With Vampires being "in" and all, I bet if they brought Moonlight back, it would be an instant hit again. Just look at every other vampire show on TV. I haven't watched them, but I have heard that they are doing really well. They should have at least attempted a 2nd season. I'm positive it would have picked even more.

Digital worked because it doesn't use silver... and the episode you're thinking about it's probably 2nd when Mick was looking at the photo of himself they used in the book.

So many elements of what made the series potable have disappeared and can't be brought back. The changes have not improved the "B film" aspect.

Impressionable youth may well try some of the ridiculous things they see (dangerous leaps, blood-letting or drinking, viiolence because they think they are morally justified, gothic gans who murder people...)

I can understand why the studio cancelled this improbable and almost ridiculous series.

There is no correlation between violence in the media and in real life. I got told by a Saw fan while working in a cinema that one of the world's most infamous serial killers named The Sound of Music as their favourite film.

Besides, Moonlight isn't for 'impressionable youth'. It's probably the lower end of 15 or the upper end of 12. I can't say for sure because I haven't seen a DVD release in the UK.

I guess this is the first episode you saw because in previous ones, Mick can drink Whisky and he also stated that Vampires cannot digest food. Alcohol is an exception because someone stated here, "it goes directly into the blood".

It would have been nice if they dragged that out a bit because that story did have some more potential, but I think that what they did write really showed how much Beth cared about Mick. She was basically willing to do anything to not only protect him, but to keep him close to her.
