  • ISSS TRU WAYS DAYS SMOKE DAYS FYES BUTT DASS NO SCUSSE TA BAAHHBEQUE DA GAD FADDFA CANDY CAINS ACE FO A PIG O SUMFFIN ! WUSS ROWNGG WIT DA GADFADDAS CANDY CAIN ACE B ALL UP N DA POONS BUTTS MO DEN DA POONS BLOWHOLE MOUFFS B ALL UP N DA GADFADDAS CANDY CAIN ACE TOO ??? SSHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT !!!!!

  • I hate this bullshit... Cain is going to get booted not because he's insane, not because he's unfit for any position of political power, not because he'd destroy the American economy if he ever got the presidency... but because he touched up a few women.... thats some bullshit right there.

  • @Wolfau5 thats the name of the game. all of republicans cand. proposals are essentially the same tax cut to 0% 9% 15% 20 23. how u gonna choose? not much difference. thats where PR comes in handy.

  • @Wolfau5 Hi rapist.

  • @pacemaker2point0 If you're more concerned with whether or not a Presidential candidate would feel up his staff than say... which country he plans to drop dombs on and kill people by the hundreds/thousands (soldiers on both sides, civilians and inspired terrorism and unrest) or his economic policy (which will mean hundreds of thousands/millions of US citizens may end up in poverty and all the medical, social and psychological harms that come with it) you need to reconsider your priorities.

  • @Wolfau5 Straw man argument.

  • "Let's try Michele Bachman...oh, turns out she's crazy."

  • Cain has a history ... I just wonder what the poles are going to say after they see Gingrichs history, because his is even worse

  • Cenk.. I believe you missed the backstory about Tiffanys... The Jewelery wasn't for Mrs. Gingrich...

  • Pretty easy to see right thru Cain's self-righteous indignation. Wouldn't trust him with a dollar.

  • These guys will not win. This musical chair nonsense has convinced me. Thank god, if you believe in one.

  • I bet everyone knows someone who is more knowledgeable and has better character than any of the jerks running for president

  • @TheBug1961 Yeah. Me.

  • Newt Gingrich? WTF!?! And Herman Cain will always have an advantage. HE'S BLACK!!! That's all he needs. That's all he ever needed

  • Did the polls include Newt's fake Twitter accounts?

  • U didn't sat Romney.

  • The republican primary is a circus

  • How come there's no sane candidates?

  • I was at a Cain Rally and caught him checking out my bulge, fucking faggot!

  • GOP has already lost 2012. They need to regroup and look for 2020 or 2024.

They are out of touch with workers, children, and the elderly as well as veterans.

  • disappointed. Cain was winning because he is not a typical politician and i for one, related with his beliefs..

so know we are left with sharon b's giggling 14 year old accusation, of sexual assault. .. timely planned to gain financially...

she should be hanging out with charlie sheen

  • Im not surprised that Hermain cain is involved in this sex scandal besides his last name is cain and pimps carry cains with them all the time

  • It's all about Ron Paul

  • cain is a token candidate.

  • He SHOULD be hurt in the polls by what an ignorant lunatic he is.

  • The invisible, but sane Repub never even gets a mention...Huntsman.

Come on Cenk...give him a shout.

We need to know if Obama loses to anyone, that it's to a sane, decent candidate.

  • @kmeccat There are 23 search results when searching for "Huntsman" on the main channel.

  • lol, try barbra boosh

  • May as well replace the candidates with the following:

A corpse, a cartoon character, a career felon, a duck, and a desk lamp.

This is what I see. Random shit unworthy & gratuitous.

  • @fredNielssen

Australia is way ahead of America and I really hope Australia's environment doesn't end up getting destroyed.

By the way, what do Aussies think of economist Steve Keen?

  • Gingrich? Cain? Really? Come on Republicans get real.

  • It's not even clear Cain was seriously running. He seems to have virtually no "boots on the ground" in major primary states. So far, instead of actually running for President, he seems to just be publicizing Herman Cain.

