  • It is my theory that the universe is expanding because of the gravity wave. Simultaneous expansion and acceleration is typical of a segment of a sin wave. It's like sound waves. As the wave moves the air is compressed and then expands. during the expansion, there is a period where the expansion rate increases. My theory also expalins dark matter, dark energy and makes black holes simple. It is explained here w [dot] waynemcmichael [dot] com [slash] iwt

  • Spoiler alert...the universe is not infinite. At least not the part we call the universe, anyway.

  • @Snakepliskinist But isn't it also possible that there's some light barrier in our universe, so that the universe maybe is expanding beyond our sight?

  • @Furellus The vast majority of the universe is almost certainly expanding beyond our sight. But it had a definite beginning, and therefore cannot be spatially infinite no matter how fast it's expanding. In a practical sense I suppose we might call it infinite, even if we really mean incomprehensibly, mind-bogglingly vast.

  • @Snakepliskinist I watched some of your videos with an open mind, and my initial impression is that you are a crackpot. Your use of vague and/or misused terminology is reminiscent of the book Dianetics by L Ron Hubbard. I didn't see any supporting math or indeed a cogent thesis. Nowadays M-theory branes are thought to be the causative agent of the universe, but the "brane" that contains the universe is finite within its specified dimensions. In short: the universe is finite.

  • @Snakepliskinist The universe IS infinite Snakeman; because there was no big bang. I've explained this on my channel. It's proven and quite obvious to anyone trying to explain physics as just particles, not magical fairy dust that sucks or wiggles things together.

  • if i could join twin neutrinos from zillions of light years away or how ever far away the furthest neutrino has travelled. then in therory i would see the very near edge of the know universe by how twin neutrino reacted. Science is amazing because it always changes.... We can never stop learning about out our "Universe" as we call it.

  • It is difficult to grasp that galaxies are not only expanding but also are accellerating. Maybe it makes us a bit safer as the potential for collisions with other bodies may deminish. Am I on the wrong track here? Also, we would probably never reach another galaxy so why care if the others accelerate away from us except to learn from it. Our current technologies hardly enable travels to our own moon.

  • @TheMalakingdude Andromeda is due to crash into us in a few billion years (or us into it). Isn't it fun to know ones ultimate fate?

  • Fuck God who ever invented the bastard must have been an arrogant asshole, Just like the made god's personality.

  • @nascar51523fan God lives in a time much slower than our own, he cannot even fart in the time it takes earth to have 1 day of time. Bible says how he measured out the seas from his hand. Also says he's of the 8th kingdom, one we will never know during our life in 7 levels of heaven, each having a slower timeflow than the next. It's about DeBrogie waves, particle masses, relatives. I explain some on my channel.

  • @AstronautSquid Hawkings theorises that the universe bends in such a way that if one were to travel in a straight line they would eventually reach back to the point at which they started their journey.

  • @Pinage just like back in the day... they look out without binoculars or any type of seeing device and say "the earth is flat... look out into the ocean and tell me it doesnt look like you'd fall offf the edge... i believe in that if u travelled in a strait line out... it would be just like earth in i would eventually end up where i started... but space time changes that in ways i cant comprihend

  • @Pinage That makes no sense, since elements at his theoretical 'edge of the universe' would have no way to function like ours here on earth, they'd have to be farther apart, so would galaxies, but the universe shows remarkable consistency! I explain unification on my channel.

  • @mikefromspace I don't pretend to understand it. I just recall reading it somewhere.

  • Thumbs if you've been to space !

  • Someone please tell me why we live for evolution? Ohh and happy new year

  • infinite? and expanding? how can something that is infinite be expanding?

  • @rax7 I agree

  • @rax7 Because the thing that is infinate, still expands. Which sounds strange, and can be explained in much better ways than that by much smarter people than me, but still......google it :) (Tis the way of our generation ;) )

  • thumbs up if you are eating while watching this !

  • @MultiPivotXD yes, i also have the munchies :)

  • @MultiPivotXD !!!!! YESS O.o

  • @MultiPivotXD LOL I do XD

  • Nothing is infinite, theres not a single thing infinite in earth. everything has a beginning and an end.

  • I believe in God. There seems to be two options here.

    1.Everything came from nothing (impossible)

2.Something always existed and created everything that was created.

Applying infinity to time looks impossible to me cause with there was a infinite amount of time before us we would still be waiting to exist for eternity.

  • @mrhowe35 but how did that something that always existed came to be? who created that? since you say something coming from nothing is impossible, who created that something that has always existed and created everything? he/she/it had to come from somewhere.

