  • nossa eu nao entendi nada srrssrrs

  • there is a cheaper and the same vaule corset store and clothing at goodgoth, com check it out

  • honey.

Are dracula clothing's corsets made with plastic boning like what you have on there?

    Thats not, eh, a corset.

  • @Kitteyduck

No they are made with flat steel boning and spiral steel boning.

The one I was wearing in this video was a Hot Topic one, made with not plastic, but layered fabric to create the effect/appearance of boning.

  • thanks for the advice

  • @xxMyamxx Your welcome<3 Good luck ^_^

  • i want one becuz i want to look and feel skinny (cuz i hate being fat) but my mom says that it rearranges your organs. so what should i do to make her get me 1?

  • @xxMyamxx Tough one, I don't know. If she won't buy you it, she won't, parents can be strict. But as far as I know corsets made now a days are made NOT to screw up your organs, but wearing them too much can shift organs a bit...but I don't think you'd let your body get to the point where your stomach was aligned with your lungs... so, you should be good. but like I said, it's up to your mom. May be if you nag and nag her about it, she'll cave. or you can do some nice things for her in exchange?

  • have you ever owned a corset from dracula clothing?

  • I just started tightlacing about 2 months ago and I

was looking for some more awesome but strong

corsets do you think the corsets are strong enough

    to tightlace in ???

  • @XxxCailieCursexXX Lol!!! I was wondering the same thing

because i was concidering tightlacing but it is like so hard to

find a legit corset that is think and strong enough to tightlace in

  • i just got a corset from dracula clothing and i love it! it was a fast delivery too

  • i would never buy anything from hot topic its all un unique and poorly made

  • Anything cheaper than several hundred dollars is probably not made very well.*

  • I'd hope not, that is ridiculous !

  • A $50 corset doesn't even cover materials. If you were getting your corsets custom made with metal boning and busks and multiple layers of fabric from a reputable corsetier they would expect to get paid for the many hours of labor building such a garment would take.

You can get "corsets" or bustiers for much cheaper because they are of clearly poorer quality, made in factories where liveable wages aren't considered and with cheap one layer fabric and/or plastic boning.

  • For example, if you look at the corsets on the site you mention they feature minimal boning and at least every other one has horizontal wrinkling, which is a sign of corset with poorer foundation or one that isn't poorly fitted. It seems closer to a fashion corset that's slightly better constructed than the real thing.

There's nothing wrong with these, they're much more accessibly given their price. I just think it's important to know what a corset really can be. :)

  • Indeed.

but it is also hard now a days, because people say their stuff is always made better, has a better price and what not; and it isn't. So it is easy to get ripped off, but I see your point in the sales eyes of a manufacturer wanting to be reimbursed the money it took to make the corset.

  • :( it is so sad, but may be we'll find a good over bust that is REALLY REALLY TIGHT so our boobs will burst :)

    that'd be sch-weet

  • its ok rachael i will never experience the greatness of boobs popping out of my clothing as well :( lol