  • What about his book sales? I bet those are going straight up

  • Does cheating on your wife (wives?) count as deception?

How many mistresses has Newt Gingrich had so far?

  • @j11994466s depends on the situation but it is a sure sign of there ethics... also with-holding information from your spouse is lieing given you take vow's...

  • lets not forget Gingrich was the one cheating on his wife when he was criticizer Clinton for his sex scandal? ...what is it with politics that make men so FUCKING HORNY?!?!?!

  • As much as i hate the motherfucker, Newt isn't retarded. He is a prick but he won't fuck himself like Cain and Perry by saying something incredibly stupid. I would way prefer Cain or Perry be nominated simply for the entertainment value.

  • @madmiguelh2o

That's debatable. After all, this is the man who expressed his worry that America would become a "secular atheist country, potentially one dominated by radical Islamists".

  • @peterfinnfilms exactly! anyone who thinks that has no chance against a well greased politician like obama. romney and gingrich have a chance and the result would be disasterous enough to destroy us. might as well hope for the easiest win for our dissapointing sellout president...sigh.

  • @peterfinnfilms atheist and islam mix lol really... do these guys really belive this

  • so when are they going to try Paul? that would stump einstein.

  • Herman Cain is a dumb negaroe, main.

  • yo whats with cenk's scar in the middle of his forehead

  • the federal reserve really is the like worlds most disasterous institution, seriously, they charge people for printing money..

  • Why the fuck is everyone still toting Ron Paul? Yes, he may be the LEAST crazy person in the republican party, but that still doesnt mean he's any good! Libertarianism doesnt work. Most of the crap you people hate about your government is the result of the libertarian "Less Regulation, Less Control, Less Government" philosophy. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE GOVERNMENT STOPS PREVENTING THE CORPORATIONS FROM DOING WHATEVER THEY WANT!

As for Herman Cain... why the fuck does anyone care about him?

  • Koch Brothers dump toxins in a lake by a small town and give everyone cancer. Do you think LESS REGULATION will make them stop? Banks amass huge debts and ruin the global economy with reckless gambling. You figure the solution is to NOT have the government step in and tell them to fuck right off? Wal Mart uses its superior resources to under-cut local businesses and destroy small town economies in order to create a monopoly. You think they'll magically stop if the government steps back?

  • @Etimos So, the bankster bail-outs are a result of small government? The neocon wars are a result of small government? The fact that big business is given advantages over small business in matters of taxation and regulation, because of lobbying, is a result of small government? The government's huge budget-deficit and indebtedness to China are results of small government? The PATRIOT Act, the TSA, and Gitmo are results of small government? The war on drugs is a result of small government?

  • @Etimos voting is about shaping the future. If Ron Paul is the best choice, who should we elect? Are you one of those "emo-anarchist" who believes their political white knight will ride up on his stead and rescue us all in two months? How old are you? Who is the better choice, you tell us since it was your rant.

  • @Etimos You misunderstand. The corporations OWN the government. They put the regulations in place. They essentially cut out their competition by writing their own laws. The interview of Abramoff shows just how this is done. Legalized corruption.

  • @Etimos Ron Paul is the candidate for people who don't understand, or have much interest in, economics or politics, and who approach these subjects with a lack of intellectual rigour. That's why he's so popular!

  • @Etimos it's because if there is genuine right wing in American politics, it ought to be libertarianism, and not the crazy neo- and social conservatism that we've had for the past decade and that still plagues us today.

  • @Etimos Well, those who vote Ron Paul know that once he got in office he'd do what he said he'd do. As far as him being the cause of the problem [his ideals in specific], I actually recall him forewarning of the problems we have now and he actually voted against the things he knew would lead us in this direction.

  • @Etimos I agree. It's incredible how the GOP has enthralled a large number of people who gain little to no benefit from their policies to defend insane economic ideologies with astonishing vigor. I don't think we should have government on the level of communism or fascism (which is where many mistakenly think we are heading), but the problem with reducing government is that the country, if I may be perfectly honest, isn't fit to take care of itself without shooting itself in the foot.