  • @mrhowe35 I suggest you watch- 'A Universe From Nothing' by Lawrence Krauss, AAI 2009 on youtube.

  • @mrhowe35 Yes but what made what, how was god made or what made him.

  • @Volcomnosie One born in the shadow of another is not mean to ever understand this. The tree of knowledge is a bad thing. don't eat too much.

Time has always been. Universe IS infinite. I explain how it's infinite on my channel.

  • @mikefromspace But what do it expand into?

  • @Volcomnosie the MYTH that the universe is expanding I busted years ago, but nobody will give me a peer review on a projectively geometrical form of unification. The calculation is DeBroglie waves mostly. The big picture; cmbr microwaves are slowed down over space since galaxies slowly recycle all free particles. I call this progressive kinetics. See my channel, you'll understand how physics REALLY works.

  • @mikefromspace Well why do we have evidence that the universe is expanding, such as background radiation for the Big Bang and the fact that Galaxies are moving away from us and Galaxies that are 2x as far are moving 2x as fast same with Galaxies 3x, 4x and so on.

  • @Volcomnosie I explain this in my videos. Red shift is effect of progressive particle recycling during progressive decay, while progressive kinetics makes particles in heavenly bodies esp. larger ones inside the galactic bulge. Microwaves slow down permanently because they are kinetic waves loosing ground as they go.

  • Today I heard, and do i remind you im only 13...... that there are over billions of planets with life across the universe. That's scary knowing that there might be other worlds.

  • @XoMyNameIsDanelleXo Hey don't be scared thinking there might be other worlds; we came from another world. No dna connection exists between any human and neanderthal man. What's ever more fun: civilizations over 12,900 years ago has technology more advanced than ours today. The stones in the pyramids were machined within AEROSPACE ACCURACY, a granite coffin. No simple tools were used. Alien drawings on walls... we are aliens but are degenerating, not evolving here on earth much.

  • of cause limitless

  • If we were to reach the end of the universe right now, it has to be very high temperature and emit a lot of radiation due to the cosmic background radiation emitted from the Big Bang that is still racing away today.

  • @GeoCoppens did you known that are 3 heavens.. It was writen in the bible

  • @pogsx69x It is written in John that 7 levels of heaven exist. This is reflected in revelations "There are 7 kingdoms , 5 have fallen, 1 is , and 1 is yet to come."

Broken down into geometry I have explained why and how all we will ever know as reality exists inside those 7 possibles. It's on my channel.

  • @GeoCoppens it Right

  • the Bible has a answer It was written that the entire universe has a size and limit, It was the book of the past, present and the future. The Bible is the guide to humanity. Seek the bible it was so mysterious and marvelous please also seek wise man. It will give you guide in your life.

  • @pogsx69x Wrong!!!

  • @pogsx69x And just where the f*(@ did you read that? the book of Momron? The universe IS infinite just as is time. Jesus said "everlasting life" ; he did not say; life until the big collapse.

    idiot.

  • the universe has to be infinite! cup your hands together. whats in there, nothing just space (exclude the particles and oxygen etc.). how can you have a finite source of space. if there was a point in the universe where it stopeed what would stop it? a wall? then what is behind that wall? that wall would have to continue on forever which is harder to conceive than infinite space.

  • It is my belief that the universe is infinite, no beginning and no end. And I have a theory about it all, that makes a hell of a lot more sense then big bang waynemcmichael(dot)com(slash)iwt

  • @batmandeltaforce I explain in videos how the universe is infinite, how unification is simple as pie.

  • Love your chanel man :)

  • it sucks that we will never get to explore any of these planets in our lifetime

  • @AmShRo I Agree with you there , Quite sad really :(

  • Here, everyone is my argument for the Universe being FINITE in size:

Now, consider the Big Bang. If Space-Time was created at the instant of the Big Bang then where there is no universe (The expanded chaotic particles of the Big Bang) Then there is no space time. Since light is delayed to observation, and is finite in speed, outside the universe, there is no time to look back into, therefore, we cannot observe it. I cannot tell you what is outside the universe for this reason alone.

  • Now the really interesting consequence of a universe of infinite size is that at all times, no matter how little or much time has passed since the big bang, EVERY given finite structure has a probability of formation over 0 and so exists at INFINITELY many locations. There are other Earths, other yous. You could suddenly find yourself on another Earth 10^(10^30) light-years (or angstroms, what's a few extra zeros) away, an indistinguishable you with all the same memories and you'd never know.

