen coming where as tekken, you have low, mid, and high attacks. Mid hits you while your ducking.