  • @Magzillas Actually, if you ignore the anti-semetic tendencies of previous fascist states, fascism is actually an extremely effective form of government. Before the Nazi party took power, Germany had been reduced to a third world nation, but in less than a decade, the tight and efficient mix of private industry and government control created a global superpower.

Removing Eugenics and other philosophical mistakes, I actually consider Pure Fascism to be a very valid form of government.

  • The actual Fascist philosophy, when it comes to the relationship between government and private industry, is a strong mix of socialized 'core industries' and privatized secondary industries. Banks, certain manufacturing interests and other functions deemed essentially important for the continued well being of the country were nationalized, and strictly controlled, while non-essential industries and luxuries were run privately, to make everything run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Granted, the success or failure of such a system is dependent on the temperament of the nation using it, and how the government is structured to handle this responsibility.

In Germany and Italy, uber-nationalism and a philosophy of superiority and responsibility encouraged government agencies to operate efficiently and effectively, because they were actually PROUD of what they were doing, and knew it was important.

Now compare that to, say, the CBC, or the Post Office... they get a little lazy

  • Fascism would be a total disaster in the US under the current political climate, because the nation lacks the discipline and ethic to make it work efficiently, and the government has absolutely no interest in running an efficient and effective economic machine, only in siphoning off whatever they can like a swarm of mosquitoes for personal gain.

The national mood of the US is far too self-centered. Altruism and Discipline are dirty words. They like words like 'Rich', prosperous, convenient.

  • This is what happens when the goverment stops preventing the corporations from doing whatever they want huh?! The US is now a corporatist economy based on very similar model to that of Italy and Germany Prior to WWII. Corporatism is a precursor and tool used to establish facism. These are historical facts, facts that only one candidate has been pointing out for over 30 years. So when you ask why the fuck anyone cares about Ron Paul I would say the answer to that question lies within a H book

  • @Altasshrug First, interesting choice of name. Ayne Rand, really? Second, I already gave an explanation of the nature of fascism, and in fact you'll find it differs significantly from the US model. Fascism actually entails the NATIONALIZATION of key industries, STRICT GOVERNMENT CONTROL of those industries so that the government can direct them toward a specific goal, in Germany's case a ultra-nationalistic drive toward reconstruction and re-armament, and it was quite effective.

  • @Altasshrug What the US is working toward right now, with its ever increasing de-regulation and systemic corruption, is indeed a Corporatist society, but that is quite different from fascism, which is more of a socialist philosophy, and places much less emphasis on personal profit. In fact, Nazi Germany was characterized prior to the war by its rather drastic 'Redistribution of Wealth.'

If you're going to compare something to the Nazis, you should probably do some research first.

  • Now what Ron Paul advocates with libertarianism, on the other hand, is neither corporatism nor fascism, but in fact a kind of return to the old 1800s 'free enterprise' capitalism, before the days of unions and weekends and vacations and minimum wage, back when there were no such laws or rules, when industrial work-houses were populated by children, and factory workers pulled sixteen hour shifts, rented their tools from their employers often for more than their hourly wage, and 'life was better.'

  • @Etimos You asked why anyone gives a F about Ron Paul, I answered your question. Ron Paul discusses substantive issues while the rest search for the best catch phrases (999 Plan being the best so far!). Your last comment is not worth responding to.

  • @Altasshrug He does indeed discuss substantive issues, but it's still a case of the one eyed man in the land of the blind. And if you think so, then dont bother responding to it, but silence is not a cogent argument, so dont think you'll be proving any points.

  • @Etimos yeah i suppose he says "999" a lot, too bad he don't go further into the mysterious 999 plan

  • herman cain should jump off a cliff and hit 10 rocks on the way down....

  • Try Ron Paul people!