  • religion is a BELIEF. there is not facts to back it up at all. a fucking 2000 year old book that was written by savages, yea lets base our lives off that.

  • i believe in no religion at all.

But its safe to say that somthing has to have created the universe.

Think about it how can "space" just magicly come by.

    What created atoms?

Im sure humans were created through evolution but how can people explain how space was created?

  • @sexyass02 Who created the creater...and who created the creater of the universe creator... universe in infinite simply.. why not? the starting domino is universe created all...

  • @sexyass02 God (Allah) Created all this world .. It's simple No need to think

you must believe in allah to be in the heaven at the other life :)

  • @Gam3r20 SHUTUP FAG

  • @Gam3r20 Yeah go into something that we have never seen.

  • @Gam3r20 what a primitive and ignorant notion.

  • @sexyass02 the universe has not yet had its darwin we do have a rough figure of how it all came up

  • @sexyass02 maybe it was never created. It just always existed. There always were particles around in the "nothing". They just had to somehow come together in a sub-atomic reaction...

  • @sexyass02 So you believe something created the universe, yet you can't believe that God did?

  • My question is if something actually is infinite in size, wouldn't it mean it's rapidly expanding at an unlimited speed? Because if it isn't, you could reach the end of it.

  • existence in itself doesnt make sense..yet we beleive it.. athiests say GOD doesnt make sense but dont beleive it

  • and if the universe is infinite its not a little stupid to say that there are no aliens?

  • when something ends there is something beyond it ALWAYS, and we don't even know how huge is the space. What's beyond it? No idea, we need stronger telescopes and space flight.

  • this is FAKE!! we all know the moon landings never happened, there was a studio where they filmed it in Hollywood!!!! THE MEDIA IS LIEING TO YOU!?!

  • @nildozer HA yr right

  • @nildozer good for you

    go read some bible

  • @nildozer

    The grand Irony?

  • @nildozer Area 51 is where they filmed it but who the hell cares, Let's just watch awesome space videos like me.

  • @nildozer dumb fuck. You're the one being lied to.

  • i would rate this video infinite times..

  • i thought i was the only one who asks these questions

  • Anything is possible; infinite possibilities. It's amusing... Also somewhat creepy

  • We will never be able to see to the so-called ends of space....it's too dark. ^_-

  • @realigiousrayne yes theres no light

  • I say that....The space in in a large world space is touch the earth get it?

  • Humanity has always looked skywards for its true path..

  • yes the universe goes on forever or there are millionas of universes, one time they thought the milky way was the universe, we sitll live in small brain idiots who cant handle the truth, thank goodness some found out the truth we have a round earth not flat and the universe goes on forever

  • science: proven

    religion: not proven

  • @nelis555 science is proven????? by what??? by science so that doesn't count? the fact that religion ''is not proven'' makes it actually the right thing since we just proved that science is wrong

  • @Moroccan01 no, i think we just proved that you're a moron. wtf are you talking about?

  • @Moroccan01 wow you are a moron.

  • @ProjectXeyu Thanks I feel special now :s

  • @nelis555

Through common sense you can conclude that some sort of higher power must exist.

  • @PreciseArrow1

    Common sense of bullshits

  • Y is there always a retard that brings religion into all of there vidios T_T OMG

  • my bet, the universe is really just the inside of some dudes fishtank... and we cant fathom the size of it no better then a earthworm can imagine the size of the world around it

  • Some nice visuals, with god narrating even. Just skip the Big Bang explosion out of nothing. The universe is infinite and eternal (see The Scientific Worldview).

    Glenn Borchardt

  • i have a question do people from diffrent religions come here just to hate this is science realy most of us are athiest that why most of us wacth it so please we realy are not gonna change our mind tell us "god made the" thats great i dnt give a shit so please leave us alone

  • @tajayfoot1

There could be or must be a being that started this all.

I'm not saying that it is the god or any other gods that people believe.

but just look how beautiful and how massive our universe is.

  • @chickenmanokout not trying to be or sound like a dick but who made those who made us and who made them and so on and so on and so on..... you get what im saying

  • @tajayfoot1

i respect your opinion but man something that is CREATED must have it's CREATOR so if u dont believe in a perfect creator then u fail miserably

  • @suljaga123333 y is that?

