Get the tinkeres workshop and combine hermes boots with rocket boots to get spectre boots, and the lucky horseshoe with the obsidian skull to get an obsidian horseshoe. 2 more accessory spaces have just been made available thanks to PROPER inventory management.

Now that there are random item effects, some of which are bad, a plain wooden hammer is no longer objectively the worst hammer, assuming that is what Jesse has. Though if that is the case I'd wonder why seeing as you have reached the point of ignoring iron, if it wasn't Jesse we were talking about.

There is a way to use items that is easier TB! If you left click the item from your inventory and hold it out over the game screen and left click again it uses the item. While right-clicking throws it away. Also if you hold shift, the game will use the "optimal" item you have in your inventory and switch it to your hand, such as in empty space it will pull out a torch, in water a glow stick, and near a wall it will pull out your axe, pickaxe, or hammer depending on what type of wall/block it is.