  • They will say once gingrich is eliminated that they are at the bottom of the barrel with Ron Paul, the thing is that Dr.Paul is smart by letting them beat their selves! His stance hasn't changed in 30 yrs. He is like a Rock, he's solid and will not budge or waver .RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • @fredNielssen

Perhaps in Australia but not here in America where we have coal companies such as Peabody Energy, Consol Energy, Massey Energy (now Alpha Natural Resources), etc., that have a total disregard for resource permits.

I believe Free-market environmentalism encourages businesses to grab resources and pollute till an environment is destroyed.

  • Man, republican elections are like an entire season of Jersey Shore, its full of dumb fucks who dont know anything about anything... except people are actually watching.

  • Right wing media have been pushing Newt's campaign for a couple of weeks now. It's not that suprising he's next in line for the role of anti-Romney.

  • No this is a disinformation campaign.

  • @TheSpankymonkey haha beastility is nothing to be proud and yes ur observation on economics hella sux. :)

  • to paraphrase, The US president is not elected, he is CHOSEN!!!!!!

I as a Canadian realize this, as does much of the rest of the world. It's time most Americans do so as well.

  • They are going to be left with an old Mitt in the end. And by end I mean ass.

  • I guess the mainstream media got what they wanted.

  • Herman Cain is sucking all the air out of the room in the GOP race to the bottom.

  • Obama: democrat who keep agreeing with ALL republican bills

    Gingrish: sexual pervert idiot

Cain: black sexual pervert Koch brother who keeps forgetting stuffs

Romney: white guy, keeps changing his position

Perry: white guy, can't remember "his" position

    Santorum: gay lunatic

    Bachmann: tea party lunatic

Ron Paul: kind of want chaos

    Huntsman: zero chance

Who do you want to vote in 2012?

  • @yes4me Ron paul. If you think he's crazy, then you simply do not understand him. Plain and simple.

  • @yes4me Huntsman...apparently his only problem is no one gives him a chance...why?

Because "they" decided long ago it would be a race between Romney and Obama.

"They" will amuse us with all the Repub comedians and crazies in the meantime.

Huntsman, as the calm, sane, intelligent one, isn't really allowed in the game--he's being shunned because he ISN'T an extremist, a clown or a crazy.

He does stand a chance, but he'll have to be written in if we're to by pass the rules of the "game."

  • This will be the excuse in Herman Cain's ad campaigns: If you don't vote for me you're racist.

  • When I thought there was not a single commonality between the world and the USA, at least the masses of clown-right zombies, in social, political and cultural aspects of humanity, this proved me wrong.

    .

It seems duped right-wingers in the U.S do react as normal humans to sex scandals involving their preferred political representative.

  • None of them are qualified to be president.

  • this is perfect, it gets better and better for Ron Paul. Considering that all Paul supporters r gonna show up, u have to say that Ron will win Iowa by a landslide.

  • @truthofevolution

I'm with you, "By decreasing regulations that give us clean air, healthy environment etc, he will allow powerful corporations to run roughshod over everything.

With his position on the environment, he will leave the individual/community holding the toxic bag.

The four basic defects of Free-market environmentalism:

    1.overexploitation of common property resources

    2.overpollution

    3.too little pollution cleanup

    4.overconsumption

  • @rdboy10 The best solution to the free market problem is (ironically) the free market. America needs an emissions trading scheme and resource permits programme (for rivers, forests etc) rather than regulation. This means the govt can limit the amount of resources used and the price system will force companies to waste less and use renewables. We've had thins in australia (in rivers) for a while and we're about to introduce it for carbon.

  • Of course Gingrich is making a come back, simply staying out the news with these other assholes in enough to make him look respectable. He may be a liar and crook, but he doesn't come off as a total moron

  • Herman Cain doesn't recall calling himself Herman Cain. Herman Cain also doesn't recall not remember what did to an undisclosed number of women that caused them to get very large checks.

  • Every TYT viewer should know that Obama is owned by the same people who own Romney. All of the GOP candidates are..EXCEPT Ron Paul. So if its Obama in 2012 then its more of the same, if its Romney or any other besides Ron Paul its more of the same. Some say Paul's policies will favor the rich. If that is the case why isn't the rich propelling him like the other candidates.