  • @tajayfoot1 I'm sorry to dissapoint you but YES IT IS...U think you are pretty smart being atheist dont you?Well here a thing about it.U are a perfect example of this system who tries to make a man a robot who does nothing but to work, eat, sleep and so on and so on...Dont you see in what this world is becoming and dont please tell me well its all religion that provokes this,it surely does affect it because people are bloody blind to see the TRUTH.It's Jews that are trying to make this world worse

  • @suljaga123333 lol listen two things went wrong in ur situation 1. i sir am no robot for fuck sakes i have fun and i play games eat i live life like anyone else, 2. u are judging other religions and im sure that in christianity thats bad and jews are the same as christians they have the old testiment where jesus isnt in it u have the new testiment thats the only diffrence and please dnt spread ur hate and all that religius bullshit on me i dnt beleive in for the reason that it seperates us

  • @suljaga123333 And please if you have time give me your facebook or msn or whatever in personal message and I will explain you this in detail...Please don't take this easily, think about it ...your life will surely change to better.I hope that u will be smart enough to listen to me because I want you to show you the righteous path because every man deservse it and the rest is up to you...so please think about it and write back

  • Can't wait to see it! Love the videos!

  • @attypulpol Maybe hes waiting for god to struck me down with a lightning, oh my, well never see mr Barakuda again :P

  • I'm really excited about this! The question of whether the Universe is infinite makes me lose sleep at night. How is it possible that the Universe is infinite? Oh, my puny human mind cannot conceive of something so grand! It fills me with absolute awe just to look up at the night sky; can you imagine how I feel just thinking about an infinite Universe? And, if it is not infinite and has an end, what is beyond that end?!

  • @cosmicexplorer22 one of the Spacerip videos talks about how big the Universe is. To be precise how immense it is, haha. Anyway, they somehow managed to calculate approximate numbers, i can not give you the link right now but check it out. Made me think for a while too :)

  • @cosmicexplorer22 Amen. o_o

  • looking forward!

  • i really do beleive in aliens, or other ET lifeforms.

If the universe goes on forever and is endless, there are an infinite amount of galaxies just like ours, the milky way. And in those galaxies im sure there our planets whom for which ever reason have life just like earth.

Every galaxy probably has one planet that has lifeforms just as we.

They maybe in the iron age, they may be in prehistoric times, or they may be 40000000 years adavanced technogically more than us.

  • @zoltman91 there would in theory be an infinite number of you doing the exact same things as you are doing now at the same moment....we don;t know for sure of course ;)

  • I don't know why stick to people that were genius and died, dont we have genius brains today??

  • I just wish they would quit looking back in time and use some realtime telescopes :) hehe

  • Does it matter? You can never visit them!

  • Is the Universe infinite?..yes and er..no!

Because if there was a big-bang, as part of a cyclic process, then when the next bang occurs, this Universe becomes finite, in its destruction.

  • Space is epic , its like wanna make me something

  • I am so excited of the new episode!! I'll check everyday for it :)

  • So scientists have NOW concluded that we haven't seen the whole universe... Great job

  • @NoeyTh13teen They always say that, it's a way to make they're episodes more exiting. No need to be sarcastic, jerk...

  • @NoeyTh13teen - Don't forget the discovery that there is a restaurant at the end of the universe!

  • @NoeyTh13teen no, they are PROVEN that PREDICTION

  • You guys...please calm down....this is really annoying. Sometimes I wish we could turn off the youtube comments :-/

No one cares what you're religion is. Stick to the topic.

  • @NecroPhil85 you can . . .

  • @NecroPhil85 THANK YOU!

  • @NecroPhil85 Sincerely speaking, yours is the smartest comment I've read so far in all of You Tube. Congrats!

  • Everybody stop arguing and watch the video!

  • @attypulpol Your still going on about this? Go talk to your invisible friend and stop bugging me.

  • @attypulpol And my son, you tube is full of ignorant ppl that dont want me as their lord and savior. That is why you should go away from youtube, never to return and suck up to me only in churches. You tube is devils work, away from this demon spawn my child. Go to my churches!

  • @attypulpol Yes my son. I am the God. I was just testing your faith. You did well my child. Now go back to sucking up to me. I love it

  • @barakuda1111 Im Atheist!

  • Firts Think: Is Your Mind Infinite?

  • @paulkn6 That's a question I would love to know the answer to. I just know that our minds are shielding from so much in their normal sober state. Know this from experimenting and it's really eye opening.

  • @MellowCruisin Your Eyes Are Already Open My Friend. Namaste.

  • I think that the known universe is like a drop in an ocean and like the ocean on our planet where does it start and end, no one can say as it continues around the surface of Earth.

