this song is haunting my mind it keeps popping into my head wth its a good song but but theirs others i like better they dont show up in my mind as often whats gooig on it's voodoo!!
I didn't pay attention to the date of your comment since it was only on the first page, you said "still commenting" as if ive been commenting for a month or something, which I haven't been. this is my last reply, i still can't tell if ur a troll or not, but this needs to stop, so bye.
@Kojitsu im not a `troll` as you put it. i dont sit their writing comments to start and argument. i wrote my comment because i really didnt hear it from lost in translation. why you even replied to my comment is another matter............
In my first reply, I said "where I heard it from does not affect how much I enjoy it." Because on every song on youtube that just happened to be in a movie, there's always that exact same comment of "i did not hear this from ---------" with a bunch of thumbs up. It's kind of a "hipster" comment, like "oh I heard it before it was popular so that makes my music taste better than yours" I called u a troll, because you said "im sorry if your offended", which I interpreted as "u mad bro?"
@Kojitsu you may be thinking to much into my comment. i dont give a shit about my own musical taste or yours and i only said "im sorry if your offended" because i didnt expect someone to react so angrily to my comment
this song may have been heard in"lost in translation".........however this is a diffrent version....this version is more slower.........also what is sad is this song is not on the film soundtrack.......... (or the faster version)
<3 this. What do you think this song is about? how do you interperet it? I see it as a guy and a girl who had some minor bumps in the road in their relationship and once they smoothed things over, they both wanted to show each other real love. The way she sings it, makes me think that they had bad relationships or experiences before one and other and now they are feeling true love? I dunno! Help me out here.... tell me what you intereperet. ... p.s 5:00 is eargasmic :D hell the whole song is!
@beatsforonlyu comes across a little different than in the movie i think. and i wouldnt have exoected the chemical brothers to be behind this piece of music :)
this song brings to many memories to my mind from the year 2002: high school, watching vanilla sky, faling in love with a girl, listeining to phoenix, air, benjamin diamond, travis and this.
It's like those very few very rare moments of clarity in life, where everything feels just right. When you meet that special girl, when you've got something you worked so hard for. It's definitely a euphoric feeling
It's like those very few very rare moments of clarity in life. Where everything feels just right, when you meet that special girl, when you've got something you worked so hard for, when nothing else matters but enjoying that single night. It's definitely a euphoric feeling.
I think this album may be the one chemcial brothers album i buy cause a lot of nice synths on it, the psychadella house is toned down and the driving drums also seen on tracks like saturate and the pills dont work return! I like! Does any one think more recently chemical brothers have been moving slightly away from the minamilst bass stuff and more to polyphonic majestry?
Chemical Brothers are too cool, you can hear my bloody valentine's influence near the end. In fact bands with a huge culture on different genres of music are my favorite :)
Oh it seems that I spend a lifetime for searching this song. I heard it on Lost In Translation when Charlotte and Bob have fun in the club. It fits with my situation right now, I'm not a hardcore fan of CB but this is a good stuff indeed.
@frajen86 Nah I think its about someone taking the easythings in life and not be being prepared for the hard, like a failed marriage. Could also be (if u stretch it) applied to a sportsmans carrer ending and geting used to living without the money.
As far as albums go, I think Push the Button is the most different of the CBs. Perhaps because it is more mainstream oriented than any of their others. It's still my second favourite album by them though, beaten by Surrender.
Love this track. Funny how this is so very different from anything else that the CB's have made. Beth Orton must have been the instance for them to record in this style.
Seriously, I've scoured the entire discography. This is it.
@Velitaris whoes beth orton? Also I think its not in some ways unlike the other tracks on this album (driving drums, less house/psyhcedlla over powering the music, more variety of instrument or sounds and polyphonic majestry) From tracks from other albums I think the pills dont work (instrumental version) and saturate are also in the same style but not the same genre if that makes sense! I.e style being the approach to the music and genre being the kind of music it "belongs" to.
I would never....but you gotta admit the mean age for most CB fans is 25-35. Thats kick ass that someone a little more......ripe......can appreciate good music outside of what the grew up with. Good music is universal
@quicky2103 exactly so many older people dont understand electronica and think all genres are the same and wouldnt listen to it to hear the same patterns that they hear in classical music for instance. I personally dont understand psychadelica and minamalist house/techno (lack of movement int the music, repetitive lack of filling all available audio space)! Plus the younger folk (under 17) only understand all the crap like "tiny tempa etc".
its just his opinion, yours is that it is a good film, clearly. just because he does not have the same opinion as you it does not give you the right to insult him.
This song terribly reminds me of the love-scene-not-shown of the movie Abandon with fabulous Charlie Hunnam and dislikable Katie Holmes, lol - and so, yes, it is quite special. xD