  • I still like Cain. 2012

  • Wonder if Ron Paul will get his turn in about a month.

  • I like Cain for the win. 2012

  • Romney's the biggest corporate shill out of all of them. OF COURSE he'll get the nomination. Then it will be corporate shill Romney vs. corporate shill Obama. The bigger sell-out will win the 2012 election.

  • @unhealthytruthseeker

exactly...we're screwed if we allow them to play this game with America.

  • I love how the Ron Paul supporters are calling him Dr. Paul now. I don't recall anyone using Dr. Mr. Miss. or Mrs. with any other candidate. Oh these people amuse me.

  • @thehoffmanapprentice He is the only Dr. that is running.

Due you call your Dr. "Mr."??

    I though not.

  • @North2016

I don't call my Congressman Dr. or Mr. You missed my point. We don't call are congressmen or senators Mr. or Dr. We call them either Congressman or Senator Whoever. Whats the point of calling him Dr.? Why don't you call him Congressman Ron Paul like a normal person?

  • @North2016

    Or just Rep. Ron Paul.

  • The numbers are fluctuating because the GOP is baffled as to what to do. The simple truth is that they can not win. I can't wait for Roemer to get his shot, he's the only one who could actually prove me wrong.

  • The real question remains: will the Republicans pick a candidate that reflects their base, or a candidate that can stand a chance of winning?

  • What does it matter what voters think?

Cain's fate was sealed by corporations long ago - Romney has been chosen.

  • If I were american, I would definitely be supporting Obama. I mean yes hes not perfect, but the republican candidates (with the possible exception of Romney) are dangerously right-wing. Maybe its just growing up here in the UK, but some of the things that the american far right say which is often considered normal there is pure insanity to my countrymen. I mean apart from Romney, none of them even believe man-made climate change exists, let alone an issue.

Seriously, the US is close to disaster

  • @XtremeGoose Ron Paul would be the president dude. Check him out. Obama just keeps spending and digging deeper and deeper into a disaster. Obama is just good at giving speeches. Ron Paul 2012!

  • @XtremeGoose Jon Hunstman believes in climate change. True it's impossible for him to get the nomination.

  • @gow2lol1

    Huntsman needs more press...pronto.

We are being manipulated by the media again...oh, a sane candidate?

    No press.

  • Comment removed

  • Just not fair Pres Billy boy Clinton got away with saying he didn't do it, then it doesn't count - should not it also apply for Obama, Cain, Perry and Romney?

  • The only person out there with a plan that doesn't screw the economy up worse that already is Lays at the feet of RON PAUL and why doesn't he get any recognition? It's the FED BARRIOR which what got JFK MURDERED BY YOUR GOVERNMENT! Face it folks...As long as you have these people in the White House called Crony Capitalism Robbing you night and day NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE. Get rid of guys like Rush Limbaugh and the rest who support them or you'll never fix your Problem. Promise.

  • Mike Tyson has made a number of comedy videos deriding Cain, when a former world wide heavyweight boxing champion takes time out of his day to make fun of you, you are no longer a contender for the nomination. He's in the same category as Palin and the crazy ass bitch with the gay husband. Focus, goddamnit. There are no jobs, and there's a huge fucking trade surplus with China. Might those two things perhaps be related? Might they be important?

  • NONE of the GOP fools look Presidential - how would any one of them look at a G20 summit LOL!!! OBAMA 2012!!!!

  • @msgambate88 Bush jr didn't look 'presidential' - he was a goofball long before he was elected. And he served two terms!

  • @Danny77uk good point, but gwb was slightly more presentable than those freaks...

  • @Danny77uk

yup...can't ignore and laugh off these idiots...we did that with W...look what happened.

Most of these Repubs shouldn't even be running, they're so bad...but we may end up with one of them...scary!

That's why I say..make SURE the one going against Obama is NOT one of the crazies--we may end up with another W or worse!