  • anyone else think about how strange the universe is compared to what our brains are used to processing? Like if the universe was a single object like our planet you would not be able to stand out from a distance and view it as a collective whole. The entire thing would be a gradient of time. You can never view the universe collectively as a single point in time. Its ridiculous to think about. You can't do that with even single galaxies. Looking at Andromeda we see a time gradient of 100000 years

  • how long is one light year?

  • @BIGBOSSTEDDY 1 light year is about 6 trillion miles

  • @BIGBOSSTEDDY 9461 000 000 000 km

  • @BIGBOSSTEDDY (365.25*24*60*60)*(3*10^8) = approx. 9.5*10^15metres (9,500,000,000,000km or 5,900,000,000,000miles). It is basically the distance that light travels in one year (speed of light being 300,000,000 metres per second)

  • the universe is like the internet... finite but unbounded. you may see what you can see in the internet, but you cant see the order that runs it.

  • @fixingbraincell bad example.

  • @sjaved789 YOU ARE THE BAD EXAMPLE.

  • @fixingbraincell ludicrous example. how is the internet "unbounded"? it's contained on millions and millions of hard drives. by the way, if you want to see the "order" behind the internet, view the source code.

  • @playadominical hey dude, its just a comparison i made. lol i do not say that the universe is totally like the internet. but just look how vast and cloudy the internet is, and it keeps on expanding. lol there are viruses that suck information and damage pcs like blackholes. lol

    im just sayin'

  • I don't think we can look to the time before the big fog ,cos the h2 masked every detail

  • having an infinite universe doesn't mean you can not have expansion or contraction.

objects in an infinite universe would not be statically held in place.

  • AWESOME!

  • A+++++ SpaceRip = best channel on youtube!

  • sooo glad i subscribed, can't wait.

  • omg cant wait for the episode

  • If I forget about what the Quran says for a moment (it says the universe it not infinite). When I think about if the unisverse is infinite or not... I think about everything we know like atoms stars bacteria etc... I realize they are all round. So if everything is made out of atoms, than everything must have an end, nothing that we humans see and know, can ever be infinite! We only think its infinite becouse we don't know it better!

  • @bibbed87 Thats always the case, just like so many people are thinking that there is nothing smaller than an atom, there is something the atom is made of, there is something the proton is made of and there is probably something an elektron is made of! We just don't know it, that does not mean that there is nothing beyond that.

Stop thinking about something you will never be able to understand!

  • @bibbed87 "Stop thinking about something you will never be able to understand!"

Utter nonsense. You can only share that sentiment with us because of the work done 100 years ago by people struggling to understand the world on scales vastly smaller than they could hope see at the time.

  • @AutodidacticPhd its not done 100years ago, its done hundreds of years ago. You talk about something totally different, something humans can understand. But if the Space has an end or not, we will never be able to find out and we won't be able to reach the end. So why should we think about this while we could spend more time for other things.

  • @bibbed87 You completely missed the point. 100 years ago the consensus was that atoms were a mathematical abstraction and that it would be "impossible" to study or understand something you couldn't see, so don't bother. Thanks to the people who ignored that advice, modern atomic physics was born and the insights gained are the direct prerequisite for modern electronics. You can't know what can or cannot be understood until you try, and the uses emerge from the process.

  • @AutodidacticPhd I know what you mean, but as I said, its useless to do research about the size of the universe... we should care about other things.

  • @bibbed87 "its useless to do research about the size of the universe..."

Sorry, but if you can say that and mean it, then you do not know what I mean.

  • The expansion is exponential, meaning the more time that elapses, even more space is created. there simply is no way to reach the end. there IS an end, but its simply such a vast area with such a fast inflation there is no way to reach the moving end.

  • @TheCheatingBastard I try to imagine how fast is the Universe expanding, I mean, maybe it is expanding on an extraordinary velocity, and another thing that makes me think a lot is the idea of the big and small infinites.

  • its to hard to understand for or mind, i think its a gigantic baloon that stretch out faster and faster...and the hubble only seeing 1% of the whole universe? or maybe 0.0001%? how would it end? with a gigantic wall or something? :o well i think its infinite :) thumbs up if you agree :D

  • @AntaresHD I don't think it's infinite. It is very big and we probable have on'y seen a fraction of it but I don't think it's infinite.

  • science + deep voice = Yeah! so emotional

  • I cannot afford to pay for popular science videos.

  • You are my favorite "YouTuber". Thanks for posting all your videos! :)

  • thats God right there.

  • @attypulpol where?

  • @barakuda1111 there!!