I say Huntsman is the sanest, least extreme and most intelligent of the bunch.

  • @voywatcher10 wow....dude, you are terrible at trolling. Stick to what you know.

  • Ron Paul 2012. The only decent, real, honorable candidate.

  • No! No! No! You're doing it wrong Cenk! You have to say he's doing poorly in the polls because he's black and the republican voters are racist.

  • @TheCarambah

    lol!

    Good one!

    and appropriate for the season!

  • You’re a foul one, Newt Gingrich,

    You’re a nasty wasty skunk,

Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Newt Gingrich,

The three words that describe you are as follows, and I quote, “Stink, stank, stunk!”

  • @Ojin0

    lol!

    Good one!

    love it!

  • Don't blame the voters for thinking that you're a sex offender, blame yourself.

  • Republicans should pledge an oath of abstinance if they want to do well in elections.

  • I truly dont get it when it comes to Mitt Romney.

when it comes to gay right questions they charge him with his beliefs as a mormon. While a baptists beliefs and a catholics beliefts have identical judgement in this issue.

  • If Gingrich wins the nomination I could run Obama's campaign.

Fade in.... woman laying in hospital bed dying of cancer. Breathing tubes in her nose with the pinging of the heart monitor in the background. A tear in her eye as she lovingly looks at Newt thinking "till death do us part"

    fade out

fade in, Newt and mistress shopping at Tiffany's.

Republicans usually run with the moral issue up front.

    Well not this election.

  • Amazing that an ignoramus like Cain is even an also ran. The fact that he didn't live in Alaska means he has even less foreign policy experience than Palin--and it shows: he didn't know that China is a nuclear weapons power (under a Cain presidency, the US would prevent China from obtaining nukes); ignorant on Palestine/Israel, including the meaning of the right to return; and, ignorant of Uzbekistan--including how to pronounce it--and its importance as an alternate to the Pakistan trade route.

  • @0gods no one ever accused the republicans of being the brightest bulbs in the pack.

  • WHERES RON PAUL!!!!

  • @keithbu

He is probably thinking how awesome it would be if the government would consist of 500 people and would not have any power to do dick.

  • @ArtypNk piss off you fucken fruit cake. i want pot legalized got it and ill fight to get my way.

  • @keithbu

lol..of course, and with Paul, if you get sick and can't afford health care, you can just die...no universal health care with him as Prez...well except for the insurance he and Congress get....everyone else is on their own.

  • @kmeccat fine then who else am i supposed to vote for if i want pot legalized then. THAT IS ALL I WANT, nothing else.

  • @keithbu

actually, if you want someone who is outspoken about legalizing pot...check out Gary Johnson...ex Gov of New Mexico...he's for legalizing pot and he's very cool too!

  • gingrich has no chance vs obama

    cain is a creep perv

    the rest no chance

so it is romney or jeb bush

  • Ah, fuck it. Cenk/ Ana or Jello Biafra/Henry Rollins for President 2012.

  • Pick one:

    1. Ron Paul (intelligent, principled, honest, constitutionalist, libertarian)

    2. Herman Cain (Koch-addict, sex-maniac, Pokemaniac)

    3. Rick Perry (coke-addict, Bilderberg-approved, BoA-approved, sex-maniac)

    4. Barack Obama (neocon, grabbed by his Goldman Sachs)

    5. Mitt Romney ((fully) white Obama)

    6. Michele Bachmann (gay husband = sympathy vote)

    7. Rick Santorum (gay slang = sympathy vote)

  • @SkullOfYorick HAHAHAHAHA Obama grabbed by his goldman sachs. bro nice one

i think mitt romney is the best truly.

  • @SkullOfYorick I'll believe Paul's honest when I see it. Many people were saying some of the exact same things about Obama and look where he got us. He can say as many nice things to voters as he wants, but no one can say he's honest until he actually does them.

  • @tehloserisyou Paul unlike Obama has 30 years on consistency backing him up.

  • @random69ism That's unfair considering Ron Paul is old enough to be Obama's father...........

  • @34601k Even so it fact just like Obama stating he was not ready for national office. I dont think Obama was at all ready for what he got into with the presidential office and as such was easy prey for Goldman Sachs and other lobbies. If he stopped catering to lobby groups he could be a good prez, but I doubt that will happen seeing as how politics in America have degraded to how much politicians can make in office by selling their votes to the highest bidder.

  • @34601k What the US really needs is a leader not a Goldman puppet.

  • @tehloserisyou Dr Paul has been saying the same thing for three decades, and look at his long voting record. Also, he receives no lobby money, and he refuses to participate in the Congressional health-insurance policy, because he says that it is unfair to the federal tax-payer.

  • @SkullOfYorick Exactly "saying" not "doing". He's a politician, and they'll say whatever they need to to get into office. As for his insurance policy in my opinion and that of many others, including TYT, it's too radical and will result in the deaths of many people from lack of healthcare. And that's even if he sticks to it. You can list off endless examples of pleasantries he's said to people, but that proves absolutely nothing about how he would act in office. It's called lying.

  • @tehloserisyou Voting record.

  • @SkullOfYorick Yeah Obama's is actually quite similar. Both voted against anti-abortion, in favor of gay rights etc. Obama was even in favor of taxing the rich, and yet look at how little of that has happened. The fact is that Paul may very well do what he says he's going to do, but he most likely won't. And even if he does many of his radical policies are dangerous. Especially his views on healthcare.

  • @SkullOfYorick well ron paul still wants people to die in the street with no healthcare like the rest of them, i love how everyone jumps on the paul train without actually comprehending how dangerous he would be in office..

  • @lynottlives Ron Paul has explicitly said the current welfare provisions would remain. Also, there's nothing to stop the states from providing welfare. Ron Paul dangerous? So, you don't think torture, pre-emptive war, warrantless surveillance, TSA molestation, the CIA's running drugs over the Mexican border (Operation Fast and Furious), etc. are dangerous? Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

  • @SkullOfYorick Well...I guess that's fair enough, but his answer to that question by wolf blitzer on the cnn debate the other week where he essentially said he would leave someone to die without insurance has put me off him a bit. even though yeah your right. He has much better policies than Obama on many other issues, I just don't fully agree with his general libertarian-capitalist message.

  • @lynottlives Ron Paul never said that. It was the idiotic crowd that cheered what someone else had said. Dr Paul merely believes that the federal government shouldn't have a role in medicine, but, even if one believes otherwise, the Constitution would have to be amended to make that lawful. Dr Paul doesn't suggest restricting the rights of the states to provide socialized medicine, if that is what they want to do.

  • @SkullOfYorick well thats fine, but the whole point of 'Obamacare' as it's been dubbed, it isn't socialized medicine. It still allows the free-market (private insurance companies) to provide it, which is based off Bob Dole (a small-gvt republican)'s plan from the 1990's (and of course also Mitt Romney's). So i don't really get why Dr. Paul seems to believe this would be infringing on Americans liberty. Isn't offering more people private health-insurance increasing liberty?

  • @lynottlives Well, as Ron Paul sees it, it's yet another collusion between big government and big business. But, I think, the main point that he, and many courts of law, oppose is the unconstitutional and dictatorial individual mandate. In a free society, no-one should be forced to buy any thing. It's even more dictatorial than most taxes: at least, almost every tax is payable only upon the receipt of income or the purchase of a good or service.

  • @SkullOfYorick

Ron Paul (will never get past the primaries, radical libertarian (which will screw the economy), principled and honest: we'll only know for sure when he's president)

  • @Guitarvirtuoso666 The economy is already screwed, thanks to the Bush-Obama neocon agenda. Ron Paul has more firm supporters than any other candidate, and you know it. The only people who can stop him are the big-business, big-government, police-state, war-mongering globalists, if you let them. If Ron Paul doesn't win, the republic is doomed. It's practically a welfare-warfare-police state already.
